The 18 Best Restaurants In Palma De Mallorca - The Infatuation

"There’s always a crowd gazing into the window at Fornet de la Soca. The baked goods are made from recipes collected from local homes and monasteries—there are sugar-topped ensaïmades by the slice (plus mini versions), with flavors like classic chocolate and cream, or a rare, old-style plaited potato ensaïmada. Crisp slivers of coca pastry topped with roasted peppers are another Mallorcan staple worth lining up for, as are the feather-light fig cupcakes. After you pick up whatever catches your eye, wander over to nearby Plaça del Mercat to eat on the benches under the trees." - isabella noble

Beautiful pastry shop with a wonderful atmosphere. Everything looks incredible the moment you walk in, with a huge variety of traditional and freshly made pastries. The quality is outstanding, we tried several items, and each one was delicious. The service was friendly, and the whole place has a cozy, authentic vibe that makes you want to stay and enjoy. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in Palma!

Wonderful traditional bakery in the centre of Palma. A must visit for any foodie. Some of the savoury choices were amazing. I'm an (English) pork pie lover and was interested to try the traditional Mallorcan pork and pea pie. Nothing at all like English pork pies, but utterly delicious 😋. Great for a quick lunch. My son and I went two days running just to eat the pork pie 🥧. Yum.

Beautiful bakery, like from another time! Everything we tried was incredible!! The enpanadas with flaky buttery pastry and really tasty filling!! My only criticism would be that more labels are needed to describe what everything is, as the busy sellers at the front dont seem to have time or be in the mood to explain everything.

Google
beautiful pastry shop to stop by if you’re in palma! pastries seems incredible, and there was even a cocarroi vegano / vegan available!! but it was too early on the morning to eat, so we just took two cappuccinos (plant based milk available and free 🫶🏽)

The shop is very beautiful and has a nice atmosphere. The service was good and the staff were kind. The desserts looked amazing, but unfortunately they didn’t taste as good as they looked. I was really looking forward to visiting this place, but it didn’t quite meet my expectations.

Really beautiful traditional bakery with vintage vibe. Only a few vegetarian options. Savoury pies usually get over by evening.

Absolutely disappointing! I was expecting the best ensaimadas and even bought one as a gift, but it just tasted like plain bread. Overhyped place with no real quality.

omg the friendliest stuff😭😭 we bought our ensaïmadas to take to our own country and they let us collect for later. Pumpkin filled ensaïmada was 14,5€. The delicious pastry (see the pic 3) was filled with delicious lemons 10/10 i can absolutely recommend
