"A Classic Affair When you dine at Jimmy's Kitchen, bear in mind that you're enjoying something that has been a part of Hong Kong 's history for over 80 years. The restaurant claims that more business deals have been signed here than in any boardroom in the city. Famous classic movie stars like Cary Grant and William Holden have also graced this Central dining institution with their presence. The dim lighting and classic interiors will whisk you away to another time as you enjoy traditional British dishes like bangers and mash and chicken kiev. The Lobster bisque is also a customer favorite. When you're here, don't just eat - learn the Jimmy's Kitchen story and see for yourself how history has influenced the restaurant in the decades past."

Which Minneapolis and St. Paul Patios Are Open Right Now, Summer 2020 | Eater Twin Cities

"I found their patio is currently open with tables sometimes placed on existing patios, in parking lots, or on sidewalks; guests are asked to wear masks and all staff will be masked, with precautions in place—check with the restaurant for individual days and hours. Studies suggest lower exposure risk when dining outdoors, but that benefit depends on restaurants following strict social distancing and other safety guidelines." - Joy Summers

This is my 2nd time visiting jimmys kitchen, and the dining experience is just amazing. we went for casual dinner without reservation after picking up the wedding dress in central. Receptionist Hailey noticed it and treated us with surprise champagne! Service from our table waiter Louise and another lady in short hair is also extremely accommodating. The lamp rack i ordered was perfectly cooked and one of the best I have ever had. At last they even treated us with surprise dessert and message card sending their blessing. Jimmy’s kitchen got once of the best service and foods are really delicious considering its pricing. Definitely worth high rating and will come back for sure!

Absolutely above standard in terms of food, and atmosphere! It's a great business lunch choice. Wellington beef and the beef toast are outstanding at our recent dinner. We celebrated birthday with the baked Alaska ice cream...really nice!!

even BRUCE LEE DINED here???celebrating nearly a century of culinary excellence, jimmy‘s kitchen is bk in a fresh space at pedder building since last yr - serving up classic, beloved dishes like the famous madras curry & the wkend tradition of sunday roast, all w a unique hk twist. 𖦹 king crab leg $248 𖦹 angus beef minced on toast $188 𖦹 prawn cocktail $178 𖦹 fried camembert $128 𖦹 french onion soup $138 𖦹 beef wellington $1128 𖦹 seasonal vegetables $88 𖦹 crepe suzette $148 star of the show HAD TO BE the beef wellington!!! js look at its pinkish interior omg soo tender…. complemented so well w the crunchy pastry yet the mushrooooom filling was quite strong tht kinda overpowered the steak. for the starters PLS get the fried camembert & onion soup! the fried cheese had an interesting texture & the soup was super rich & cheesy! since we were too full so we js shared a dessert - the crepe suzette thts off menu bt rec by a staff! loved the fancy FIRE performance & the balanced sweet/sourness of the orange sauce.

Food: Tried the signature jimmy breakfast sandwich and it doesn't require a long waiting time. The sandwich is served as a bun and with plenty of ingredients (melted Cheddar cheese and hash brown), it's quite delicious and very American style. Regarding the coffee served, it was just normal one and do not leave me a very good impression. Value: It would be very great if the price is under hundred dollars and I would expect a bit more for this price such as more side dishes. Design and Dining experience: The atmosphere and all the designs are very fantastic and has a great time here watching people passing by the peddar street. The level and standard of interior design is very astonishing as understanding the building is over 100 years. In the meantime, the service quality makes me very satisfied as the prompt actions and greetings are all well trained.

Absolute classic and proper place. Food is awesome, comfort and well plated. Such an interesting variety of choices from a curry to a Sunday roast (Saturdays / Sundays)?

Still very good, the dishes taste like they used to, but many are... better. The madras curry is spicier, which i liked. The borscht soup has a little spicy kick to it, which I also liked. The chicken Kiev was good, but I did like the old one better. The bread also is just a sweet roll now. I miss the big plate of bread to choose from. I'm sad they don't have the satellite dessert anymore, but the new baked Alaska is WAY better than the old one. That was delicious.

Was here for dinner on a weeknight. Unfortunately there was not enough of staff working that night and everything was a long wait. Food was average. Onion soup was quite salty.
