From the moment we walked into Rosa Blanca in Allentown until the moment we left, we felt truly welcomed by every member of the staff — including Chef Kourtney herself. Our servers, Ashon and Rob, were absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, and despite the restaurant being packed, the two of them managed the entire floor flawlessly. Every table was attended to, service was smooth, and they kept the place spotless. They are definitely a fantastic team! A special shoutout to Ashon, who made the best coffee, and to Chef Kourtney, who personally came out to check on us. She even surprised us with a heavenly crème brûlée French toast with cream and guava syrup — truly something else! That dish alone is worth the visit. The hospitality here was incredible. We felt genuinely cared for and welcomed, and the food was outstanding. We took photos of our dishes, but trust me… the pictures don’t do them justice. If you’re thinking about visiting this place, don’t think too hard — just go! You won’t regret it.

Great small restaurant in Allentown’s downtown. We loved the experience. The food was absolutely wonderful. We could tell it was fixed by a cheff. A had paisa pork which was like chicharron but it appears it had been marinated in a garlic mix. Awesome. My wife had chicharron that was also well prepared with great flavor and a salad.

I checked out this spot earlier this year. The food I had was excellent. However, I did find the meat in the sandwich a touch dry. The dessert was probably the least impressive thing I ate, because I felt like the shavings were unnecessary. However, the entire meal was much better than much of what other Allentown establishments offer. The service was good and I felt like the time it took to prepare the food was rather reasonable. I would come here again and encourage others to do as well.

My husband and I finally got to try this place today and I have to say we were really disappointed. We are foodies and have seen the caliber of chef (on TV) that the owner is so we just expected so much more. There was only 4 tables when we arrived, and all were done eating, but it still took 10 minutes to get 2 drinks. After we ordered, 2 different people confirmed we didn't get our food 30 minutes after we ordered. Our food finally arrived and my husband said there was nothing Cuban about his sandwich. My brunch said fried eggs and they were more poached at best. The plantains were only seared on one side and the beans taste like they came from the can. I cannot believe an Iron Chef is OK with his servers wearing a doo rag. Some random guy came off the street in crocks and shorts, then asked the table in front of us if they were done eating and took their plates. This was one of the oddest, certainly unprofessional, dining experiences we've had.

My husband and I ate here for the first time and really enjoyed it. I ordered the Rosa Bowl he ordered the Paisa Pork. Lots of flavor! The drinks were very interesting and amazing. The espresso martini with the cream was unbelievable. Our server, Yaya, was excellent as well. Very friendly and knowledgeable. We’ll definitely be back.

Worst and most underwhelming dining experience in a while. Server and hostess were completely careless and indifferent to our party of 2. Only person that greeted us, checked on us, or even looked our way was THE BARTENDER!!! Even with a full bar of people, he took the time to see if anyone had checked in with us, took a few drink orders, and even an appetizer. No one else gave us the time of day. Maduros were overcooked and everything was lacking some dimension (acid, salt, umami, etc). Drinks were great. Perhaps brunch is not their forte and the only reason we'd return to give dinner a chance is because of the bartender and the drinks. If you're going to gentrify the city, at least do it correctly.

The lights were amazing and fun to see. The Grinch was awesome and in great character. The train ride was good but the smell was making us sick .

The food is alright. The smoked ham croquettes are good. The dips we had were alright but I wouldn’t get them again. If you’re Hispanic and you see chicharrón in the menu it’s not what you think it is, it’s chicharrón chips.. and disappointing ones. I’m Dominican and the guasacaca is not guasacaca at all, it’s not even remotely close to the taste of it. The cubano does not taste like a Cuban sandwich at all but it was not bad sandwich, my fiancé said he would order it again. But if you order it craving a Cuban sandwich, it doesn’t taste like it. The drinks I ordered I think were supposed to have alcohol but they didn’t. I ordered 2 mojitos and my fiancé ordered an espresso martini and a Cuba libre.. the Cuba libre had a sprinkle of rum so maybe order that. At the end of our meal we ordered a cafecito and a cortadito and they were both very good. The service was also very welcoming and the restaurant is very pretty and different. I hope that with time the food will have seasoning and the drinks will have alcohol. But I’ll be back for the service, croquetas, and the coffee. Then I’ll try the rest of the menu and hope it has seasonings.
