YTX Yoga, Strength, Pilates, HIIT, & Recovery

I just moved to Austin, and YTX has quickly become one of my favorite studios for hot mat Pilates. The teachers are amazing, and the classes are both challenging and fun. The equipment—like dumbbells, resistance bands, and ankle weights—is all in great condition. They also provide small towels for class and large ones for showering, which I really appreciate since I like to take a quick shower before heading home. There’s even a café inside, though I haven’t tried it yet. Definitely planning to practice here regularly!

YTX Yoga is my go-to every time I’m in Austin, and it’s an easy five stars from me. This studio strikes the perfect balance between being welcoming to newcomers and offering a legitimately challenging practice for seasoned yogis. They have several types of classes, I usually take warm or heated Vinyasa, and the instructors do a fantastic job layering the experience—you’ll get clear guidance if you’re newer, but also plenty of options to up-level if you’re looking to push yourself. It’s that rare place where a mixed-level class actually works for all levels. The studio itself is clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed, with an energy that’s both grounded and energized. They’ve recently added an infrared sauna, which I tried for the first time post-class—and let’s just say, it brings the heat. It was intense in the best way, a great post-flow reset. There’s also a cold plunge if you’re brave (I wasn’t… not after that sauna), but it’s great to have both options available. Management is super friendly and clearly creates a space where locals feel at home but visitors are just as welcome. You can feel the community vibe here, but you won’t feel like an outsider. Whether you’re living in Austin or just in town for a few days, YTX is one of those places that makes it easy to drop in, get a great sweat, and walk out feeling like you did something good for your body and mind.

Just moved to Austin from San Diego, attended 3 of the free community classes @ 3pm. They are recent graduates and it’s been the Yobody classes and omg I’m obsessed!! Jimena kicked our butt in the best way, had amazing tunes, energy with a perfect balance of strength and flow! The facilities are wonderful with a clean bathroom 2 or 3 studios I believe, and a cold plunge & sauna. The staff has been wonderful and gracious, handing a sweat towel when you enter. I park out front in street parking for approx $2.50 for the hour. I’m so grateful to have found this studio, can’t wait to try more classes! 💪💦

Ryan was a great leader with the kind energy and tone he brings to the table. He also was very receptive to my concerns after class. He seemed to listen and could take comments of criticism which is most important for anyone’s growth. My comment and concern was for the instructors to remind the students to make space/ be considerate of spacial awareness- as the class was packed and not much negative space left, though one student did not pay attention to his surroundings and did not consider moving up to help make way for others behind him, as no one could fit in the negative space in front of him. I’m not good at confrontation and didn’t want to say anything because everyone else seems aware of there space and surroundings n could be considerate enough to make space for others coming into class, this one particular student did not. I did not want to ruin the experience for myself nor him so I waited until most students were done with class just to kindly remind him if he could check his spacial awareness to consider making room for others, he was super offended even with my soft kind tone and reminding him softly- that I am not trying to be rude or attack. Most adults can’t take confrontation unfortunately and he was very mad n upset. I think it would be more professional for the leaders to remind the class and set that tone before any class begins especially at the high volume these classes fill, there isn’t much room, unless others are very considerate and aware. That student waited for me in the locker room and got in my face, yelled at me aggressively n put me down. It was scary felt unsafe and very intense. I did not let him bother me, I responded softly with understanding to his perspectives- let him know I was not trying to hurt his feelings rather than help the next students that have trouble with confrontation. I hope I can make a positive difference rather than making anyone feel less than or bad. Please make this an important class conversation before every class to prevent any negative blowups.

