What Breakfast Looks Like in 26 Countries Around the World - AFAR
"Recommended for travelers who want a home-cooked Moroccan breakfast without leaving their hotel, this Marrakesh property offers a convenient way to sample traditional morning fare from the comfort of your room." - Maggie Fuller
"Opened in 1946 as a restaurant (where the famous regulars included Churchill and Hemingway), La Maison Arabe later expanded to a small hotel, then grew again under its current French-Italian owner. Today, it features 26 garden- or patio-view rooms and suites, individually designed in either a traditional or slightly more modern Moroccan style. All have air-conditioning and heating (a must for the varied desert temperatures) as well as Wi-Fi, satellite TVs, and marble-and-granite bathrooms stocked with aromatic toiletries. Also available to guests is an idyllic swimming pool, around which the hotel serves a home-cooked breakfast each morning, and the clubby, 1930s-inspired Piano Bar, where guests can enjoy live jazz and pre-dinner drinks by the fireplace. When it’s time to unwind, head to the cozy spa for an array of face, body, and hamman treatments, all performed with products made exclusively for the hotel. Much like in the past, La Maison Arabe revolves around food. Guests can choose between Le Restaurant, where a gorgeous fountain and hand-painted ceiling set the stage for authentic Moroccan fare, and the intimate, lantern-lit Les Trois Saveurs, which serves a sophisticated menu of French, Moroccan, and Asian dishes. Additionally, the hotel offers some of the city’s best cooking classes, which are open to outside guests. Led by a dada (a traditional Moroccan cook), the lessons take place either at the main hotel or the Country Club—a satellite property located 15 minutes away by complimentary shuttle, wherestudentscan alsofind a larger pool, lush gardens, a restaurant, and a bit of calm away from the bustle of the medina."

La Maison Arabe | Best places to stay in Marrakech
"Established in 1946, this legendary hotel is one of the Medina’s finest and most comfortable, with intricate carved doors, lattice windows, cedar ceilings, and plush furnishing.
Oriental paintings and candelabras hang on walls and Moroccan lanterns illuminate each room. Pretty courtyards with fountains and potted palms, two big and beautiful swimming pools and a spa with hammam complete the picture.
The location in bustling Bab Doukkala, a short stroll to Jemaa El Fna, is excellent, making this an ideal choice for a first Marrakech stay.

La Maison Arabe was simply beautiful. The location was excellent, walking distance to most sites. The room was very comfortable, with all amenities required to make our stay comfortable. Complimentary water and a bottle of wine was much appreciated, as well as the special touches such as rose petals. The entire staff were of such great service, answering all our questions, making restaurant reservations for us, etc. All in all, the experience at this 5 star riad was more than we expected. The afternoon tea and pastries was also a welcome treat, and the breakfast buffet extraordinary. We definitely would highly recommend this establishment .

Great experience. We booked via our your operator and they provided taxi to and from location. The cooking was great. Very friendly chef who was easy to follow. Also a lovely interpter who was friendly and interesting with excellent English. It was fun. All the dishes came out very good. We also had nice cup of saffron tea and learnt about spices. Later we eat our dishes in the dinning room. Left with receipe card and lots of ideas.

We first stayed at La Maison Arabe in 2000 for our honeymoon and had a wonderful time. We decided to go back as part of a business trip to spend the last 2 nights in this lovely riad hotel. We were not disappointed, the offering is excellent. The junior suite was lovely and spacious, the food was delicious and we had a wonderful stay. We would not hesitate to recommend and we will certainly return.

This is a beautiful and historic riad complex in Marrakech.
I had an amazing few days at here. This beautiful riad, located close to the Medina shopping areas, is full of character and charm. The rooms and common spaces are tastefully decorated, creating an inviting and authentic Moroccan atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The on-site restaurants were excellent, and the pool was a perfect place to relax after exploring the city.
I would absolutely stay here again if I’m lucky enough to return to Marrakech.

We had a wonderful five day stay at this hotel. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are very comfortable, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The location is great. We did a cooking class there which we really enjoyed. They also have a small country club with a free transportation. There’s a nice pool there to cool off.

I went to the spa here for a hammam and massage. My masseuse was Sumia. She was AMAZING! I've had many massages in my life and this was by far in the top tier!!! I loved it. And the surroundings are gorgeous. Thank you for a lovely experience. We also had lunch at the restaurant and that was wonderful as well.

We had a spectacular stay at La Maison Arabe last week. This was our final stop on a 5 legged tour of Morocco and this hotel was the best way to end. The room was gorgeous - we were lucky enough to have the royal suite with our friends and travel mates next door in the same. These 3 story bits of paradise were gorgeous and perfectly appointed. The main floor had wonderful seating options and great light with a full bathroom, the second floor had a comfortable bed, full bathroom and plenty of room and closet space. The third floor was a terrace that we loved having cocktails on each night. The service in the restaurants was some of the best we had in Morocco - always timely, attentive, and delicious . We also enjoyed tea service when a local friend came to visit. Do not miss the roof top bar for a mid-day drink and the hotel shop and gallery right around the corner are also worth popping into if you have time. Our only regret is not having more time there! Book for at least 3 nights!

Visited for dinner and had a really lovely experience. The setting feels authentic and welcoming, with a wholesome, intimate atmosphere. The food was tasty and well prepared, and the service was genuinely warm. A charming spot for a relaxed, memorable dinner.
