Hand-tossed, foldable Brooklyn-style pizza from an independent local group that keeps the focus on crackly crusts and generous slices. Trusted by transplants craving downstate flavor; multiple area outposts keep it easy to find.

First the positive. They have buy one get one free slices between 3pm and 5pm. They also offer a variety. Now. The cheese slices looked like they were sitting for a few hours. I asked. One employee stated, yeah they've been sitting for a while. Anything over 2 toppings were considered specialty pizza and were over $6 per slice. So besides the old cheese slices, they only provided 2 toppings on the rest. I got 3 slices and so 3 slices were free. That's 6 slices of pizza for a little over 20 bucks. That's crazy. I get a whole 18 inch cheese pizza (16 slices) from Pizza Stop, which is delicious BTW. And, the only reason I paid for it is because I ordered it. This was the last time tho. It doesn't even taste like it came from Brooklyn or NYC for that matter.

I was so utterly disappointed in their "stuffed" pizza. We have been looking forward to trying this for months. First of all, there was a severe lack of toppings on the Brooklyn Bomber stuffed pizza. They were sparse. The pizza itself was so flat, despite it being described as literally two pizzas. The pizza was way too thin to be even closely worth the price. The amount of pure crust on this was incredible- I would say that the rolled up crust was literally almost 30-40% of the pizza we received. I have some hope that perhaps ours was made by an angry employee or something- hopefully not their typical presentation. When picking it up, the employee was basically complaining about the time it takes to make this pizza/ the hassle of it. I truly hope that was just one sour employee because if it truly is an item that employees don't take pride in / want to present correctly, it really shouldn't be on the menu. Particularly as the pizza costs $45! We were extremely disappointed to say the least. The only silver lining being that the crust did have a decent flavor so at least the large "pizza bones" weren't horrible to take care.

5-25: Brighton Location. Today I had 2 slices of pepperoni which are cooled and reheated. From 3-5 they run a special of buy 1 slice get the second free. Excellent promotion to use up the pizza that was made and not sold before the dinner rush. It was good! 6.7 Then ordered a large plain pizza to go, which took about 10 minutes. The crust, the sauce, the hotness of the pie cooked my mouth, which was to be expected, since I must enjoy as many slices as possible before it gets cool. OUTSTANDING, crisp, texture, chewiness, sweetness to the sauce, and a quality mozzarella. Perfectly cooked, and friendly clean environment. Great Job staff!

I would have liked this pizza place better if I was not charged over $20 for 3 slices of pizza. The pizza does not have the same taste as true Brooklyn pizza and was overcooked with individual slices sitting for much time before serving. I wish I could write a better review but this place was definitely not worth $20 bucks for 3 slices.

My first step in, the smell was classic and inviting. I was excited to experience this place for the first time. I saw two gloomy workers who didn't seem to want to be there and one of them didn't even know the price of a slice, let alone any questions about their double layer Brooklyn Bomber pizza which I saw on the internet and drove 2 hours to try. The pizza, being nearly $50 was a huge disappointment. The crust was the majority of the slice and the toppings were skimpy. I tried to make some small talk about the big pizza, and the maker just frowned and said the pizza takes 45 minutes to make. I bet their normal pizzas are delicious and wish that was my first experience with them. They should just remove this double layer pizza if they hate making them so much and make them sub par.

This gotta be worst waste of $81 ever. Being a transplant from Buffalo and not finding any good pizza around here in 7 years I was excited when I was recommended Joes. I literally got a dry pie of crust ( Supposed be steak pizza). Whoever thought it’s a good idea to sell baked chicken wings with pizza should be fired. Garlic Romano baked wings in a no. (Looked white tasted worst). This is from the Brighton location. Not sure how they have 3 but it Rochester I guess.

Workers were unaware of contents of gluten free pizza crust (checking for allergy). Picked it up and a gluten free pizza and knots (3) was $40. The knots are best compared to bagels in terms of density and taste and they didn’t even provide marinara. The worst knots I’ve ever had. Will not be returning. The pizza also lacks any sauce under the cheese.

We were hankering for some New York style pizza, and Joe's didn't quite hit the spot. The crust is a but, um, floppy. Oh, the double-thick stuffed pizza *is * quite impressive -- it is h e a v y ! It might to TOO heavy. LOL.