YTX is hands down my go-to yoga studio in Austin, and I truly love coming here. Megan’s Yoga HIIT classes are incredible, challenging, energizing, and always leave me feeling stronger and more grounded. The front desk staff is also consistently warm and welcoming, which makes every visit feel like a positive experience from start to finish. That said, I want to echo what some other reviewers have mentioned about spatial awareness in the studio. Sometimes students do not shift over to create room for new arrivals, even when there is clearly space on their left or right. It can feel frustrating when people are being a bit selfish, and I think more gentle reminders from instructors would help everyone have a better experience. Also, one small but meaningful detail: at the Sunday 1pm Yoga HIIT class, the cold lavender towels have often not been cold. Those little touches are part of what makes YTX so special, so it is disappointing when they are missed. Overall, I keep coming back because YTX is such a wonderful community with fantastic classes and staff. I just hope these details can be given some extra attention to make the experience consistently as great as it has the potential to be.

Overall: 4.5 stars — I found my experience at YTX to be beneficial considering their location and hours of operation. While the high-traffic hallways full of yoga students can sometimes crowd the small space and might not be for everyone, those seeking a unique and invigorating approach for a quick red light therapy session or cold plunge may find it worthwhile. Just be sure to book ahead using their app so the sauna is hot and ready when you arrive.

YTX was my best experience with a gym. The cold plunge and sauna experience is a must for any new clients! The staff at the front desk are friendly and a huge help if you ever need anything. Highly recommend this studio if you’re living in Austin or just visiting. I will be coming back on a regular basis!

After a six-month hiatus, I decided to check out the new location, and wow--I'm so glad I did! I was a member at their previous studio but had canceled my membership when my favorite 6 AM instructor left to open his own studio. Back then, the replacement instructor didn't quite click for me. Fast forward to today, and everything about the new location exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was blown away by the aesthetic, inviting vibe, and incredible amenities. They've added exciting extras like cold plunge pools, red light therapy, and an infrared sauna (available at an extra cost), taking the wellness experience to a whole new level. I attended the 6 AM class with Brooke, and her instruction was fantastic. The heated room was exactly what I love--intense yet soothing--and the lavender ice towel at the end was the cherry on top. The music struck the perfect balance, enhancing the flow without overpowering the practice. The staff is exceptionally friendly, and the studio aesthetic is clean, modern, and calming. Being back reminded me of how much I missed this space and everything it offers. YTX has clearly stepped up its game, and I'm excited to make this my go-to studio again. Highly recommend!!

I had the pleasure of going to the new location on 7th and Colorado. It was my first class, and I loved how aesthetic the studio is, the large room had plenty of room for many yoga mats, and of course the eucalyptus ice towels!! My Yo-strong class incorporated yoga and weights. The room is heated, although it did not feel like more than 88 degrees in the room. It was a good combination of yoga, weight training, and cardio. The music was perfect, loud, and it was an inviting environment. I would go again! The front desk staff was very friendly and empathetic of me arriving 2-3 minutes late after class. In the studio they have a sauna, infrared room, cold plunge and even a cafe! There was no one manning the cafe, but it would be awesome to get juices, avocado toast, etc as advertised. The saunas, cold plunges and infrared room are by reservation only, you cannot use it if you are just going in for a class. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and I will be back!

Awesome interior and really kind, energetic staff. The flow itself was okay. Obviously yoga is very preferential but I am not a fan of "workout-y" yoga classes that have you repeat chaturanga 80 times in one class. Class was crowded, Music is loud, pace was very fast, and the instructor uses a headspeaker. Love the juice bar / smoothie bowl spot inside :)

Stopped in at YTX for a Sunday morning yoga class and was really impressed by the class and space itself. For first time visitors they offer a complimentary towel for your yoga mat. They also are connected with a juice/smoothie spot where you can stop in for a snack afterwards. The check in area has all the latest yoga apparel for sale. The bathrooms and studio was very clean and plenty of space to store your belongings. A great yoga spot that is right in downtown that you will leave with a peace of mind knowing that you got a great yoga session in.

