I had the most incredible experience at Warnors Theatre in Fresno! This historic gem is truly a treasure that everyone should experience. From the moment I stepped inside, I was transported back in time to an era of grandeur and elegance. The architecture and design of Warnors Theatre are simply breathtaking. The attention to detail in every corner is awe-inspiring, showcasing the incredible craftsmanship of a bygone era. We went for a concert last week. The concert was very nice. They have a lot of security.This place is very nice from the inside. The bathrooms are very clean.

Very cool spot. Went for a Halloween art event/beer tasting. Everyone is very friendly. Signed up for a "haunted tour" and the hostess was very informative!

The whole place is WAY too small for the amount of seats they have. If people aren't in their seats they're standing front to back with everyone because it's so cramped in there. Super long line for security to check if you have food because they want you to pay even more on top of a ticket that is overpriced for a packed place. At intermission we weren't allowed to step outside or else we couldn't come back in, and we had a child who needed to run off some energy since there wasn't even enough room for him to walk around inside. There was 1 bathroom for women, I never even saw a men's bathroom, but we all had to wait in line so long that the show had already started before I got to see the door of the bathroom(and we were there to watch our kids perform). Our kids that were performing complained that the stage was also too small. Violinists were having to angle themselves to avoid hitting the next kid in the face with their bows. There is no parking for the places just have to pay to park wherever you can find...It may be "historic" but it also seems to be falling apart

Great venue for a show. However, the interior is good but needs more work to make it sparkle & shine...also, for shows they need to open the upstairs bar in addition to the lobby bar. Warnors is losing out on ALOT of potential revenue by only having the lobby bar open and not upstairs open also.

I remember seeing the Sound of Music in '65 and also other movies plus some great concerts back in the late 70's early 1980's

This is a beautiful venue the structure is Magnificent the sound quality is probably unmatched in Fresno there are a few problems the plumbing is inadequate the handicapped access to bathrooms was intolerable the fact that the balcony was closed for this show didn't inspire people to come the balcony is always been a highlight of the Warner's Theater I understand this maybe under new ownership so I will come back and revaluate this in a few months however I love the venue but feel that they're missing the money that it takes to properly support such a place the plumbing look completely inadequate you couldn't even flush their urinals in the basement they were hard plumbed and had no valves this is not an acceptable method of flushing a toilet I'm not sure what's going on at this venue but it is substandard and not to code that is not tolerable for Mass buildings as we witnessed in Rhode Island you cannot take shortcuts in theaters remember the Rhode Island fires or because of shortcuts and cheap ownership you cannot be cheap when you own a club like this or a venue like this you also need to attract quality act and do proper promotion which was not done for this event and only sold out about 3/4 of the bottom of the theater easily they could have filled the theater had it in properly promoted the facility for only promoted on one radio channel and the radio channel 95.7 never played one Y&T song and after they did the ads for the van this is not the proper way to do such promotion I'm not sure who's running the radio station but they surely didn't understand their own business and maybe the Warner's Theater doesn't either it is kind of sad that we're seeing a decline in service and in facilities throughout our state we see 30% of the nation's homeless on our streets many of them right there at the Warner's Theater that isn't such a pleasant thing either I guess we're in Decline Next Step Mad Max!

This place is so sad. The Warner theater was meant to be an opulent venue, it was horribly disappointing to go in and see how neglected this place is. I went in the evening for my nieces performance, and while the sound and lighting was fine, there were just so many issues with this venue. First, the bathrooms need a major update. There is actually a hole in the ceiling in the men's bathroom. Secondly, paint is peeling off of the walls, and the tiles themselves are either broken, cracked, or stained. And quite honestly, that's pretty much the feeling of the entire theater. This place needs a lot of renovations. The next issue are the seats. The seats are pretty close together and it does make it difficult to get to your seat, if your seat is in the middle of the row. I saw a whole rose of people get up, and walk into the aisle, just so somebody could access their seat in the middle of the row. What's so sad about this place is that it really shows its age. It was a wonderful venue when it was first built, but after years of neglect, it seems to as lost its sparkle. I can only hope that someone, someday, will restore the theater back to its original glory.

