We came here with very high expectations based on the reviews. I'll say this, it was underwhelming. Our server, Claudio, was awesome! He was attentive, very nice, and very helpful!
For starters, we ordered the Sea urchin tacos, 2 different varieties of oysters, and the smoked trout dip. They also provided some bread, olives, and olive oil. The olives were delicious!
If you love uni, these tacos were delicious; Crunchy and smooth, slightly bitter and sweet from the Uni.
The oysters were fresh, sweet, briny and wonderful!
The smoked trout dip was our favorite. It was Creamy and rich and the crackers were snappy and savory.
For mains we ordered the braised beef short rib ravioli and the tagliatelle bolognese. This is where the underwhelming expectations come in. Both were good but definitely fell flat. The ravioli was better than the bolognese. We may come back but it won't be for the pasta. Overall, the place is classy but LOUD, the drinks are good, and depending on what you order, it's not always worth the price tag.