I love yoga and as I travel a lot I usually practice in my hotel room as I am yoga teacher myself but this one is a block away from my usual hotel so I decided to give it a try! Took a warmed Vinyasa class - even at 4:30 it was surprisingly packed but there was still a decent space between myself and other yogis. Loved the vibe of the studio, the heat was spot on and it was a great yoga playlist. The teacher was great and threw in a few challenges with modifications. Only thing I didn't love - and it's not the studios fault - is the class was weirdly unfriendly, just a room full of people trying their hardest to ignore each other and the front desk people are not super friendly either. Got a really good workout, enjoyed the class, great store with top notch brands in the lobby and the smoothie place also in the lobby is the best and their staff are amazing!! Great food too. Will be back for sure - excited to try another class

Amazing staff, amazing yoga, spa, and incredible classes. I've worked with several instructors so far and I am impressed with all of them. The way they manipulate these workouts to make them so diverse each day they keep putting in the work for us.. eternally grateful for YTX Yoga. The man's Tange room and the yoga room are so clean. They have mats if you forget yours they have the nice solid cork blocks if you need them lots of weight sizes to suit all your needs and I noticed an issue with drainage in the men's locker showers and just so happens that next day and already been organized and contracted to pro them out fix them up in like probably just over 24 hours amazing talents because whoever did this I spoke to a couple of them one of them like the main man because he spoke the most but he was very appreciative when I said it's looking really good. You guys are doing a great job.

Absolutely ethereal space that functions more like an upscale yoga spa than a studio. Vibe reminds me of the communities I miss so much from Portland, where I started my practice. They are attracting some of the most talented teachers, stocking high-end amenities (Dyson, lavender-scented towels!), favorite fitness gear, and a juice bar to leave nourished and refreshed, inside & out. My class with Dulcinea was meditative but intensely challenging, pushing me physically while purifying the mind. A beautiful experience, only downside is looking for parking, so leave early!

Photos and videos are of the old Wanderlust studio at 4th and Brazos. The new location at 7th and Colorado has much smaller rooms that only hold maybe 25 mats. The heat does not work. This is not hot yoga. Half of the showers are broken. Manager refuses to refund even 50% of 60-day trial after I attended two classes in the first week that I didn't even sweat in. If you want hot yoga- try Core Power or Pure. Don't waste your time or money here. ** Revised to address the response by the owner - So, rather than start a new Google profile for YTX, you are maintaining the Google profile for Wanderlust, a different business at a different location? This profile is intentionally misleading and you know it. I would suggest starting a new business profile to more accurately illustrate the business you are currently operating. Additionally, the owner asks me to email them although I am texting staff right now who refuse to issue a refund. Love YTX! Fav studio in Austin! The staff is lovely and helpful. The instructors are first rate. If you can't find street parking they have the niftiest valet parking lot in San Jacinto between 4th and 5th. Really a studio. That spoils you for other studios!

I had this place do a private yoga class for my bachelorette at our air bnb and it was a great experience! The whole process of booking the yoga class was so easy and the lady, Sophia I spoke with was so helpful. In addition, Danika our yoga instructor was so friendly and nice. She did an amazing job doing the class and was really good at redirecting us when we got side tracked. She also gave us so many suggestions for restaurants to go to and try while we're in Texas. I highly recommend checking out YTX yoga and requesting Danika.

I was attending an conference at the Austin Convention Center and just did a class but it was excellent! And they made it super easy to borrow a mat and get set up. Notably a great vibe in the place. And the juice place attached is delicious too!

