Worst hibachi I have ever been to. We had 9 people at one table. Worst service ever. The lady that took the order was rude and seemed mad at every person there. The kids we brought hot to watch the kids at the next table have a great time with their chef. Ours didn't say anything other than read our orders back to us. I said I wanted medium, and I got well at best. Do not waste your time. Just go to a fast good place.

The food and the chef were really good. However, our waiter was not. He wasn't friendly and helpful but in the end was a little bit attentive. The restaurant is nice but I kinda miss some Asian music. It's somehow expensive but worth it.

Okay first off, the restaurant is beautiful!!! Gorgeous atmosphere. And the staff is incredible. We've been twice now and everyone is incredibly friendly and accommodating. And the food!! Heavenly. Beautiful presentation! If you can, please go! It's a wonderful dining experience.

Spider roll is incredible. The place as a whole is beautiful and service is always friendly.

Always passed by but today was the day. I seen the site online and was excited. I went inside and wow very nice decoration and lighting along with comfy seating and fresh air. As I was looking at the menu I was surprised with so many choices I made my selection in pictures. Everything tasted amazing I recommend if you get a chance try it out. Thanks -CY

Lovely restaurant with good food, a modern atmosphere and great service.

We got takeout from Ambrosia. This was our first time here. The interior is really impressive and looks like a great place to go for a date. The sushi rolls were tasty, probably the best quality sushi in Greeley. The wonton soup was ok but we added salt and was better, more flavorful. I didn't try the fried dumplings. Husband ate them all, said they were ok. We'll come back when we have another craving for Asian food.

We found this place in a search for Asian restaurants in Greeley as we were headed to the stampede. We decided to try the hibachi. When we went, the restaurant was relatively empty. There was a couple we sat with that said it was unusually empty. Even the chef and the gentleman who cleaned the grill said it is unusual. On normal days, there is a long line to get a seat for the hibachi. There are 8 grills in the room and plenty of seating. I ordered a Long Island Ice Tea. Oftentimes I have had them where the bartender didn't make it right. But, if you look at the picture, it certainly looks correct, and the taste confirmed it as well. Very well made, correct measurements, just enough cola. The chef was very entertaining! He interacted with the little ones well. For wife and I, as well as the gentleman we were sitter near with his family, the chef had a bottle of sake where he squeezed a stream of it into our mouths. He also did a vegetable flip from his spatula into our mouths. Of course the person it is going to actually has to make the effort to catch it. The food itself was delicious! I don't live near Greeley, but I would make the trip here again easily just to eat here again. This place is great! I cannot recommend it enough.

Wonderful food and I love the Japanese yum-yum sauce. I had the chrome and crab for my meal with fried rice.

We went for my daughters birthday and this place hasn't been the same since Covid. We waited for half an hour yet had a reservation. Our cook had no personality, did not put on the usual show and rushed through cooking our food, my wifes steak was over cooked yet she asked for medium. My daughter was sick the same night and after learning this place failed a health inspection we wont be going back. The manager argued with us when we brought up the discrepancies. Poor Management, poor service, poor food.

So impressed with our Hibachi Grill experience! First of all it was like a well oiled machine, from seating our group of ten, getting our drinks and quickly taking our orders. Andreas was on on top of our every need besides being very friendly! Our chef Leo was phenomenal as well, so entertaining, engaging and attentive with the little ones! Our meals were perfect well. Thank you Andreas and Leo for a great night!

Sushi at its best. So fresh and flavorful. The green curry with was just the right blend of veggies and fat shrimp. Can't wait to try more of the extensive menu.

First time visiting. Atmosphere was really great for dates. Food was delicious. Our waiter was very attentive. We will definitely visit again.

Went for lunch and had delicious sushi that was quick and fresh. Order came with salad or soup and both the side salad and the miso soup were delicious!

One of the best Asian restaurants in Northern Colorado. Our go to for potstickers. My husband likes the, sesame scallops and I get the veggie stirfry with tofu or Pad tai. The owner Ivy is lovely and really cares about her customers. Family run business. Super clean lots of tables and fast service.

The basil scallops and sushi are delicious. It's hard to find good food in Colorado when you have lived in Las Vegas spoiled by great food at every turn. The food and service was great, very tasty.

Hibachi can be hit or miss. You either have done well food or high quality dog food. Fortunately Ambrosia is the former. Entertaining chefs and top quality cuisine. I order the filet and lobster combo most often (since according to my kids, I am bouchée) tender filet and flavorful lobster. Expect a mouthful of sake as part of the fun and maybe a broccoli toss in your mouth catch game. Onion volcanoes are standard at these types of grills but the additional interactions the chef have with you put it over the top. Priced right and quick service means you'll be back. Extra tip: order some sushi rolls as an appetizer if you have room... some really good rolls available. You'll be stuffed at the gills but smiling nonetheless.

The service was very convenient and efficient and our chef was very outgoing and fun to have cook for us. The only complaint was the portion sizes but overall a very great experience. Would go again.

