At Ferrari’s Little Italy & Bakery, there’s a calm, welcoming confidence the moment you sit down. You can tell right away this kitchen knows exactly what it’s doing and has for a long time. From the first bite, everything tasted genuinely from scratch. Nothing felt trendy or overthought. The food just tastes right, like it’s been made the same way for years because it already works. We started with the stuffed mushrooms, and they were fantastic. Like after the first bite I wanted to just sit there and savor that bite. It was stuffed with Spinach and cheese, cooked just right, brought together in a buttery sauce that makes the whole dish come together. Comforting, flavorful, and hard to stop eating. The salad was better than you’d expect from a starter. The blue cheese was generous, especially if you love gorgonzola, and it balanced perfectly with the greens, pine nuts, sweet dried fruit, and balsamic dressing. Every bite made sense. The lasagna was the star. Huge portion, clearly made with care, with great layers and a rich, well-built sauce. I took home half and still felt like I got my money’s worth. Two people could easily split it and walk away happy. Dessert was the tiramisu, and it was excellent. Light, not too sweet, with that cocoa and coffee finish that keeps it balanced. I ate a whole piece as it was light enough, but you could easily split it and enjoy it and be satisfied. However, you might just get two as the server did tell me that although they would share alot of things they "won't share that!" And I would have to agree with her it was every bit of that kind of perfection. Service matched the food. My server has been here over 20 years and treats everyone like family. Professional, friendly, and genuinely attentive without being overbearing. This is the kind of place you recommend without hesitation. Solid food, generous portions, great service, and an atmosphere that feels comfortable and confident enough to bring someone you cared about without feeling too stuffy. If you’re on the fence, don’t be. We drove over 30 minutes because of the recommendation and it was worth the drive. You should come here at least once but you will come back.

The atmosphere was phenomenal, and the food was absolutely incredible—authentic Italian at its finest. This is truly one of the best Italian restaurants in the city, if not the best. The customer service was top-notch from start to finish. The Shrimp Scampi was outstanding, and the fettuccine alfredo topped with salmon was amazing. Even the Ferrari’s house salad was exceptional. You really cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. An amazing evening at an excellent local spot—thank you for such a wonderful experience!

I'm a big fan of Italian food, and this is one of the spots that I will probably come back to. The atmosphere in the restaurant was nice and pleasant, the staff was very friendly and welcoming, the wine and food were fantasticas well. I ordered Pollo basilica which I liked and my daughter also enjoyed from the leftovers :). The tiramisu for desert tastes authentic and delicious and was paired great with the espresso I ordered with it.

My first time experiencing this adorable authentic hidden gem was definitely one to remember. There are so many positive things I could say but I’ll start with the atmosphere. Once you walk in, you’re immediately drawn to desserts display in the front (blueberry lemon cake was to die for), then all the other aromas start to awaken your senses. It reminds me of a little piece of Italy as the name suggests. The restaurant is so adorable and cozy . It has an authentic Italian vibe with an intimate romantic touch to it. The food. *chefs kiss* you’re served real bread with oil before your meal and every meal Is huge. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food they give you, everything was seasoned to perfection. The plates have to be carried with two hands, doesn’t matter what you get it’ll be worth every penny spent. Our waitress was a sweetheart, and made sure we had everything we needed plus more. We had a large party of over 25( graduation party) and they served us well I will be back for more.

For a family gathering of 8, including 2 out of towners from the North on a cold 23° Winter night in January, we were seated in a back private room with no special reservations made. There was a fire going that faced two adjacent rooms that made it a very warm, enjoyable and a memorable experience. The ambiance indoors was incredible. The large portion of beef lasagna was more than enough for two meals. Always look forward to taking good food home. The Shrimp Calamari was awesome. Other dishes serve the table also looked amazing. A favorite place we always go back to. I commonly make special trips there to pick up salted rye bread for lunches for the work week. It's that good.

