"Rugged, wild, and untouched, Bathsheba Beach may be the star attraction of Barbados—and unlike many of the island’s pool clubs, this stretch of sand doesn't require a membership fee. Photographers and surfers flock here to catch the best waves and snap some shots of the beach's huge boulders. It's not an ideal place for swimming, but that shouldn’t stop you from lounging on the shoreline for a few hours." - Caitlin Morton
"Take a Stroll to Nowhere in Barbados Too often us intrepid experiential travelers can get caught up in the whole effort of trying to do it all. "I must explore this off-the-map place!" "I have to try this exotic dish!" It's easy to forget that sometimes the best way to get to know a place is to simply stroll aimlessly. Luckily, Barbados makes it an attractive prospect."

Bathsheba is a very scenic village on the rugged east coast of Barbados. It's coastline is beautiful with dramatic rock formations that makes it's beauty stand out. Great surfing beach but it's not safe for swimming. Bathsheba views are amazing. The most famous rock formation is the Soup Bowl while others may look like dragon heads covered in scales. The Roundhouse restaurant in Bathsheba offers fantastic views of the coastline and some of the rock formations. The food and drinks are good. Great outdoor deck for sitting and enjoying the gorgeous views. Strongly recommend a visit. Most taxi cabs will drive you there.

Bathsheba and the "Soup bowl" on the stunning Atlantic East coast of Barbados. If you're a surfer, then this is one of the best spots in the world 🌍

One of the most charming points of the island. We could not swim as the waves were high, but we had great time just by chilling in the park.
Really worth the visit!

Easily my most favorite coastal destination in Barbados. We spent a good half hour here wandering the beach. Large rocks jutting out of the ocean is just otherworldly.
Very quiet, not a lot of people around at the time.
A lot of sargassum seaweed though. It does have a bit of a smell and it’s thick and attracts bugs. But otherwise adds a bit of color and extra beauty to the scenery. I can only imagine what this beach would look like with none of the seaweed!

That's the eastern part of the island, the ocean site, famous spot for surfing. Absolutely beautiful. A must see and visit.

Beautiful rugged beach with sensational views.
Worth noting you can't really get onto the beach itself due to the rough seas and huge amounts of seaweed, and the area doesn't have much to do expect for a couple of small restaurants.
Still, I'd make time for this if you want to see some of the best views of Barbados.

Beautiful beach. It's not the best to get into a the rocks are sharp and can cut your feet. There are strong waves to knock you over, and lots of sea moss and weeds. I did enter though and the temp was nice, but I cut my foot so enter at your own caution. Best to just walk along the shore and let the waves touch you.

Came here on a weekday around midday. It is a lovely beach a little different from the others on the island. This beach is more rocky, and has rougher waves. If swimming or surfing please take caution and heed all warnings. It's truly a beautiful sight and very calming to watch the waves and listen to the ocean. There are areas to sit on the grass or benches as the shore is rocky in most places. Definitely worth the drive up here though. Would visit again.