This is an amazing local Asian restaurant. Staff is very helpful. We eat here often. The vegetables are plentiful & fresh. Nice ambience as well.

Great food but service during the daytime, especially in the bar area has a lot to be desired. The young gentleman who waited on us had the personality of a porcupine doormat. He truly made us feel like we were bothering him by walking in the door. When we walked in, there was absolutely no one sitting in the bar area, but we chose to sit there. Is attitude never improved. We paid our bill and left. It's so sad that waiters and restaurant staff act that way. We won't be back! Nor will I recommend this place.

Having not been here for an age, I was pleasantly surprised at the transformation. It is a lovely restaurant and suitable for a romantic dinner. The Mexican restaurant left and it was included in the redecoration, expanding their space by a factor of two. And the new space is set up with hibachi tables which I hope to try in the future They have low carb sushi options ( wrapped in cucumber- which is the only place I have seen in Greeley that actively lists low carb. Bravo! My sashimi deluxe was quite good sushi- greeley is not a haven for sushi- so I am not comparing it to coastal options. The tempura my husband had was tasty, though his fried rice seemed to be mainly soy sauce and rice with no little bits of flavorful veggies.

We ordered 2 sushi rolls, my wife and I tried 1 of each and we didn't like either of them which is perfectly fine. When we presented that we didn't like either of our rolls with only 2 missing each, they still charged us full price. They didn't offer a discount or compensation. My wife eats there regularly and usually doesn't have an issue with their food, so to not be taken care of put a sour taste in our mouth from the service. Charging full price for food we didn't like and barely touched doesn't feel like taking care of your customers.

The food was good. It was a bit expensive and the service was a little slower than what we are use to.

2 nights in a row ALL HITS! NO misses! Props to the dine in side!!!! Definitely highly recommend!! WILL be coming back soon!!!

Took a party of 6 for a birthday celebration, we heard great things about their sushi. We were seated immediately and received service for placing our food and drink order. We ordered a couple of entrees and 3 sushi roll plates. The entrees came and we were told it would be another couple of minutes on the sushi. As we waited, we inquired about the remainder of our meal 3 additional times, always assured it would be right out. Finally 35 MINUTES after our entrees were served to part of the table, we canceled the remainder that had not YET BEEN STARTED!! We were given an excuse that they thought it was for take out? The birthday person ended up with zero food, so very disappointed. I would not recommend.

The hibachi chef only prepared the food and did none of the theatrics that we go to hibachi restaurant for. We were also celebrating a birthday and they did absolutely nothing for it, but when it came time for the check, they made sure they added an 18% gratuity as an automatic charge. Food is awesome , but the service not so much...

Very good food. I was sad the dinner didn't include a egg roll or soup. They service was great and the atmosphere is pretty cool. From the outside the place doesn't look too good but once inside it's gorgeous. Brian gave phenomenal service. He was so nice and answered all our questions and if he didn't have the answer he made sure to find out in a timely manner. I would recommend this place for sure.

A wholehearted recommendation. So glad to see this place has flourished in the years since I've been gone. This is not an easy town to keep a restaurant thriving in. The new hibachi is every bit as good as any place I've tried in Denver and the service is awesome. I'll be looking forward to my next visit home for sure.

A hidden gem in Greeley. I've been to this restaurant several times, a few for lunch and several for dinner. Very delicious and delightful! We had a variety of different foods and loved all of them. The egg drop soup was hot and tasteful, a little salty but still good. The salad came with a home made sauce that reminded me of peanut sauce. The beef with broccoli has an amazing sauce! The jalapeño steak was very succulent and spicy stir fry. Tender steak tips. The sushi was good. Got three rolls for a very good price! Fresh fish!! Highly suggested and recommend :)

Everything was absolutely delicious. The service could have been a smidge better but it was busy and sometimes that happens. Definitely will visit again

Usually have had great experiences but most recently did not have one...party of 7, 6 received their meals, 1 did not and actually never did. The missing entree was the same item ordered as one other guest. Waitress was not forthcoming with what happened, possibly had a manager come over and give the explanation that they "only serve fresh food and may have run out" but also watched multiple other tables receive their food. Was offered a 20% discount on the item "to-go" but who knows when we would have received the food--we were there for over an hour; never had drinks refilled but they offered to compensate the 2 sodas we did order. Unfortunately not impressed!

Always Great service, food, and ambiance. Never a long wait even when they're busy. Love their sushi!

Family goes there every few months and it is always delicious. Salad dressing is a favorite of ours, as it the wanton soup. We always get the shrimp and filet mignonette combo and it is flavorful and so filling we take 1/2 home with us. They are always open on holidays too.

Anytime large quantities of Saki gets squirted in my mouth before I eat dinner, is always a good time! I love how the chef entertains and cooks quality meals at the same time. These 2 are prerequisites for having a successful Hibachi Grill. Prices here are decent and the food here is good. Staff is very attentive and cooks are fun.