I got tickets to the Cinderella ballet at Warnors Theater and was so excited since I've never seen a show or anything in this theater. I was always told about how beautiful this theater was. It is very opulent, but just didn't have the magic I expected. I brought my aunt, my niece and mom and they all said they thought the theater was haunted. Why the 2 stars? Concessions was moving rapidly, we ordered 3 nachos, two popcorn, 2 sodas and a bottled water for $27. They asked for tip and I pressed no. They're not cooking or serving me dinner. The nachos came in a tostidos bag with cheese on top, when my aunt got hers, there was barely any nacho cheese on it. They said they portioned the nacho cheese. I showed them the bag and asked if they would eat that. They got upset with me and said it went to the bottom. I showed them the empty chips from the bottom and they were annoyed and gave me attitude. I would have rather they gave me the side of nacho cheese in the 2 oz souffoe cup instead of trying to put it on for me and probably wasting more nacho cheese than they put on. Worst concessions experience ever. The ballet was good and funny. The ambiance was very old haunted theater. Lol. Would I go back for a show? Yes, if I got free ticket again and that's a very big if but no if it were something I had to buy. Overall, disappointed with the state of the venue and the concessions stand. Bathrooms needed a major update as my niece got locked in the stall. Not ADA compliant since it is all the way down a flight of stairs.

Came for a performance last night. Really liked the old school vibe. Things were well organized. The draw back to this place is that the seating spacing is tight. If you are 6' you will be uncomfortable. If you need to get out everyone must get up/out. The worst thing about this place is the heat. It was incredibly hot. Even the common lobbies are hot. I know that the place is getting renovated, but unless they address the seating and AC I would not come back.

Enjoyed a good concert...traffic was light and great parking obtained. Would definitely go again to something here.

While the performances were stellar, the environment in this beautiful theater is less than ideal. The air conditioning wasn't working--felt like 150 degrees inside. Lack of ceiling fans, adequate amounts of restroom stalls as there were 4 out of order, and 3 remaining that were working. Two out of three sinks unable to use. Its charm and craftsmanship is worth saving and fixing this performance art center. Spending $$$ x 4 In tickets to be in these horrible conditions is a reflection on this city's historic legacy of downtown revitalization failings... it's been like this for at least a decade as an attendee of multi events with the same circumstances prevailing. Shameful and things need to change... There's High-school, College, University venues that are better equipped for a gathering.

Absolutely terrible ! We attended a concert there in late September and they had no air conditioning! It was so hot & muggy inside the theater ! A lady even passed out in the front row and the concert had to be stopped until they got her out . Just awful!!! It was a beautiful, gorgeous theater but definitely not worth it to sit through a concert sweating your a** off when all you are doing is sitting .

My husband and I paid over $300 to see the Air Supply concert last night. It was so very hot inside and apparently there was no air conditioning whats so ever! The place was packed and the seats were so close we felt like sardines in an oven! What's worse, I visited the women's restroom in the basement and had a long line. I finally got to the stalls only to see 8 of them with 5 having signs 'OUT OF ORDER!' WHAT!!! This place has NO BUSINESS HOLDING AN EVENT THIS SIZE with NO AC in the summer heat!!! We left early drenched in sweat and not feeling well!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND the WARNER's Theater for events and we WILL NEVER EVER go again!!!

This is absolutely the worst venue I have ever been to. The bathrooms had running water coming out of the wall. Someone should call the health department and have them shut down. I believe for 2100 people at the price of the tickets they can at least afford a plumber. Get some god damn AC or fans. The only air supply was on stage and even that was kind of old and stale.

Last nights concert with Air Supply had no Air Supply literally!! It was like a Louisiana swamp inside everyone reeling from smelling like pigs from the drenching sweat! Main floor bathrooms were locked. Downstairs bathrooms had several stalls out of order. Beers were cold but cost $12 and water bottles were $3 with the cost of tickets and refreshments you would think that management would turn on the AC or at least open the side doors to allow some air circulation. Won't be back and won't recommend unless it's in the winter time.