This review is based on an experience I had here in February. I was hesitant to even write this but I think others should know the level of aggression and odd behavior here. Trash racist and classist behavior. I quickly stopped in this location because they have a smoothie/food spot inside. Upon entering I was greeted by a girl, but then realized that even though I was wearing Lulu leggings, carrying a designer bag, and wearing golden goose shoes, that this person was following me like I was going to steal. It was really odd. I even pointed out I'm wearing some of the brands they sell... and she stayed literally on top of me the whole time. I just thought maybe it was because she was new... Flash forward a few minutes, and I order food and a smoothie. In the 10 min it would have taken to make my food, the staff here chose to engage a gentlemen who walked in off the street.. and PEPPER SPRAY HIM! Yep that's right! In a fully inclosed space, with multiple customers around, these 18 year old workers PEPPER SPRAYED SOMEONE INSIDE!!! The gentlemen was not homeless, he had walked in to use the restroom and offered to buy something. He stated this multiple times. These outrageous (all white, I might add) children workers were superiorly racist and assumed the guy was homeless because he wasn't white. One look and you could tell he was in nice clothes and had a WALLET out ready to pay as soon as he exited the bathroom. It was painful to watch this all go down and even more horrible to be pepper sprayed by proxy, as an innocent bystander just trying to get a snack. I grabbed my service animal AND some water to wash our eyes with, and bolted. I notified the staff I am highly allergic to pepper spray and that it's negligent, risky, and downright STUPID to do that. Keep in mind all of this happened in the space people were doing yoga in! They never stopped the class or cleared out the spray! Just didn't tell anyone. Do not ever go and give this place your business. Ever. Trash racist and classist behavior. Shoot first ask questions later. Insane they're even in business with these types of behaviors.

This is my favorite yoga studio in Austin! The moment you walk in a calm vibe comes over you. Whatever scent they have throughout the studio adds to the ambience (you'll see what I mean). They have two rooms, and I've only ever taken classes in the big one. I always bring my own mat, but they have some for rent. They do have hand towels you can use but don't forget your mat sweat towel. You will sweat in the heated classes, but it feels so good! They do have a couple of showers and items like a blow dryer to help you freshen up afterwards if needed. I've liked the majority of the instructors, with Zoe being my favorite! I'm so glad she's back in town! The best part is the cold lavender scented washcloths they bring out during savasana. Be sure to arrive early for class as you'll have to look for street parking and might have to walk a couple blocks.

I like the atmosphere of this studio and the structure of the class. As a first time goer 20m of stressful parking combined with not hearing the teacher because of the loud music made me not enjoy the class. Class was packed.

YTX Yoga refused to honor any promotions and the front desk staff is not knowledgeable. I mentioned a new client deal that I saw on its WEBSITE (that day!) and the lady on the phone told me that I was wrong and that it was a past deal. Then, why is it up on your website? She had no answer only that what I saw with my eyes were wrong. They will lie if they don't know something. What is a bad sign. If they are unable to know what promo they are running, they cannot manage your billing. That is a giant red flag in any business. I would not trust them with your credit card.

Amazing workout! Better than all equinox classes I've taken, would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good sweat and full body workout

Went here to try a Power Vinyasa class. I don't live anywhere near this location and I was a stressed out finding a parking spot so had to hurry to class. I liked the energy and vibe of the studio. There was plenty of space and didn't feel overcrowded. The format of the class was alright. I don't mind the occasional "do this on your own for two rounds and we'll meet in downward facing dog" during Sun A but the teacher had us do this in both Sun A and B for three rounds. The music was too loud and the teacher was hard to hear even when he used a headset with mic. I love the refreshing cold oil-infused face towel given at the end of class. Overall it was nice to try them out to understand what they're about. I'll come back if they open up more power vinyasa classes.

The decorations and the fragrance quite have that vibe for meditation. They provide yoga blocks and bands for usage, also do complete sanitation after each class. The best side I like is the tunable light level, I really enjoyed dimming the light when it comes to more relaxing sessions. Would recommend this studio! They also have huge discount for new customers $43 a month.

I've been going to this yoga studio for over 5 years starting when it was named Wanderlust. Today I switched to Black Swan. Ever since it came under new ownership the classes have been lack luster, and recently they raised prices drastically and seem to be using sneaky tactics to get everyone on the new pricing. My monthly charge was $113. Back in January I unfortunately lost my job, so I responsibly froze my account (NOT cancel) and was assured that when I began again I would still be at $113. I was also informed that they can only do this for 2 months at a time, and that at the end of 2 months they would automatically unfreeze and start charging me again. I assumed that was enough time to get a new job and agreed to that and was fully ok with it if they began charging. Today, I realized I was ready to start back up, I checked my bank account just to make sure they had started charging again and was surprised to see no new charges. So then I called the studio and asked them to unfreeze my account. I was told that at the end of the 2 months they canceled my membership completely and that the only way I can rejoin is to pay the new monthly cost of $143 per month. When this place was good and reasonably priced the value was absolutely there... the value just isn't there anymore, and frankly my trust in them is gone - so, that's why today I began my membership at Black Swan ($88 monthly).