Visited for the first time for lunch today. I had the wedding soup and the eggplant parm. Hubby had the lasagne and a side of fettuccine Alfredo. Iced teas for two. The soup came out in a mug with soup spoon. While the soup was really delish, it was incredibly difficult to eat with the wide bowl of the spoon from a mug. The eggplant was three rounds, fried a little too heavily, over spaghetti with a fresh tomato sauce. The Alfredo was excellent, and the fettuccine was al dente (as it should be). The lasagne was the star of the show - great flavor, great texture, big portion. Once our food was delivered, no one checked on us (or refilled our teas at $3.50 each!) until the end of the meal and we had to ask for refills. The real show stopper at Ferrari’s is the bakery. On our way out we picked up a mini cannoli, slice of cheesecake, slice of limoncello cake, and a few cookies. All wonderful!!!

Stopped into Ferrari’s Little Italy and Bakery and ordered the mushroom ravioli in blushed sauce. Was it the kind of dish that makes you rethink your life choices? No. But it was flavorful, well put together, and definitely not a disappointment. The server knew the menu well and actually guided me through without that “uhh let me check with the kitchen” routine you get elsewhere. All in all, it’s a spot that delivers a good meal without the drama, and sometimes that’s exactly what you want.

Stopped in for a lunch date today for the first time. Everything about this place from the moment you arrive is warm, inviting, and beautiful. The bakery in the front of house fills the restaurant with the warm aroma of fresh bread. The dining area is very nice and the fireplaces add an amazing touch. Our waitress Terra was the sweetest person ever. We had the crab cake panini and the salmon BLT. Everything was spectacular on fresh bread. I cannot recommend them enough

This Italian gem is always amazing! My family and I have eaten here several times over the years and it has been consistent every time. The inside is so cute and well decorated. The huge fireplace in the first dining area is beautiful! The service is always friendly, fast and attentive. This past visit we got the bread for the table like always and it was fresh and delicious. We like that it is a selection of different breads from the bakery! I got the mushroom ravioli and it was incredible. My parents got the linguine carbonara to share. It was fantastic as well. Everything is very well-seasoned plated nicely. The portions are very large so the ability to share is nice. For dessert my parents got the spumoni and I got the toasted almond after-dinner coffee. I cannot wait to return the next time we are around Madeira!

First time having food at this establishment. We did carryout on New Year's eve. My wife can not have a long list of things. Including tomatoes and dairy, which eliminates a large portion of any Italian restaurant's menu. My wife reached out to Ferrari's and they were very responsive. Helping her make an informed decision on what to order. She settled on the Ferrari salad with salmon and I had the lasagna. Both dishes were very good. Large portions that made a second meal in the new year. The only issue was the menu wasn't clear on what came with a meal. We received a bag of a variety of breads with every meal. It was very good bread, but we had made our own because we didn't know we were getting it. Otherwise, I recommend stopping in and giving them a try.

I am writing to rate the Bakery five stars. The Carrot Cake and Coffee Cheesecake were OUTSTANDING!! The two - the restaurant and the bakery - should be listed separately. The amazing desserts in the Bakery are not available as desserts in the restaurant. To me that means they can't share a rating. My three star rating for the restaurant stands. Kudos to the Bakery!!

Fine Hard to find. We had a reservation and were led to a back table next to the emergency back exit. Which table would we have had if we just walked in? The parking lot? Service was fine. We told our waitress that we were not in a hurry,and yet, she apologized for the slow service. We were there for barely an hour Flavors were good. Fresh pasta and sauce I make the same sauce and pasta (fresh) at home

We love Ferrari's. Have been going for decades. Consistently awesome. You'll be stuffed from dinner, but don't skip on dessert! Their bakery is amazing!

I loved the outdoor patio. It was shady and the weather was perfect for an outdoor lunch. Our server was great. She was very patient as the different size options confused us. We ordered the chop salad and they were gracious enough to split it into two dishes for us. My husband had the eggplant parmigiana and I had the lasagna. The eggplant was crispy. I love it like that. The lasagna was delicious. We didn't save room for dessert.