Wish I could give a zero-star rating. Management of this place should be ashamed of themselves. What a dump: No air conditioning (in scorching Fresno, no less), restrooms are ancient and dilapidated, seats have seen better decades, acoustics are awful, and management hasn't even seen fit to keep the marquee sign fully functional and lit. My heart sank when I saw this dump. I can't believe this place is even allowed to host concerts. Two thumbs way, way down. Indiana Jones would say "it belongs in a museum "--or in this case, it needs to converted into one. Never, ever again. My favorite band could play here and I wouldn't go. Shame on the management for this atrocity.

We went to see Lindsey Stirling do the first show of her Chistmas Tour for 2019. Her show was very entertaining. I didn't know Lindsey could sing! She is a humorous, energetic entertainer. Sadly, the theater itself left much to be desired - but 3 stars to them for at least offering an awesome show like this. Cramped seating, and higher than comfortable room temps detracted from the experience. I've been in public school auditoriums much more tolerable than this. The line for the ladies room was at least a 20 minute wait. Once down the stairs and inside the bathroom I was able to see that 2 of about 8 stalls were down, doors held closed with ugly masking tape - so tacky! The waiting room just before the bathroom itself was dilapidated - there was a bucket out there to catch the water from the leaking ceiling, and a hole in the wall that needed to be plastered up. Now that I think about it, Fresno hasn't even had any rain in quite some time so what was causing the leak? Has anyone in management even bothered to even take a look at the condition of that dirty little secret? Can't Warnors afford some repairs? Certainly with the house as packed as it was for that show, and all the others they host, there must be some profits being made here to put something in the budget for this concern. Furthermore, I found the staff did the best they could given what they had to work with but crowd control did not flow in a manner that I felt safe with. Despite them screening all attendees with metal detectors and bag checks overall, between leaking ceilings and overcrowding, this place felt unsafe - a catastrophe waiting to happen. I was so tempted to take photos of all the deterioration and post them along with my review but it was so shameful my pity and compassion were triggered. I felt I had to spare the landmark, and Fresno, the embarrassment. I will share the seating chart instead. The seats are as close together as they look in the chart - I'm only a fit 5'5" and there was barely any leg room. A person couldn't just get up and walk to the aisle unless everyone in that row along the way got up and moved out of the way. Just saying. Sadly, this is a beautiful time period building in need of some major TLC. I don't care who is performing there - I would not patronize this theater again until I knew that the overall experience would be one to remember for all the RIGHT reasons...Come on Warnors!

Went to see Air Supply and Little River Band last night. Concert was great, however the venue was horrible! Paid a lot of money for the seats and I wish we had some kind of credit back. There was no air-conditioning and half of the restrooms didn't work. It such a beautiful historic place. It' such a shame! We literally went through 10 cups of ice, just trying to cool us down. Had to buy six bottles of water to keep putting them on our backs to keep us cool. Hopefully they can get a renovation going soon because it really needs it. All things considered, the bartenders were very understanding and helpful when they could be.

The Roaring 20's continues to roar! From Prohibition to the Jazz Age, let's not forget about a little old theater in the shadier part of Fresno, CA. Although I've been to Fresno at least twenty times in my life, I've never really toured the city. We have family here and our visits to see them normally consists of visiting their family restaurant, going to their house, and passing by this lit-up golf land of some sort. So how did I end up at this charming and architecturally gorgeous 1920's theater? My cousin was getting married! This place is truly gorgeous. The grand majestic stage with long velvet drapes, the squishy chairs, the beautiful gilded ceilings, the sculptures, the engraved details, stain glass splendor, et cetera... it was a beautiful place for a ceremony! My Art Institute schooling was going haywire and it was easy to be swept up by the Art Deco surroundings especially when a romantic wedding was being held. The ambience is on point! My wedding dates were my parents and I had offered my arm to my mother when we went upstairs for an Italian Soda & Popcorn Bar. How adorable! The stairs needs a little work though because my mother nearly slipped twice. I'm not sure if the little empty space next door belongs to this venue but reception was held there and I wish they added some of the finer details they put into the theater. For all the gorgeous photos I got to take and all the meticulous detailing I got to soak up, 4-stars! I wouldn't exactly go out of my way to come back and explore some more when I'm in town but hey! It was a cultural experience I won't soon forget!

