A biannual on‑campus market distributing free produce and staples while highlighting food security work. Confirmed by Baylor Sustainability’s calendar and reported by the Baylor Lariat.
Seasonal midweek market with live music and wellness activities, 5–8pm, spring and fall. Details are listed by the market and echoed in City of Waco sustainability newsletters. A relaxed way to meet growers after work.
Waco’s anchor market moved to Bridge Street Plaza on March 1, 2025 and runs Saturdays 9am–1pm with farms, ranchers, bakers, and artisans. Confirmed by the market’s site and covered by KWBU public radio; SNAP match is noted by LocalHarvest.
Since 2011, this producer-only market has been the Saturday meet-up for growers, ranchers, and makers within 150 miles. In 2025 it shifted to Bridge Street Plaza, adding music and wellness programming. Consistently recommended by local travel editors.
It was nice. Fresh food vendors, food trucks, live music. Parking was a little challenging. Lots space for kids, dogs. I feel like they have a lot of room for more vendors. Would have loved to have seen leather goods, cowboy hats, local souvenirs like Texas t-shirts, etc. We are from NC.

Some people are very expensive. Use to you went to a farmers market for cheap home grown fresh food not to out price stuff you make in your house. It was Organized but most of it was way to expensive.

It's fine! Lots of food trucks over there! After a hectic weekday, You'll enjoy your weekend coming here!
I expected some vegetable trucks over there but it was upsetting for me. It's a fine place but not extraordinary place!

Super cute farmers market! They have a little bit of everything! I loved the wild flower stand and if we were staying longer in the area we would have bought so much more! The coffee we had was fantastic! So many families, dogs, and it seems to be the place to go for teens as well. Highly recommend to anyone in the area when it's open!

A lot smaller than anticipated. Was hoping for more fresh produce vendors. There was only one, a wild mushroom vendor, which I was excited about as I don't see them often anywhere.

I went looking for what farmers markets are known for..farm/ home grown vegetables. I only found one stall that had a few items, not many. There were plenty of vendors selling crafts and "other" things. Maybe it was just the weekend I visited, but there was nothing that would make me want to go back.

I stopped by over the weekend and really liked it. There are lots of food trucks and cute little stands. I was hoping to find more veggies, so that part was a bit disappointing. It’s a fun spot though, with a nice setup and very friendly vendors. The wildflowers were my favorite. If we had more time in town, I would’ve grabbed so much more. The coffee was amazing too. It gets busy, and there’s not much parking, so wear comfy shoes and maybe bring some shade. Great spot to check out for families, kids, and even dogs. Worth going to if you’re nearby!