As of now, Ambrosia isn't allowing in-person dining. No biggie! They are super fast with take-out. You call in and your order is ready in around 15-20 minutes. No matter how large! I like the teriyaki chicken with fried rice. Everyone else gets shrimp fried rice. They says it's great. I don't eat seafood so it is what it is. Their veggie rolls are really good as is the hot and sour soup. I don't get it but they have tiramisu as a dessert option. I don't know where they buy it but it's standard. Oh, creme brûlée too. Nope - no Italian entrees on the menu

One of the best hibachi restaurants in the area. Busy during dinner but the wait is worth it. Food has always been great and chefs are entertaining.

It's kind of a mixed bag when you come here.. it's either amazing food and service or subpar food and service. Unfortunately, I think we have had subpar more than anything. It is very clean and fast, however I'd rather have the food be more consistent.

I'm told the waiter that I needed some gluten free options and he brought me my food and honestly I was sick before I even left the restaurant I will not be going back.

In an effort to expand our horizons we decided to try a different, but well established, sushi joint. We were greeted relatively quickly at the host stand...then waited 10 minutes for a table in their mostly empty dinning room. Drinks arrived fairly quick then the waiter disappeared for a looong time. Eventually we ordered various pieces of sushi and one hot appetizer. Then the wait.... We were in the restaurant for 1 hour and 20 minutes before any food arrived. And, our appetizer showed up after we had finished all of the sushi. Sushi was tasteless. Potstickers were delicious. If you go...plan extra time and maybe bring a snack.

Really good sushi, their hibachi grill is a really fun. A bit pricey, but I'll still go for the food and entertainment.

I was going here with a large group. I called ahead to make sure they could accommodate gluten and dairy free allergy. They assured me they could. We went last night and sat for hibachi. The staff let me know hibachi isn't gluten free and I would need to order off the regular menu. I was very happy they could still make me some good. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped me order. I got the ambrosia duck with steamed rice. It was so yummy and a lot of food. I didn't once feel left out from the group. Oh I had tuna sashimi and it was good. Hubby had steak and shrimp hibachi and he said it was really good. Prices were good also. Lots of parking, clean bathrooms and great customer service. We will be back.

Here we were, Christmas Eve night looking for a place for dinner and decided on Ambrosia because we wanted sushi. The parking lot was full but decided to try anyways. The wait was approximately 20 minutes but it was worth it. The main dining room was amazing with decor. Who started off with appetizers on shumai and coconut chicken soup. Both were amazing. We had 4 specialty rolls with some purple haze sake. We recommend the dynamite roll and the Spider-Man roll. They even have low carb sushi rolls. We will definitely be going back.

Yum yum yum. Everyone in our large party was happy. I had tofu with peanut sauce. It was out of this world. A friend had curry, and came back another night for more curry! The person who ordered sushi loved it. Great place. Reasonable prices.

This lovely Asian restaurant has it all as far as Asian food goes. When you first walk in there's a bar for all your happy hour needs. Then to the right you can get Japanese style hibachi. Complete with the cooking show at the table and that yummy, yum yum sauce. If you were to continue tip the back you arrive at the traditional Chinese food section where you can order from a huge selection of Chinese and Thai dishes. And of course in any of these areas you can order fresh prepared sushi. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Shumai was terrible but the sushi was half decent. Overall not too bad but could be better, service was good.

Everyone I work with who I've asked for eating recommendations in Greeley all pointed to Ambrosia. Enticed by the name (ambrosia means food of the gods!) I decided to give it a try. To start, the menu is huge! They offer all type of asian food, from thai to chinese to a little bit of vietnamese. It took me a while to decide but I finally ordered 2 meals to go, one for dinner and one for lunch the next day for work. I ordered 10 minutes ahead, which was just enough time. Talk about efficiency! When I walked in to pick up my order, I was impressed by the inside. Very swanky and chic! It was very spacious and well decorated. It looked like a fancy sushi place where my coveralls and I did not fit in. I got the hot & sour soup, the chili roll and ambrosia shrimp. The hot & sour soup was really good- it could have been a little more spicy for me but I finished it all in one sitting. I was originally going to eat half so I could save my stomach space for the chili roll but I accidentally ate it all. The chili roll was also very good- salmon and spicy tuna rolled in imitation crab. Full of flavor! It says it's spicy but it's not that spicy- there is only a few dabs of sriracha on each piece so don't worry. The ambrosia shrimp was also really good. If you're looking for leftovers, this is the dish. It marinates the shrimp for longer, making it more tasty and there are a plethora of veggies from asparagus to red/yellow peppers to peas! For next time, I asked the cashier what her favorites were and she said she loved the sesame chicken and orange chicken (beware she said they are pretty much identical so don't order both of them). Another thing she said was that the chicken lomein was off the charts!

Hibachi is awesome! Or choose to give from the regular menu. Food is delicious! Atmosphere is great!

Food was just ok nothing special to write home about. Had sushi, Sashimi, sake and noodles. The service was the worse. Came in stood by front door waiting to be seated. It was not busy at all but no one greeted including a guy sitting and playing on his phone. It's nicely decorated.
