This is one of the greatest things you can experience in NOLA. Robert quite literally brought Italy to city park! The Gondola, Bella Mae, is an authentic Gondola from Italy. Robert’s story is amazing and I can’t thank him enough for creating the opportunity for people to experience this in the city.

We booked a gondola ride to celebrate a special anniversary in December. Everything was easy to book and was promptly confirmed. Robert made the experience amazing and even better than our already high expectations! We chose the sunset gondola ride and were able to experience the local wildlife, peace of cruising serene waters in the beautiful gondola, a majestic sunset and the spectacle of Christmas lights in City Park. We would highly recommend this experience any time of year!

Unique experience in New Orleans. When you meet someone who truly loves what they do, is rare, it was a pleasure to meet Robert and Bella Mae(gondola). My mom and I loved going through Big Lake and passing under the bridges, seeing the huge oak trees, ducks and turtles.

It was amazing and relaxing taking this gondola ride along the New Orleans Museum of Art and looking at their art while enjoying a peaceful gondola ride. It was perfect weather as well to go around 6pm. It was great to hear his story of how he brought the one and only gondola ride to New Orleans and how he’s survived while facing adversity throughout the years to continue to bring everyone a memorable gondola experience! It’s perfect for special occasions as well like wedding proposals! He’s witnessed over 800 on that gondola alone!

We got married on the gondola prior to the ride. It was nice, peaceful and beautiful scenery of City Park. A portion of the ride allows you to enjoy some of sculpture park. The Italian music is a nice touch to the experience. Robert is fantastic and would definitely ride again when we find ourselves back in the area.
