"Situated on the first floor of a beautiful period palazzo, this restaurant recalls the style of a winter garden, where natural daylight, greenery and pretty floor tiles all contribute to the attractive setting. Here, Marco Martini creates imaginative cuisine (with occasionally surprising combinations) that nonetheless remains influenced by the gastronomic traditions of Rome, not so much in the recipes used but in the chef’s love for intense flavours that leave the palate completely satisfied." - Michelin Inspector

"Marco Martini Restaurant at The Corner Townhouse Rome is famous for its ancient architecture and kaleidoscopic sunsets, but most locals know romance blooms in quiet corners far from the tourist stampede. Enter: The Corner, an 11-room boutique townhouse hotel. The townhouse grounds include an elevated terrace where you’ll find a stained-glass gazebo (backdrop for a lounge bar) and an ivy-covered garden-house restaurant (the perfect spot to kick off an evening tryst). Chef Marco Martini just earned a star in Rome’s Michelin galaxy for his culinary creations, which he pairs with equally stellar cocktails."

Man was I really impressed with this one Michelin Star Restaurant. Usually they are hot or miss. This was a big big hit! The food was amazing a beautiful. We got the ten course for around 190 euros total. The meals were all cohesive, beautiful, unique, and delicious. The service was amazing and they ever gave you a few items to take home. Left extremely full and would save one of the best bangs for the buck. Can’t wait to go back next time we are in Rome.

The service was excellent, atmosphere was clean and inviting, and the food was quite enjoyable. Marco puts a unique spin on several different Roman classics. Most enjoyable were the carbonara egg (part of the chef's welcome), oxtail tiramisu, cuttlefish tagliatelle, and turbot saltimbocca (which I forgot to photograph). I didn't do a full pairing, but I did enjoy a prosecco, white, and mild red throughout the meal that paired nicely with each phase. Some portions of the meal were just a bit less enjoyable. I found the tortello to be the least interesting/flavorful, though the sauce saved them from being overly dry. Overall, the experience was great and I would recommend a stop at Marco Martini Roma.

Every time I visit Marco Martini Restaurant, the dishes manage to surprise me in every way. Some are playful nods to classic favorites—but in the best possible sense! It’s also refreshing to find such creative and genuinely tasty vegetarian options, which aren’t easy to come by. What really stands out is the way the food honors simplicity and local ingredients, yet is presented with exceptional care and refinement. The flavors feel rooted and honest, while the presentation elevates them to something truly special. The wine list is equally impressive, with carefully selected bottles that pair wonderfully with the dishes. The staff is happy to suggest perfect pairings, which makes the whole experience feel even more curated and enjoyable. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between elegance and comfort—you instantly feel at ease. The terrace is gorgeous and definitely envy-worthy, and the service goes above and beyond: attentive, professional, and clearly a well-coordinated team that really makes you feel pampered. Overall, dining here feels like a treat for all senses: inventive, thoughtful, and consistently satisfying. Marco Martini is a restaurant I always look forward to returning to.

Food was modern and inventive, although we did not love every dish. Service was attentive and helpful. The atmosphere was intimate, but cold. The doors were left open and the breeze from outside was uncomfortably chilly. The venue itself is charming. We loved all the plants. Of note, the 'Empathy' tasting menu lasted us almost 4 hours. We were exhausted (and very full) by the end of our night. Overall, we expected better given its 1 star and the price (~€435 for 2).

Can 100% recommend. The food was creative and inventive and it was absolutely delightful trying all the different dishes that kept coming out of the kitchen. Service was excellent as well, friendly, attentive without „overservicing“ which created a great atmosphere and made for a splendid evening. Oh, last but not least, it tasted delicious.

Great food and price. The piglet was generous and extra crispy. The ravioli was delicious and fresh on the spot, my only comment is the broth is too watery and I would have liked to see a vegan colored broth. The meat tartar is great but also broth was simple. The welcome carbonara egg was amazing and nice. The passion fruit dessert was perfect with parika meringue.
