I had a good lunch here, the place is clean and comfy. The service is good and fast. The beef tartar is delicious, the bibimbab with beef tartar also great. The ramen also tasty and perfectly cooked.

When you walk to the front, you can add your Korean phone number or email (for foreigners) to save your spot in line, the last few times I went the wait was max 20 minutes During that time It’s best to know what you want to order so that when you’re seated they will take your order right away. The food arrives before you even get a second to take your jacket off Food coms with kimchi as your side and soup. Both so simple but so rich in flavour. The raw beef is the best thing on this planet. You know when there’s only one kind of item on the menu it’s gonna be GOOD. The raw beef also pairs perfectly with their sesame oil salt, it’s so fragrant I’ve never tasted sesame oil like that ever Also an option to get take out, where they also pack the kimchi, soup, and other sides for you Very affordable as well. Restaurant is small and tight, best for groups of 2-3.

Didnt expect myself to like it but I did! Ordered the beef tartare bibimbap for 10000won which is very value for money in my opinion! The beef is not tough at all, and the sesame oil elevated the dish. This store is popular due to its Michelin status and the wait was long (I wait 40mins for a solo diner during dinner hours), I have not tried other shops to know if the wait is justified though.

The food is good and fresh. I love the free beef soup also. The price is so reasonable. First time I try raw beef but everything so nice

This time, I went on Sunday evening. I scanned the QR code to get in line, and we were contacted about an hour later. We ordered Yukhoe & Nakjitangtangyi (육회 & 낙지탕탕이) and Gan & Cheonyeop (간 & 천엽) for three people. As expected, everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. I’ll definitely come back again.

Honestly, I get why everyone has to order a portion at Buchon Yukhoe, but it’s a lot of food !! 🥹 I got sick of eating halfway instead of enjoying it. Waiting time was about an hour too….

Must visit in Seoul. Bibimbap is so fresh and tasty, I can understand why they are on the Michelin guide for many years. Surprisingly cheap for its quality as well.

Buchon Yukhoe is an absolute gem! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating to our big group, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. They even went out of their way to help us when we accidentally left something behind—super honest and thoughtful service! The food was top-notch too. The beef yukhoe was so fresh and tender, with that perfect balance of flavor and texture. The octopus was also really nice—chewy yet not too tough, and full of flavor. Overall, it was an amazing experience with great food and exceptional service. Highly recommend for anyone craving quality Korean dishes!