I've been practicing yoga over the course of ~10 years now and this is my favorite studio in Austin. YTX has a nice range of instructors that vary in style, speed, music, and method which I appreciate a ton, each class feels entirely unique. With a professional background in weightlifting and HIIT, I also really enjoy the Yostrong and THAW classes which implement dumbbells. If you're new to yoga, this studio is very welcoming. And it's yoga at the end of the day, it's your practice, and the instructors are welcoming to you adjusting the cadence and poses and taking it at your own pace. The front desk staff is the sweetest and help to create a welcoming environment. Smoothies at JuicedUp are fantastic. Lavender towels at the end of each class. Showers and towels available for use. + street parking is fairly easy and they recently launched valet service for $5 behind the studio. ily, YTX

I used some ClassPass credits to check out a evening candlelight stretch class at YTX. I am not much of a yogi and find it hard to quiet my mind in yoga classes, but am working on my flexibility so I figured I would give it a shot. I was truly blown away by my experience at the YTX studio. Upon walking in you are greeted by friendly front desk workers, who make checking in very easy. The room I went into for my class was being extensively cleaned from the class before us (which is great to see at a hot yoga studio), and was large in size. I like not feeling claustrophobic or too close to other people when doing yoga, and YTX studios have enough space to feel like you can really stretch out. The class provides hands on support with essential oils throughout, and I found myself leaving extremely relaxed! Will definitely be back.

The studio is so spacious, cozy, and has great amenities. The associates are all very friendly and accommodating despite my friend and me arriving at the time of the class (instead of a few minutes early). This was our first visit to the studio, and they provided us a free mat and towel. We attended their yoga teacher trainee class where the teacher was a fried yoga grad, and we found the class challenging yet relaxing and ultimately very rewarding. The studio was very clean and had a little cafe and facility amenities. Can't wait to come back!

This review is not for the quality of the yoga classes. Quality is amazing! Also, I never write reviews but had to stand up for something I felt was handled very poorly. I signed up for the unlimited new client special month of $50. I was really excited and enjoyed trying a few classes ( I only was able to go 3 times). Then, I decided due to financial reasons that I was not ready to commit to a membership. I then checked my credit card and noticed I was charged $150 for a monthly membership. I was never notified of this. If I hadn't had checked, who knows how long I would have been charged without my notice. I have never had a work out studio move ahead and charge you for the next month. I have always had to re-new my membership to reflect the new unlimited monthly membership with new fee. I find this policy very sneaky - who knows how many other members incurred these fees without their knowledge. Maybe they still are! I then reached out to customer services explaining the situation and they DID NOT refund me. This is a yoga studio and I expect better. They took my money after explaining that it was an honest mistake. Shame on them. I would have loved to join at some point. Now, I just can't given the principle of how they handled this situation.

Overall, a lovely place! Dropped by here while traveling. Efficient and kind staff; good yoga instructor; showers provided; towels and mats provided. Main room: Probably due to how spacious it was, I didn't feel that it really heated up as well as other heated power yoga classes I've had elsewhere. I'm used to 95º-98º and this felt less, maybe 90º or even less?? It was also super-cold outside so not sure if this also had some effect. Bathrooms/locker rooms: Men's locker room ran out of lockers and people were piling stuff everywhere. Either arrive really early or consider leaving valuables at home (or taking into studio) if you're concerned about this. I came from work with a large laptop and didn't want to take that into the studio but was worried about it in the locker room. Otherwise, it was clean and functional, if a bit small for the traffic for the 6pm weekday prime time class.