This theater should either be condemned or whoever is in charge should be fired. We went to a concert last night there and there was a Developmentally Disabled person that went into cardiac arrest, because it was so hot. We will never go to an event there again until they can prove they have upgraded the air conditioning and heating system in it. It is a beautiful theater, but needs modern updates to it.

Unbelievably unprofessional management. The place is an absolute dump; the 'non profit' in charge seems like a fraud they have made no effort to maintain the facility they just screw over people who want to host events. They change prices, argue, lie, fabricate fees, just avoid it all together if you are trying to host or coordinate anything professional. If you are trying to host a train wreck with moldy bathrooms this is THE spot to go. Heartbreaking that these stewards landed the theatre and proceeded to make it an even bigger dump.

Went to see Aziz's comedy show last night. The show started at 8 but the theatre did not open the doors until a few minutes before 8pm. We arrived at 7:30 and the line of attendees was already circled around the entire block. We did not get into the theatre until 9:30pm because there was only one entry and security line. By the time we sat down Aziz was already 1/2 way through his show that we paid to see. Poorly plaid Warnors Theatre. Hire more organized managers and staff to run your events. You should also open your venue earlier if you are only going to have one entrance and security for thousands of people. Very disappointing.

Back in the day this must have been a magnificent place to see a show. Today it's dirty, broke down, concessions ran out, bathrooms over flowed and the sound was terrible. Tickets were over sold. Never again will I go to a show at the Warnors Theater.

This is gorgeous historical building in Downtown Fresno that still functions as a theatre, must not be missed when visiting Fresno- because the sights, sound and atmosphere is truly nostalgic. This theatre opens its doors exclusively once a month to the public with a minimal fee of $5 (check website for more info), where you will get to watch various classical film series in this historic beautiful theatre designed and finish in an eclectic blend of Moorish, Spanish and Italian Renaissance Revival elements. It would be great to buy your tickets ahead online because there will be a long line, but or not don't fret the lines aren't like disneyland, maybe 5 minutes wait by the most. Don't be surprised if you see people dress up for the movies, because when I watch the wizard of oz, there were organizers that dressed up at glenda, and also the wicked witch. Free entrance is given to people dressed as closely to the theme of the film, check that info more on their website just to be sure what to wear. So for the wizard of oz, if you dressed up as a lion or tin man you will get in Free, how awesome right ! The opportunity to walk into this historic building is truly rare, and this movie screening is that perfect opportunity to explore and appreciate this beauty up close - they don't build impressive building with such art anymore. Parking is easily obtained across the street right where Fulton mall is located, it is safe and it is FREE, since movie screening is at 7PM, and almost all parking lots are free after 6PM in downtown Fresno. I do love how in the beginning the organist would play classical music on his organ on the centre stage while everyone is walking in and getting their seats, it sets a authentic feeling of attending such a beautiful theatre. It felt so magical. Then as the movie is about to start, the organist is slowly descended into the stage and the movie begins, the acoustically sound theatre makes everything sound perfect. During summer it can be a little on the warmer side despite the air conditioning blasting, but watching the classical movie is still enjoyable with such an authentic classic movie setting. This is my favorite building in Fresno because: the beauty doesn't just end outside this impressive building. The inside is finished with romanesque sculptures, Spanish villa courtyard look complement the humongous stage draped with scalloped grand curtains, its ceiling is just jaw dropping since the dropped dome is so beautifully and artistically finished., it feel like a work of art. The hallways are so grand with golden cornice and borders, and red carpets pave the hallways making it appear like a grand premier at hollywood.

Hadn't been here in years, still has a great theatre facade and Lobby but oh my, the bathrooms need an update.

