At Ferrari’s Little Italy & Bakery, there’s a calm, welcoming confidence the moment you sit down. You can tell right away this kitchen knows exactly what it’s doing and has for a long time.
From the first bite, everything tasted genuinely from scratch. Nothing felt trendy or overthought. The food just tastes right, like it’s been made the same way for years because it already works.
We started with the stuffed mushrooms, and they were fantastic. Like after the first bite I wanted to just sit there and savor that bite. It was stuffed with Spinach and cheese, cooked just right, brought together in a buttery sauce that makes the whole dish come together. Comforting, flavorful, and hard to stop eating.
The salad was better than you’d expect from a starter. The blue cheese was generous, especially if you love gorgonzola, and it balanced perfectly with the greens, pine nuts, sweet dried fruit, and balsamic dressing. Every bite made sense.
The lasagna was the star. Huge portion, clearly made with care, with great layers and a rich, well-built sauce. I took home half and still felt like I got my money’s worth. Two people could easily split it and walk away happy.
Dessert was the tiramisu, and it was excellent. Light, not too sweet, with that cocoa and coffee finish that keeps it balanced. I ate a whole piece as it was light enough, but you could easily split it and enjoy it and be satisfied. However, you might just get two as the server did tell me that although they would share alot of things they "won't share that!" And I would have to agree with her it was every bit of that kind of perfection.
Service matched the food. My server has been here over 20 years and treats everyone like family. Professional, friendly, and genuinely attentive without being overbearing.
This is the kind of place you recommend without hesitation. Solid food, generous portions, great service, and an atmosphere that feels comfortable and confident enough to bring someone you cared about without feeling too stuffy. If you’re on the fence, don’t be. We drove over 30 minutes because of the recommendation and it was worth the drive. You should come here at least once but you will come back.
