The Cellar Wine Bar & Kitchen

This was our first time at The Cellar Wine Bar and Kitchen but it won’t be our last. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, we had drinks and charcuterie (which were excellent) but we look forward to trying the bruschettas, main courses and wine flights. Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely one of the best dining experiences we have ever had. The service was nothing short of spectacular. We celebrated our anniversary here, and the staff had a beautiful table set up for a private seating for my wife and I. It made it feel so special. Our server was so great, she was very fast and fun. Our food was delicious. The atmosphere was so nice. The selection of wine and food was exceptional. The chocolate tray was such a nice finish to the meal. I truly cannot say enough nice things about The Cellar. We will absolutely return again and again.

Made reservations, but we probably didn't need to. We ended up sitting at the bar instead the dining room or at a table. Our bartender / server was excellent with suggestions and spot on. We went with Korean beef, 2 different flat breads, (it was Pizza Friday, after all). The rum old fashioned was unique and delicious! If we found ourselves in South Bend again, would we come back? Heck yeah!!

I typically post a review if I absolutely love a place and here is one. Our server Alysa was very personable and helpful. I explained we were at a hotel and would prefer white wine with a screw top for convenience. She actually checked the wine ‘cellar’ to tell me what was available. We decided on a bottle of Pinot Grigio and it was a good choice. My husband’s ‘Adult Mac & Cheese’ with sausage was delicious especially with a side of glazed carrots. My Chicken Shawarma was very good and VERY spicy. Obviously, I needed ice cream for dessert! The shot of Baileys Irish Cream to pour over didn’t hurt either. ha! This is a restaurant I’ll recommend to anyone going to South Bend.

This place is overrated. We ordered bruschetta and steak. Bruschetta of four choices was ok but Medium rare steak was out with well done. Please be warned that the portions are too small.

Great atmosphere! Food is pretty good. I had Orange chicken that was a bit dry and the rice should have been cooked a bit more. Waiter didn't bring water until I asked. Bruschetta was really good! The best I've had so far. Staff was nice. I didn't wait long. Clean inside. I encourage anyone to try it. I would return.

It's a beautiful restaurant. The service was great and the atmosphere of the restaurant is really nice and welcoming. We had the Big Poppa and the Barbecue Chicken flat bread and the Fresh Peach salad, which we spilt but you could really make a meal out of it (which is the intent). We also enjoyed a flight of wines and a tasty cider. Definitely worth the visit!

I had been eyeing their menu for about a month and finally made it out for a nice dinner with my mom. Our waitress was so sweet and the food was pretty good. The bruschetta board was amazing. Such a cool idea to share. The adult Mac N Cheese was ok. I would definitely go back and have a glass of wine and try the chocolate board!! Thanks for a nice evening.