Three huge issues. First, the sound is horrible. I don't know if the speakers are bad, poorly positioned, or you need to fire your audio engineer. Went for a comedy show and the sound was so muddled and reverb-y I couldn't hear half the stuff either comic was saying. The entire balcony had trouble hearing anything. Second, half the audience was rolling in late, causing shuffling and murmuring, trying to find their seats in the dark. I caught most of them saying the lines were long and people got in late. I got there 15 min before the show started and had no problem getting to my seat early, so not sure what the problem was. Either fix your ticket processing or shut the doors when the show starts so people aren't strolling in late and being disruptive. Third, in true Fresno fashion, the show had some dummies being loud, disruptive on purpose, and heckling. Staff didn't kick a single one of these people out when they strictly said they would before the show started. Help clean the city up and kick these people out like you said you would. Really through, the audio is shit.

While the Jackson Browne concert last night was beyond fantastic, the theatre was NOT. The lack of sufficient air conditioners made the temperature inside uncomfortably HOT. I'd guess the inside temperature to be 85-90. They were selling small bottles of water ($3), but ran out before the show began. We managed to get cups of ice water from the bar, but it wasn't enough to keep us cool enough to enjoy the show. If I wasn't a big fan and hadn't paid a pile of cash, I'd have left early like many others. I'd seriously reconsider the weather before ever buying tickets for another event here.

I came here for the first time in probably 30 years tonight, to watch The Neverending Story with my brother and two of his kids. I bow to Celestine for making this possible, and thank the good people of the Warnors Center for being gracious hosts. The Warnors Center opened in 1928, and that reality, made plain throughout the facility, is both a blessing and a curse. The elaborate decorations of the walls and ceilings, the presence of a balcony with a velvet padding at the rail, the love and care put into fine detail... it's impossible to find any more; it's just not done in modern theaters, and it truly is both beautiful and wonderful. On the flip side, the chairs are very narrow and not very comfortable, calling back to a time when people were generally thinner, and less demanding of their backrests and legroom. One of the seats my nephew tried to sit in literally had a spring popping out of it. Also, we sat off to the right, and a large speaker intruded into the viewing area. The evening started with a concert of live pipe organ music by a volunteer musician - again, a charming advantage of an old facility, because where else are you going to find a pipe organ? - which was not only performed flawlessly, but completely from memory, as he had no sheet music in front of him. Then one of the facility staff picked up the microphone to welcome us and remind us of some of the great places to eat and drink around downtown -- when was the last time you went to Edwards or Maya and a representative of the theater came out and addressed the audience? That was another touch, both classic and classy. The movie began, the projector perilously perched at the front of the balcony, and it was, of course, a wonderful little fantasy film, as it has always been. The crowd was very responsive, with lots of applause and cheers when things went well for our heroes. Then the movie suddenly paused, and it was intermission. This is one old-timey ritual I could do without. I know Warnors is in a neighborhood where it's tough to make a business go and maybe they depend on additional concession sales, but I prefer my movies to proceed uninterrupted, especially when they're only 90 minutes long in the first place. In the end, this was a great presentation in a classic and historic building, but it really was pretty uncomfortable to sit there all that time.

My wife and I had visited Warnor's to watch their film screening of Ghostbusters. I had never been inside before and when I first walked into the lobby it seemed like an old school movie theater. There was a concession counter to pick up sodas (canned), popcorn and candy but you'd better stop at the ATM first because it is CASH ONLY. After picking up our snacks we made our way into the auditorium and I was blown away. While the lobby was a little worn and tired, the auditorium has been restored with great detail. The main chandelier was incredible and I can't describe how surreal it was...almost like being transported decades back in time. They had an organist who was playing the hell out of an organ and the crowd was loving it. I spent most of the time before the movie just looking around, enjoying the beauty of this theater surrounding me. The setup for the movie could have been a little better as the speakers were blasting my eardrums (I was ahead of the balcony, so I could have moved back) and the screen was a portable setup...but it did not detract from the experience. I totally plan on going back for future movies and encourage you to make a visit as well. I'm sure you will be thoroughly impressed.

I saw Jackson Browne perform at Warnors theater last night. Fortunately, the performance was outstanding! Unfortunately, the air conditioning was not working and the theater was uncomfortably hot, over 90 degrees inside, while low 80s outside. Finally side doors were opened which helped a little. Everyone was fanning themselves and many left due to the heat. The theater is good acoustically but very run down and clearly needs a new air conditioning system.