Unfortunately terrible experience with the front desk. I have been a member in the past and booked the class on class pass this time. For some reason it did go through (only noticed when I got to the studio). I got time off work (lunch time), parked (parking is not easy in downtown austin) and got to the class. Unfortunately my reservation didn't go through and it was too late to book again. I was told they can't book me on class pass, I can pay for a class to take it. I left my wallet in the car (I came to yoga after all) and I was told "there is nothing I can do". I said I was a member in the past, I do use class pass, there are surely tons of things you can do. For example: let me take a class, let me pay after, discount the class, because customer retention is expensive. In fact more expensive than any accommodation you can do to a customer in this situation. It's a yoga studio after all, isn't it about trying to at least work it out? I was told "sorry, there is nothing I can do". Well, guess what, there are million of things black swan yoga studio could have done. So, unfortunately for the owners, you just lost a customer who surely be telling the experience to other customers. Was it all worth it? Having a flexibility in your decision making would save you so much business that can be so hard to get in the future when recession hits.

$28 drop in fee felt a bit steep but I loved the experience! The heat, energy, instruction, music, & space made my morning extra special. I wish there was a studio near me. Register online beforehand & arrive early so you can get a good spot. Morning classes are packed!

Planned a private yoga class as part of my friend's bachelorette weekend. We had a great time! Communication prior to the event was super easy. They were able to provide mats, towels, blocks and the space for a super affordable price. The class was an hour and the instructor was great. Each mat was set up prior to us arriving. She asked what level of yoga our group practiced. Most of us were beginner and/or had never done yoga before! She made the class super relaxing yet active. Everyone had a great time and did not feel uncomfortable being inexperienced. It was really nice to have the whole studio to ourselves too! Check them out for bachelorette parties/private events! You will not be disappointed!

The YTX studio is an incredible space with even better classes and friendly staff. I've only taken Yo Strong classes but it is PHENOMENAL! If you've ever taken Corepower's sculpt class it's similar but YTX's version is even better (which I never knew would be possible but seriously Yo Strong is the best). They provide mat rentals for a fee and the bathrooms have showers with soap, conditioner, etc. YTX also has a smoothie bar (Juiced Up) within it that offers a wide a range of delicious snacks and smoothies post-workout. The front desk was super friendly and helpful -- plus they helped me find a really cute Alo set in their store section!! I would recommend the instructors Julia and Danika -- both have great energy and make you WORK! YTX is definitely my favorite yoga studio in Austin. I hope they open more studios soon!

Convienient location, opt for the earliest class if you're not one for crowds. 9AM was nice and comfortable, when class got out, it was calamity, similar to Black Friday, not the vibe I want at all. The class? Eh. The instructor's music is tied to her phone, like most but she had calls coming in from the appliance delivery company, which paused the music and was distracting. Music was at a volume a few notches too high, hard to hear her over it and when we did she wasn't giving us proper direction. She was flighty. Most of the class the students were confused. I didn't feel the flow or the camaraderie amongst the group. Corrections were not made throughout the class, they nickel and dime you for everything $2 towel, $1 mat, $2 if you want a Manduka. It's very corporate. Great interior design. No intimacy, herd you in and out like cattle. $19 for a drop in, not including fees mentioned above.

I'm visiting from out of town and had a free morning before my flight. Booked a walk-in for 9:30 and had the loveliest time. They had a mat for me and access to lockers was clutch. The class was great. The studio was warm. The room was large. So often I'm smooshed up against my fellow yogis but this morning there was plenty of room to breathe. Had a great class and loved that there was an Açaí place attached in the lobby area. There is also access to showers if you need which is another great touch. So glad I came! Namaste.

This location has a problem cleaning the pillows and blankets as well as the domain location. The owners haven't really tried to put in tge effort to grow the Domain location. Disappointingly they are now closing the Domain location due to not enough people coming to it. It's a great little gem there but both locations downtown and domain have an issue cleaning their Pillows and blankets buy disinfecting them especially during Covid. I am extremely disappointed you chose to close the location at the domain because you didn't really give it much of a chance. Now I will have to drive to this location but before I decide to continue my membership I want to make sure that you are completely disinfecting the blankets and pillows before use and after use.