I hosted 12 friends at Ferrari's Little Italy and Bakery on Friday, and it was epic, as usual. The atmosphere is comfortable and intimate. There was the complimentary bread -- an ever-changing sample of breads baked that day in their bakery (I absolutely love their rye). And the different appetizers -- the fried calamari and crab cakes seemed to be the hits there. And all the wonderful pasta dishes -- most notably the lasagna, tortellini and the salmon over angel hair pasta (their special of the night). One person even chose the pizza with the works, with a perfectly risen and moist crust!! The service was fantastic, the portions were huge, and you can tell that each dish was made with expertise and care. And to top it all off, we all ordered desserts to go from the bakery on the way out. Yes, the food was amazing, but it was the entire experience that consistently makes this restaurant special!

Visited for my daughter's birthday. Pros The patio is lovely Good service Half price cocktails on Sunday Kids eat free on Sunday Generous portions Great salads Cons My pasta aglio e oilo had grilled vegetables and a generous amount, but it was extremely bland. I addrd grilled chicken which seemed boiled rather than grilled. Even cracked black pepper, salt, and Parmesan didn't improve it. The stuffed sole had a very mushy texture and a strong fishy taste. The pollo basilico was ok. The chicken did not appear grilled more like boiled. Bottom line I was extremely disappointed with the food. Not sure I would recommend. Perhaps we ordered the wrong items.

Went there for the first time today. It was for a party. The anti pasta salad was amazing the chicken Marsala was off the hook. The service was top shelf except for the older woman working in the bakery tonight She had a really unpleasant disposition. Maybe her dog died today. Maybe she just wants to be miserable all of the time. Thank you to everyone else we encountered tonight though. You folks are the best

Always the best dining experience from the service to the delish food! My husband and I frequently celebrate our wedding anniversaries there.

A server can make or break a dining experience. For the first time ever at Ferrari's (and hopefully the last time), we had a bad server. First, his habit of using "we", "us", and "our" reaching the point of annoying. "What can I get us to drink?"; "Are we ready for our check?" - dude, if you're paying part of it, which i doubt, great, but please stop saying that. What would help would be if "we" were more attentive and refilled drinks, didn't leave "us" sitting in the sun outside waiting for "us" to come take the order. The food was good as always, everything came down to the server, who really needs lessons in serving and close supervision until he learns to speak properly and pay attention. He ("we") pretty much ruined what could have been a nice dining experience for "us". I understand the we/us/our thing happens, but taking it to the extreme like he did (every... single... sentence) was distracting, disingenuous, and pandering insincerity. I made note of his name and when we return (and we will - the food is excellent), "we" won't be asking for "us" as a server.

Sandwiches were huge and delicious. Very nice space. Megan, our bartender, was super attentive and nice. Very friendly staff! Loved it. Will recommend!

Bring your appetite as the portions are generous. You get to view potential desserts as you pass the bakery on the way to your table. We were part of a group of 5 couples. Our server was Liz. She was friendly, knowledgeable, attentive but not intrusive. My Vitello Scallopini with piccata sauce was 3 pieces of lightly breaded veal cutlets cooked to perfection. The piccata sauce featured capers and a zesty lemon after taste. It was served over a bed of spaghetti. We had Italian sausage and peppers as an appetizer that was delicious and used the fresh bread to enjoy the savory "gravy" on every plate. Perfect for eating half and having a take home meal the next day.

We live in Madeira and should go here so much more often then we do. Friday night dinner with friends. Great food and Chianti. Service was great. Portions are huge, you will take some home. You get a lot for your money. Mama's Lasagna was off the charts. They have a large bakery on site so your bread is fresh from the oven and desserts are perfecto. Highly recommended.

Five kinds of fresh bread in a basket on your table sound good? Well, that's how dinner starts. Amazing choices of fresh baked bread with rye being my choice. So, the rye bread had a salted crust and a soft light center to bring it all around. I selected the dinner special which was blackened salmon with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Clearly a chef selected choice as everything was pared well and had a great butter sauce over top the fish. Expertly prepared and seasoned. A! I tasted some dishes from my table mates that included the pesto chicken pasta dish and lasagna. Everything was amazing and full of flavor. Fresh ingredients and prepared with care. I will be back for sure! Service was prompt and pleasant, and Frank Sinatra was playing in the clean restrooms. Enjoy this hidden gem! Enjoy!