I really wanted to like this place for their movie nights they do once a month, but the noise of the place made it difficult. I still had a good time, and the fact that you can have beer is great too, but the noise got to my boyfriend and I a bit. We started off at one spot, but the kid behind us was loud and the lady in front of us wouldn't get off her phone. So we moved at intermission to another area in the top corner, well that was worse because the guy in front of us there wouldn't stop talking after every single part. Literally every part. So we moved again, and could still hear him. I get that this isn't really about the service - the service was great.. it's just the atmosphere that you walk in to. People watching movies they've already seen so they feel that it's cool to talk throughout. It was pretty hot in there too.. not great when you're smooshed already. I would most likely go again because $5 is hard to beat, and I do love the ambience of the building, but it'd have to be for a movie I'd really want to see.

It's absolutely Gorgeous! If you like the outside, the inside is stunning. It's a registered historical site, in my favorite area of Fresno and it's currently showing everyone's favorite childhood movies. I highly recommend coming to see a movie with the family. Prices are much more reasonable than at the regular theaters and it's a great experience. Thank you Yelp for the tix :D

Went to a concert there last night. Don't know if the heater was broke or not on but it was cold. Everyone left their coats on. It was ridiculous. Nice theatre but needs a makeover!

Beautiful theater. Reminds me of the Pantages. Another Yelp viewer said it was built by same architect. I am having such a fun night with friends. I hope to come back for more events!

Last night was to be a memorable evening in a historic theater and Jackson Browne playing a portion of his music library. Jackson Browne is still a phenominal song writer and singer, and he delivered! Unfortunately, The Warners Theater and it's management delivered the wrong kind of memorable night. We had balcony seats and discovered that it was in excess of 90 degrees and no fans or air movement what so ever. It was a sold out or close to a sold out show so you can only image the heat all the folks sitting shoulder to shoulder generated. It was slightly cooler on the ground floor, but even the bands backup singers were using small hand fans to cool themselves during their performance. This was inhuman treatment of customers and performers by the Warners Center. Nothing like dressing up for a nice evening out and sweating like you just ran a marathon for 3 hours! The downstairs and upstairs bar area ran out of bottled water at 7:45 pm, the show started at 8 pm! The downstairs bar did provide free water cups with ice, but by the time you made the trip up and down the stairs your body temperature rose another couple of degrees! At around 9:30 bottled water was again available upstairs. Shortly after 10 I walked out to get more water and the bar upstairs was closed and had no water. Downstairs was out of bottled water, but was still serving free glasses of ice water. The concert ended at 11 pm. Some patrons took it upon themselves to open the exit doors on the balcony level to the outside, which allowed a slight cooling to begin of the upper balcony, only to be told by the security manage that no one was to step out the door to cool off. Security did open 3 of doors and posted guards next to them, but they closed and opened a few times during the remainder of the show as the staff didn't seem to know how long the show was going to last. It is apparent that the Warners Theater is not equipped to handle this type of large scale audience, no air conditioning, no fans, lack of water, and ill prepared staff. The managment group should be ashamed of themselves for selling such a poor service. I will not attend another event at Warners.

We've been to a couple of events here over the past year. The theater is the epitome of faded art deco grandeur: elaborate plaster gilded ceilings and surrounds; worn velvet covered seats; even stained glass sconces and exist signs. Minus a star because at the last event we attended, a lecture, the sound system was inadequate. Minus another star because it's in a seriously dodgy part of town. That and those worn velvet chairs were installed before the Age of the Big Booty.

Crazy Bernie and the Warnors theater go wayyy back. When I first moved to Fresno from NJ back in 1979 I was 19 and fresh out of the NYC party scene with epic punk clubs like CBGB, Max's Kansas City and the Mudd Club. The awesome shows booked by the good people at the Warnors (star palace included) helped me continue my mission of ripping it up with bands like The Romantics, Huey Lewis, The Knack, and all the big names from the early 80's. You could say that this theater along with its sister venue the smaller Star Palace helped make Crazy Bernie into the Man I am today. Thank you for the life shaping and for continuing to restore and maintain this beautiful theater with it's architecture straight out of 1928. I will go to everything you have that interests me.