Ah, it's so painful to leave a bad review for this beautiful studio! I'm from LA and travel a lot for business, so whenever I go I try to find a yoga studio nearby to take classes while away from home. I came here for Power Yoga class, not going to mention the teacher's name, because he was lovely and in no way it's an attack on him. Here is what was wrong with that class: 1. Website says it's for ALL levels, but the teacher did not show a single pose, instead, he was walking around almost rambling names of different asanas, so, if you are new to this, there is no way, you can follow the class. 2. I could barely hear the teacher due to loud music. 3. Transitions are important in yoga, even more important than asanas and transitioning with control is what defines how good you are. At this class we didn't have more than 1 second for each pose, the rhythm was absolutely crazy and not in a good way. I saw people behind me who were trying to keep up and as a result didn't do anything properly:( 4. At one point of the class we were told to just do our own flow for 2 minutes, as there was no flow set up for us. Imagine if this was one of your first classes...... I would freak out:) I am all about intensive yoga and making it as hard as possible, that's why I love Power Flow so much. But this was very chaotic, not challenging, as you barely had time to really try anything and I really hope that this didn't discourage a lot of people from doing yoga ever again.

My wanderlust has led me to traveling to Austin for this weekend, and I wanted to do Yoga at some point during my trip. How perfect is this studio called Wanderlust Yoga?! Furthermore, I lucked out with this yoga studio literally being around the corner of my hotel. The universe was definitely on board with me on this one. I had no problems with reserving my spot in class at the last minute, and I was able to book my spot through the MINDBODY app. I liked that the studio shared its space with a smoothie/juice bar. I'm not sure if the smoothie/juice bar was a part of the studio or if it was its own establishment, but I was a fan of how they complemented each other on wellness. I took a vinyasa class in the first room to the left, and I found that the studio wasn't very big and easily filled up wall to wall. There were no mirrors in this room, so you can't check on your own alignment. What concerned me a bit was that the instructor neither gave tips on proper posture nor did she go around fixing alignments.

The class I took this past week was exactly what I needed after being stuck in hotels for four nights while waiting for flights to get back home during the recent ice storm in Austin. I dropped in for an early evening hot flow class. I like hot yoga to be warmer than most places get. This room delivered the heat. Even during an ice storm, the class was completely full. Both the instructor and the front desk staff kept up with the volume of people. I can see why this studio gets such rave reviews from locals. I'm so glad I happened by after checking into a nearby hotel.

Took a class at Wanderlust this week while I was in town for work. I came to a Vinyasa class at 6am with about 10 coworkers. We showed up 2 minutes before class (not great) but nonetheless the staff was super helpful in getting us shuffled in. The class seemed to be oversold, which coming in late made it a tight squeeze but all yogis were accommodating and made room. I don't practice yoga regularly and very much enjoyed the class. The teacher gave the appropriate amount of direction and really made for an amazing hour. Going home, I am now wanting to add yoga into my routine. If you're in Austin and staying downtown, I'd recommend adding a class at Wanderlust to your list.