Wonderful time at this little restaurant. The ambiance was cute and quiet and service was wonderful. Our friend Rick who works there surprised us with dessert on the house so couldn't have asked for a better night. Food was wonderful and I would totally come back!

Very attentive staff , the light and fluffy bread to start a meal was delicious , and in our party we ordered margarita pizza with shrimp , and chicken Parmesan which was amazing . The ambiance was an Italian look decor - awesome ! Drinks , we ordered a sangria and le Ferrari . Delicious and smooth with amazing taste . To end it , we got bread from their bakery - reasonable sliced bread . Highly recommended, and we definitely will be back .

Very very good food. We went with what our server recommended and was not disappointed. The bread and oil they serve you before your order was fantastic as well. I would not get desserts or the meatballs again but the dinner was very delicious.

Very authentic Italian restaurant, the cranberry mule and toasted ravioli a great start, I got the fruit of the sea for dinner, amazing, I will be having leftovers for dinner tomorrow. Our Server was a lovely young lady. So sad I didn't take a picture of my bowl of sea food!

They offer single and shareable portions on almost all of their dishes, perfect for family style if you let them know you're sharing, they'll split the dish for you ! Ferraris is tucked away in the heart of Madeira, be sure to take advantage of their mystical patio in the summer! Also, ya gotta check out the bakery before you leave. Great service. Nice patio seating in the shade. Salad was fresh and delicious. The bread basket was good. I liked having different breads to sample. The tomato sauce was tasty. The smells in the bakery were so good.

I love this place. Cozy, down-home italian cooking. Ferrari's also does a lot to support local causes in the community, which I love.

The food is authentic Italian. The atmosphere is great. And don't forget to stop at the bakery when you're done enjoying your meal.

Great food and fantastic service. So many people shared taking care of us throughout our entire meal. We had homemade calamari, caesar salads, chicken Parmigiano and pasta Alfredo with added meatballs. It's all tasty and reasonably priced. Picked up desserts at the bakery to go.

Worst service I've had in a long time but the food was good. Server forgot about us, I guess because we were seated in the back. I had to ask for bread from three different servers. Finally got it about 25 minutes later. Never received refills on our drinks even though she said she'd get them. Owner was aware but didn't see to care. Won't be back.

I have visited this spot several times with my Thursday night dinner group. The food and the atmosphere is much better that I experienced in Naples, Florence and Rome Italy. Quite simply an outstanding dining experience. The Best I have found in my 70 plus years existence!!!

I'm not sure how I have missed this place over the years, but yesterday we decided on Italian and Ferrari's came up. Thank you Yelp Community. Let's start with the accommodations. I love the layout. The tables are close enough to notice what your neighbor is having, but not so close that you are sharing their conversation. That's just the right amount of Cozy for me. My son loved the painted walls and even made sure I snapped a picture of what he was sitting in front of. I saw a couple other reviews mention the service so I expected it to be good, but was pleasantly surprised by how good. The staff was attentive, engaging and really helped create a wonderful experience on top of the great meal. Now for the reason we came. The food. It was absolutely some of the best I have had in a while. I was having a difficult time choosing and it came down to the Stuffed Sole or the Filet Mignon or the Vitello Scallopini. I went with the advice of the staff and had the Crab Stuffed Sole. Wow it was good. So good the table next to us had to know what it was to order the next time they came. The stuffed mushrooms, the spaghetti and meatballs, and chicken parm were all great and we would probably make a trip out just for the garlic bread. Do yourself a favor and the next time you want Italian come here. We got there shortly after it opened on a Saturday and it was already filling up. When we left there was a decent sized number waiting. I would suggest looking into some reservations if you are going to be going during prime sit down hours.