Really love this theater. Beautiful architecture and friendly staff. Reasonable ticket price. They have the classic film series every third Thursday. People dress up, they really make the experience an event.

Beautiful venue and the experience is simply amazing here. We love the summer movie series. Super kid and adult friendly!!!

This is one of Fresno Last majestic theaters. Great care was taken to make this a historical monument to theaters. From Vintage movies, concerts and special events, This is one of Fresno's best. The area is slowly becoming the new art district and renovations are going up around the neighborhood. Overall I believe this is a great venue.

I'm all for preservation of architecture, and this theater is definitely beautiful. But at this point it wouldn't be a loss if you locked all the management and employees inside and burnt it down. Here for a comedy show. HALF an hour in line because they have ONE guy checking your license and giving you a wrist band. There's five sets of doors not being used. My ten year old could have figured the logistics out what is their excuse? And doors opened an hour and a half ago, and the line outside still reaches around the corner. Oh, and the theatre is a work of art, but the carpet that reeks of vomit, pretty sure this shit isn't original, change it already.

Fantastic venue. Saw Bonnie Raitt here and acoustics were awesome. Gorgeous old theater. Every seat is a good seat.

I took my girlfriend here to see Skillet as a birthday present. I kind of underestimated how far away Fresno was from Sacramento, but with Skillet being one of her favorite bands, and it being her birthday, I didn't really mind the extra-long drive at all. I don't know much about Fresno, if anything, but I would say that the place is located in an area that I would call downtown. Possibly? Not sure. But it isn't the nicest of areas. Fast forward to the actual concert... Our tickets were towards the back, which kind of made me mad. First off, I don't like going to concerts unless I've got general admission tickets so I can push my way up to the front. I didn't even see a dance floor here. Second, although this place is kind of nice in all of its art deco styling, it just seemed like an kind of place more fitted for classical music than rock. Rock isn't about sitting in your seat or staying in a designated area... The concert was pretty cool, though. The bands skirted the line of being Christian in their lyrics but mainstream in their sound. Only one band left me wanting to plug my ears, that being Hawk Nelson. I cannot begin to describe my discontent with with them, but this being a site to review places not bands, I'll hold my tongue. Overall, it's a decent venue. It's just not a place for rock concerts, unless they get rid of those seats on the main floor and make it into general admission.

Poor Aziz Ansari, who booked him at this venue?! I arrived at 7:15 and the doors were yet be open, the line roped around the block. While waiting in line outside, we were being screamed at by the burley security men of how there was no cell phone usage Allowed once in the venue, no heckling at the comic and with the continuous statement of threats of being kicked out of the venue if these guidelines were not followed. There is a kinder way of demonstrating this and not yelling at the patrons as if we were criminals of some sort. What a horrible impression this all started with! Prior to entering the venue there was four security people with handheld wands- they used the wand to check bodies and looked through purses. The whole organization was poor. The security was just yelling for people to come up forward to get checked. Again why are we yelling at the patrons? When at the the door, the facility only had one working hand-held electronic device that would scan tickets. There were plenty of ushers available to guide you into the theater to locate your seat. Perhaps way too many ushers were hired for tonight's performance. Several security guards were walking around, placed all over the venue as if they were like snipers only they're job was to seek out those who had a cell phone. We get it no cell phone usage, again there's another way you can approach this without making people feel as if they're criminals, or not welcomed into this venue. Oh, and by the way every single seat had a note attached to warn you of the rules for tonight. I requested an usher to stand next to me so I could turn off my phone without having issues with security. The lighting in the facility is super bad considering we were unable to use our cell phone flashlight, but the ushers also did not have flashlights!The show came on late, but there was no fair warning that the lights were going to go off and that the show is starting.This was such a back alley ran venue. The ushers didn't seem knowledgeable of the seating. Throughout the whole at least 40 minutes of when the show started there was constant noise of people walking into the venue trying to find their seats with the poor assistance of the ushers. The seating is so close to each other that it's so disruptive when there's late arrivals, since it requires everyone in the row stand up or move aside in efforts for everyone to find their seats. It's time to renovate this theater! The sound system is horrible!! It was difficult to hear the comics talking while there's so much shuffling around happening. This venue is very beautiful in its historic way. However the staff hired for this venue clearly needs training and a little bit more professionalism. Making them wear a polo shirt doesn't classify them as appropriate ushers or security. Proper training of safety and courtesy towards patrons would be most appropriate. Honestly, I was there just to have a good time. With Fresno trying to make downtown live again, this is not a way to do it Warnors! Your venue is so unwelcoming! If anything I was so disappointed. I will never buy a ticket to come to Warnors theater. It's an embarrassment that somebody so famous was booked in this venue. Take lessons from Saroyan Theatre, they're downtown and they are actually amazing! Never have I felt uncomfortable over there, they have even stricter rules, and their staff tend to always be knowledgeable, courteous and extremely welcoming. There is no excuse Warnors, it just seems this venue is financially cutting corners.

