On the Grid : Casablanca Seafood Bar & Grille

"This is one of the cleanest and freshest fish markets in Miami. The attached restaurant serves-up its catches to a long, beautiful row of covered waterfront seating. You can keep it casual with fish croquetas and a mojito, or go for a more romantic experience and share some of their larger and more expensive dishes with friends and family." - Hernan Bas & Pete Rozek

Casablanca Seafood Bar & Grill - Review - Downtown - Miami - The Infatuation

"Casablanca is a seafood restaurant right on the Miami River. The seafood is decent (though not as good as its neighbor, Garcia’s), but they have a lot of tables with a pretty waterfront view. Casablanca does the job for Happy Hour too if your main priority is to eat by the water. Just know that the oysters, clams, and fish are going to be about 60% better next door. Atmosphere is great. Seating outside is recommended. With seating on the water, it is a great view whether you go during dalylight or the evening. My husband loved the ambiance because he feels a view of the water is always like a holiday. Service was also good. Our server came and checked in on us several times. Food was good. Prices are reasonqble for Miami. A good selection of seafood. And a few selection of none seafood items. Alot of lobster items on the menu (which isn't great since i have a severe lobster allergy and not as severe shellfish allergy...but i was fine.) We asked before ordering about the frier and stock used. We enjoyed the conch fritters as well as the paella (for 1). The beef dish wasn't as impressive. (lomo saltido - didnt realize it would be a beef stir fry). I wouldn't order agian. But the place has a great selection of so much more. For drinks we ordered a very reasonable bottle of NZ savigan blanc. A service charge of 18% is added to the bill. Will definately be returning to this restaurant again!

We came to bring my mom for her birthday to this restaurant by the Miami River. The food is really good! The calamari were delicious, and the seafood pasta was amazing too. I wouldn’t recommend the octopus, though — it’s quite small and the sauce on top takes away the real flavor of the octopus. Other than that, definitely a place worth visiting!

Casablanca Seafood on the Miami River was a fantastic experience! The food was fresh and flavorful, especially the seafood—clearly top quality. Service was attentive and friendly, and the view overlooking the river added a special touch to the whole evening. We especially loved the unique dessert presentation, where they rolled out a cart with the full selection on display—hard to say no! The atmosphere was vibrant yet relaxed, perfect for a Miami night out. Highly recommend!

Everything from start to finish was amazing about Casa Blanca. We were greeted by our host and led directly to our table. We got a seat right on the water and it was absolutely beautiful. Victor our server and everyone else at the restaurant made sure that our water glasses were full and were completely taken care of from the moment we were seated. And the food. Amazing. Can't talk enough about the food. It was absolutely phenomenal and I can't wait to recommend this place to everyone. We left full and happy and it was worth every penny. I would come back here again. 10/10 for the service, food and atmosphere. Absolutely phenomenal.

Excellent seafood spot on the river. Came here with a buddy for casual dinner and both of us really loved the food and atmosphere. It has a bit of an old school vibe that’s increasingly hard to find in Miami. Great views and a nice happy hour. The service was especially friendly and on point. I wish I got the waitresses name. She was great.

Casablanca on the River is an absolute gem! The fish is incredibly fresh, the portions are generous, and every bite feels like quality. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, paired with stunning views that make the experience even more special. Between the amazing food, the great vibes, and the beautiful setting, what more could you ask for? Definitely a must visit spot!

The experience at Casablanca is exactly the type of experience you can hope for with a seafood restaurant right by the river. Eilen was our server and she was attentive and charming throughout the whole experience. The food was fresh either great taste and at a good price. With the wind in your hair and the music that is quintessential Miami we will definitely be coming back!

Thoroughly enjoyed our Valentine’s Day dinner with some friends, both couples from WI! The restaurant was booming, even at our early reservations at 4:15pm. Valet service was nice to have. Walked through the restaurant where the hostess sat us in the porch area while we enjoyed the waterfront yacht traffic. The meal was excellent. Everything was prepared to perfection. The portion of the calamari was disappointingly small for the price. Tuna tartar was some of the best we’ve ever had. The sea bass was amazing, as were the scallops. Scallops were seared just right and so tender. Served was a 10/10. Very friendly, welcoming and kind from the time we walked in the doors til saying goodbye.
