We came here with very high expectations based on the reviews. I'll say this, it was underwhelming. Our server, Claudio, was awesome! He was attentive, very nice, and very helpful! For starters, we ordered the Sea urchin tacos, 2 different varieties of oysters, and the smoked trout dip. They also provided some bread, olives, and olive oil. The olives were delicious! If you love uni, these tacos were delicious; Crunchy and smooth, slightly bitter and sweet from the Uni. The oysters were fresh, sweet, briny and wonderful! The smoked trout dip was our favorite. It was Creamy and rich and the crackers were snappy and savory. For mains we ordered the braised beef short rib ravioli and the tagliatelle bolognese. This is where the underwhelming expectations come in. Both were good but definitely fell flat. The ravioli was better than the bolognese. We may come back but it won't be for the pasta. Overall, the place is classy but LOUD, the drinks are good, and depending on what you order, it's not always worth the price tag.

What an awesome experience! The Sardinian black ride was a surprisingly delightful starter, pleasant crunch with a kick! It was probably my favorite dish! We shared a few pastas and starters, and everything was incredible. The wine list was superb and everything we had was delicious. The service was so kind and fun as well. Highly recommend a visit.

Farina exceeded all expectations! The staff was incredibly attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, making us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. The rustic-elegant atmosphere added a warm and inviting touch, perfectly complementing the exquisite Italian dishes. Every bite was flavorful, beautifully presented, and a true delight. A top-notch dining experience in every way.

Had an amazing time! The service was excellent and the food was fantastic. If you’re visiting Kansas City, you definitely need to make a reservation here. We started with oysters which were delicious. We also had the Tuna special with an olive tapanade that was truly amazing. Of course the pasta was also delicious. Recommend the Summer Corn Cappelletti with chanterelle mushrooms. Great atmosphere too that wasn’t too loud and allowed for good conversation.

The food here was amazing and very unique. We had a reservation for my birthday and I'm glad too because it was very packed. We started off with the duck meatballs and clam toast. Then, my fiancé had the tagliatelle bolognse and I had the gnocchi with braised rabbit. Then we finished off the meal with some hazelnut tiramsu. You will drop some money at this place but everything was worth it. The service was amazing. It is a little crowded and loud which makes it hard to conversate at times but I think it was awesome and I would love to go back and try something else new.

Didn’t live up to expectations. My carbonara was pretty much a soup. Way too much sauce. Venue is more casual than I expected as it’s incredibly loud. I could hear my neighbors next to me more than I could my date across from me. Chef came out and made a few rounds which was nice.

Amazing food. Perhaps the best bar. Had a beautiful dinner. A good steak. Amazing gnocchi. The pillow were so light and fluffy floating in a bed of duck ragu. Amazing dish. Really. The German chocolate banana split was exceptional.

While Kansas City might be known best for having an awesome barbecue scene, the food scene is much more. Farina was excellent from start to finish. I recommend the potato gnocchi with roasted lamb and the tagiatelle bolognese pasta dishes. The carbonara was solid and no nonsense. For a main entree, the mozzarella stuffed veal chop was world class. To top off an already amazing meal, the Missouri Peach Trifle was sweet and refreshing. I plan on returning.
