People are still talking about how amazing the music and energy were at our wedding. Toast & Jam’s online portal makes planning incredibly easy. Coordinating the event, selecting music, and sharing details felt seamless and stress-free. Chris’s communication throughout the entire process was top-notch. He was professional, responsive, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. On the wedding day, Chris completely exceeded our expectations. He read the room perfectly, kept the energy high all night, and created an unforgettable atmosphere. If you’re considering Toast & Jam, book Chris immediately—you won’t regret it.

Toast & Jam did a great job with our wedding, from the initial introduction, pre-wedding preparation, and execution on the day. Chris Gemerchak was a great DJ and MC and Sax player that all our friends have commented on. He invested much more time than expected to get playlists ready, first-dance songs edited, and make sure we were all ready for our day-of timeline. Thanks for the great experience Chris and T&J team! You were part of an incredible day that we will remember forever!

Working with T&J made our wedding planning process a breeze! Our wedding day was the best day of our lives, in large part due to DJ Alli's skills and diligence! She was thoughtful and knowledgeable, helped us think throughout the flow of the day, and helped us curate a vibe that was so personal to us. She took last minute changes like a pro, and helped us incorporate cultural traditions and music into our ceremony. We got soooo many compliments on our music, from people all across the age spectrum and our dance floor was packed from beginning to end. Even our most reserved guests joined us under the disco ball! She helped us incorporate some really special moments through her music and emceeing. I'd hire Toast and Jam over and over again!! THANK YOU so much! My only regret is that we had so many leftover late night snacks because our guests didn't want to take a break from the dance floor!

Chris rocked our worlds!!! DJs can make or break a wedding, so going into planning we were pretty nervous about this decision. Our Coordinator recommended Toast & Jam and boy are we glad she did. From our first meeting with Chris we knew we were in good hands. He was able to effortlessly blend our wildly eclectic music tastes and hyper-specific cultural songs without batting an eye. He also smoothly MC'd the whole night. At least 50 of our guests have told us that he was the best wedding DJ they've ever had, so we know we are not biased!! His ability to read a crowd is unreal. The photobooth was also a huge hit. If you're considering it, DO IT, it was a perfect keepsake for guests. We cannot recommend highly enough Chris and Toast & Jam, our wedding was a certified banger.

I’m so excited to write this review! Toast & Jam is the BEST Chicago wedding DJ!!! Toast & Jam came recommended to us by our venue, Firehouse Chicago, and after pricing vendors and our priorities–a lit dance floor and amazing MC, we went with Toast & Jam! I am so glad we did, DJ Kate was incredible to work with and she really understood us and our vision. We love music and it's a central part of our relationship so we had some must plays for different parts of the day, such as walking down the aisle to The Cure, Friday, I’m in Love for our Friday wedding. She added in music that was exactly right for the moment that would make me look over at her with a big smile and thumbs up, that is how on point she was! Our dancefloor was packed and my husband and I danced for the entire 3 hours, it was exactly what we wanted and our guest had the best time! We are so grateful to Toast & Jam for really understanding the wedding DJ skill and going above and beyond to deliver the best time and memories. We absolutely loved DJ Emily! From the very first consultation, she took the time to understand our vibe, our guests, and the exact kind of energy we wanted for the night. Toast & Jam has an awesome guest portal that let us easily communicate with Emily throughout the wedding planning process. At the wedding, the transitions were seamless, the song choices were absolutely perfect, and the way Emily read the crowd was next-level. Every generation — from our grandparents to our college friends to the little cousins — found a reason to get up and dance. What really stood out was her professionalism and passion. Emily handled all the sound cues for our ceremony and speeches flawlessly, coordinated with the venue staff and our photographer without missing a beat, and kept everything running smoothly so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Toast & Jam also handled our lights for the night and it was so easy to pick the uplights we wanted, then sit back and trust them to make it amazing. We would highly recommend this vendor!

Toast & Jam DJs were fantastic!! Mary (the owner) was awesome about helping us understand the process, finding a package that worked for us, and pairing us with the **perfect** DJ! It certainly helped that Mary and DJ Emily E were fun & easy to talk to AND were familiar with our rather weird, niche tastes in music, haha! Emily played music that perfectly fit the vibe we were going for (even outside of our playlist suggestions). Even certain well-timed touches with the lighting from the "Gig bar" helped to make special moments like our first dance even more magical! She also made sure that there was something for everyone at each phase of the event, so that guests of all ages had a great time! She was also an amazing MC, bringing just enough energy and personality without being overly involved or disrupting the mood or flow of the event. I cannot recommend them enough!

T&J exceeded our expectations from start to finish. The entire planning process was well-organized and easy to access. Their attention to detail made us feel at ease every step of the way. But the real highlight of our event was our DJ, Damani! He was absolutely phenomenal. From the very first moment he started, he brought an incredible energy to our wedding that kept our guests dancing all night long. We received so many compliments about the music, with many people commenting on how smooth the transitions were between songs. Damani’s ability to read the room and adjust the vibe accordingly was nothing short of impressive. We specifically asked him to keep the party going, and he did so effortlessly, ensuring the dance floor was never empty. What truly stood out was the passion Damani has for his craft. It was clear that he genuinely loves what he does, and that passion was reflected in every beat he played. He helped make our event unforgettable, and we’re so grateful to him and to T&J for making it all come together so perfectly.