Warnors theater using etix and horrible costumer service. Do not use etix if can avoid. Really sucks

I am a season ticket holder so Attend all of the opening events where it is fun to meet my friends . We enjoyed the shows but the crowd and air conditioning made the experience worse :(

A beautifully preserved historic theater. The place was built in the late 1920's and still hosts events such as silent films (with original organ) and concerts. The architecture is gorgeous and much of the original detail, sculptures, engravings, etc are still there. They give backstage tours during ArtHop on the first Thursday of the month and that is how my daughter and I learned about it.

We planned a special weekend to see Chris Rice in concert here at Warnor's Theater. We drove 150 miles each way, hotel room, meals, gas, and someone to watch our 3 year old for the weekend. We get to the theater only to find out that the concert was canceled earlier in the week. Even though Warnor's had our e-mail address, phone number and mailing address, they made ZERO attempt to notify us that the show had been canceled. The lady and the ticket booth was of no help and didn't seem to care. We had to pressure her to give us any sort of answer, but I don't have the feeling that I can trust them to refund our money. Either way, I'm still out several hundred dollars because Warnor's doesn't care about their customer enough to even extend the smallest courtesy. If there was any rating less than one star, I'd give them that! The lack of concern, professionalism and courtesy was unbelievable.

This place is awesome!!! The lines moved faster than any theatre I've entered. I took 4 of my elementary age children, they had a blast! The live organ was a great addition to the night. We watched a movie and the guests encouraged to where character costumes was a real treat for the kids. The staff here are all super friendly. We had to park a short walk down the street, so get here early for the best parking. The intermission was a perfect amount of time, and the movie facts shown in the screen about the actor's really made watching a classic extra fun!

We went and spent a family date night seeing The Neverending Story. Best night we've had in awhile! The facility is amazing!! It was not my first time being there but it was for my husband and son. It's still just as breathtaking even after having seen it several times before! The entire experience was great. The staff and other patrons were fun and friendly. The organist was great. I liked the intermission, even though it was a short movie. It brings you back to a different time. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I would definitely come back to a modern classic movie here. You just can't get an experience like this at a modern movie theater! I'm sorry I didn't know about these series sooner!!

Went here last year to see Night Of The Living Dead. The old history of this theatre is awesome. The décor is beautiful! I got to hear the organ player before the film started and that set the tone for the film we were about to watch. It was fun to see people dressed up. Every month they have a film showing and people can get in for free if they are dressed the theme of the film. Everyone in Fresno should experience this at least one. I am absolutely sure this place has some ghosts residents also :)

Beautiful inside. Had a fun time watching The never ending story. I was surprised they have an intermission. I'd go back for another movie.

Terrible experience. Came for the e40 concert and we were told to sit and not dance. Also flyer said there was a bar for 21+ and the bar was not open at all. Rude security. Terrible staff. And no open bar...? At a concert. Won't be coming here again.

Was here last night at the KLove Christmas Concert. Great venue! Love the nostalgia of this place, my only complaint is that the theater is always cold. As evening progressed it got progressively colder. I seem to remember that the last time we were here for another KLove concert we were freezing. Other than that the aesthetics are great- Beautiful theater!