All I can say is.. WOW! So good! One of my absolute favorite Italian meals is mushroom raviolis and this place knocked it out of the park. Everything from the fried raviolis, to the bread and wine to the main course was amazing. They also have a very impressive bakery when you enter that has mouthwatering desserts in the display window. I can't wait to visit again and introduce all my friends to this hidden gem.

Went with Party of 5 and 3 dishes were not that good and taste was just Blah!! Salads were probably the only thing that were good so if I were to go back salad is all I would eat. Tiramisu was bland. Comment by the drinkers in the group were they have good wine. Personally I would not go back as it was highly recommended to try but honestly was disappointed as the flavors were not really good.

My husband and I love this place. I'm a classic spaghetti girl and they do it right. Can't wait to come back and try again soon.

Terrible service. Terrible food. The night started out rocky. Cocktails had to be sent back twice because it the wrong drink. Nothing fancy - a whiskey sour. Focaccia bread was so stale it wouldn't break apart. My husband ordered a Mediterranean pizza that was completely inedible. When the server asked if we wanted it boxed, we told her it was not very good. She turned and walked away without comment. It remained on the bill. We have been to Ferrari's a couple of other times and the food was mediocre. Friends suggested it for tonight and it was the worst it has ever been. We will not return. There are a lot of other Italian restaurants in town.

Ferrari's restaurant has the ambiance of a small, family restaurant. The food is always so fresh and delicious. Today I ate an Italian hoagie with pasta salad. It was so good and more than I could eat. Enough for two meals!

Here's the thing. Restaurants like this one are a dying breed. Corporate oversight in an "Italian" place ruins everything. This spot is the real deal. Out of this world food, ambience AND a bakery is rare. The owner is to be cherished. Same with the help. Absolute 5 star place!

3 of us Friends went for a fun Friday night out. The Le Ferraris drink was very delicious. We all 3 had the lasagna the flavor was delicious ,but the portions we will have dinner again tomorrow. Two of the girls had a Ferrari salad they both said very fresh and flavorful . When you arrive they bring you a basket of different types of bread with oils to eat the bread. Would recommend it to everyone in Madeira.

So much to love about this place. Our server, Nick was fantastic. The food was great. Had old school chicken parmigiana & the serving size was huge! Great find.

We wanted to try some place new and settled on Ferrari's. Not very difficult to locate the driveway, but you have to drive all the way back and you will run right into it. It's a rough interior but in a really cool way. I felt like I had stumbled into a hidden gem. The seating area was very suitable for a romantic or a cozy meal. Staff super friendly and restrooms were clean. Had the special, salmon on a bed of spinach and covered with a lobster bisque. I will go back, but I will have to say it was a little pricey.

So awesome! This is delicious! I bought several loaves of bread to bring to my Italian family in northern Ohio! They were thrilled! The black olive loaf was devoured in minutes!

Food was exceptional but the service was better than that! The staff accommodated 25 of us in a group and made room when more showed up. Very pleased! Half priced bottles on Tuesday!

We haven't been to Ferrari's in several years. The food and service were both really good. I did think the prices were a bit expensive. Not sure I'd go back because of the price for what we received.

Wonderful service with awesome food! Didn't realize the place was so large. Rooms in all different places plus outside available. Had fried mozzarella as an appetizer. Delicious! Entrees were Penne with a meatball, Lasagna, and Margarita pizza. All delicious!

Ordered some cannoli to take away. Order was ready when promised. Cannolie was packaged well. Each was on it's own paper, with additional paper separating the layers of cannolie put one on top of the other. The box of sweets traveled well. None ended up crushed. Cannolie themselves were good. Filling was plentiful. Filling was not very sweet. It balanced nicely with the powdered sugar topping, and bittersweet chocolate chips on the ends. Chocolate chips stuck nicely to the ends. Not having them fall off when going to take a bite is always a plus. Thickness of the cannolie shell was proportionate to the filling and chips. I would order them again.

Visited with family to celebrate my anniversary. Great ambiance, food & service! Started with freshly baked bread that was delicious with some cocktails. Food was delicious, dessert even better! Young lady that served us was very friendly & helpful. Overall great experience & would visit here again!