An awesome yoga experience!! PSA: parking is terrible. There is only street parking in the area, being downtown, but it is always full. So either plan to walk/scoot here or come early to snag a spot somewhere, if you are so lucky. That aside, it is a really lovely studio. Very clean and very yogi aesthetic. The studio has showers, lockers, and a blenders&bowls inside which are all super nice. The front desk peeps are wonderful. I ended up having a little car conflict as I was trying to park, making me run late. I called ahead as they request and they totally took care of me. As long as I got there within 10 minutes of class starting, I had a reserved mat laid down for me. Luckily, I made it and the front desk gal led me in and helped me out. Big thanks for that. The class itself was great. Definitely a lot of sweat and work in the Vinyasa class. I felt like I worked hard and got a lot out of it. The instructor was Gustavo, who seemed very knowledgeable, challenging, and helpful. He would come by to offer help as the class went on. The class did move quickly but it was good hard work. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because of a few minor things, one being the price. It was $28 just for the class. You can get packages and all to minimize your total costs, but it still is a really expensive place. If you have the money and it's worth, then go for it! But it is not the most sustainable place to do yoga regularly, when other places are a lot more affordable. And then, just again, the class moved kind of fast. I did Vinyasa which said it was open to all levels, but it felt like it was more of an intermediate class at the least. The instructor didn't really show us how to do a lot of it, it was just kind of expected you would know what the poses are. And since it was so fast, it was hard to keep up and actually get the poses fully. If that is what you are looking for then it's great, and I still enjoyed the class--luckily I knew majority of the poses already. But something I appreciate about other places I've been to is when the instructor is keen on ensuring everyone goes at their own pace and understands how to do the poses and asanas. It creates an environment where you don't feel pressured to perform, but rather just do what your body needs. Again, it was still a wonderful place and instructor and experience. Everyone has different tastes. I think I'd like to come back again and try another class, but I also just don't know if it's somewhere I'd regularly go.

I find the yoga instructors all excellent and the studio is very nice. I feel very welcome there and I always come out feeling like I had a great session!

The studio also offers yoga events and specialized trainings that help you explore deeper into meditation and breathing techniques! Love this studio!!

Such a great experience! Customer service was on point. I felt very welcomed and taken care of. The front desk agent gave me a personalized tour of the space, showed me where to put my things, helped me with the locker lock and made me feel at home. Lots of warm smiles and friendly faces. And the downtown Yoga studio space was incredible. The detail, the lighting, the music, the instruction was all 5-star! I joined the 6pm Power Flow class and the instructor was amazing. She kept us moving, offered modifications, encouraged us to look within and push ourselves hard. It was just what I was looking for. Can't wait to go back!

I have been going to Wanderlust, now YTX, off and on since I moved to Austin ~6 years ago. In the past year, I feel that the customer service has improved; the front desk seems more organized and I like the new Union system for class booking. They also ran a Black Friday sale on class packs which made my class cost very reasonable. They also did a fantastic job getting us back onto our mats when it was safe during Covid while following all of the safety protocols in the Studio (I hope the mat spacing stays, so the classes never get too crowded!). They have top-notch instructors and I always feel like I'm taking a class at a wellness retreat. Some of the classes are tough, but the instructors make you feel comfortable and suggest modifying poses. I don't plan on every going anywhere else in Austin.

I find that exercising while on a business trip helps give you a sense of balance, and yoga is a godsend, when you've been sitting at an airport/on a flight and have a grumpy back! I found Wanderlust thanks to a quick google search of yoga studios near my hotel. For $28, you can drop-in and a yoga mat, non-slip towel and face towel are included as part of your fee (great, if you're not local). The Tuesday 6am class also included a DJ, which I am a fan of. I admit, the front desk staff wasn't as helpful as I would have thought, I found myself going back to ask "where can I store my belongings?" and "where does my rented mat go?" But to be fair, it was 5:30am! Collette taught a great class, and I really enjoyed some new yoga poses that I've never tried before. So glad I made the choice to start my day with yoga here, and I'll certainly be back in the future!

Small life hack: I get an açaí Bowl whether or not I do yoga. Pro tip: I go to Whole Foods and buy fresh almond butter. Wanderlust uses the Costco brand almond butter. How much of a mentee am I to Coach Augie Garrido am I that I prepare to win at my own açaí bowl. Açaí Bowls just give you opportunity just like division 1 college baseball at the University of Illinois.

I did a yin and restore class while visiting town... the space is nice and big with a great full locker room. The class however felt like a $28 nap... well $30 after mat rental. There were no cues given other than to name the pose and the poses themselves weren't fantastic. I love a good yin class - expecting it to be more than a whole lot of child's pose. It was so dark and quiet that it did make me relax though.... Not bad, just disappointing.
