Victor Bowl

We had a great time at Victor Bowl. The only thing that sucked is we had so many people playing that we ran out of time & didn't finish either of our games. The food was good.

We had a wonderful experience at Victor Valley Bowl! The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. We truly enjoyed our time there and look forward to returning soon. Thank you for providing such a fantastic atmosphere!

I was very excited to bring the children in my family after tragedy struck us suddenly the place looked promising bought our shoes and were on our way when and old man stopped us and directed us to go around due to the adults bowling competition going on which in itself was slightly annoying considering walking behind them shouldn’t have been such a problem at their age when we got to the lane which we paid for the kids were having fun a bit to hyped but since no one was next to us for 3 lanes going down I assumed it would be okay when a manager I assumed came. Over and rudely addressed my special needs children I emphasize children not me the adult about moving and not being in the way which I personally feel is okay to do with the adult not the children as well as nicely

This is our home center, great community goodwill, yummy food and some amazing youth coaches and bowlers. This place is becoming a cornerstone of our parenting/family development joirney.

My 2 star is generous only because I'm not local. I was visiting with friends and they suggested bowling. I bowl frequently with my own gear (that I did not have LUCKILY!), but I must say the lanes and atmosphere straight suck! I have never seen pins on a string before. Is this the first bowling alley on the west coast? $50 for an hour?? Why am I paying mechanic rates to bowl?? Couldn't even bowl 2 games!! Poor ventilation, poor lane maintenance and every house ball were so badly damaged they looked like people were using the balls in a construction site! I hope someone opens up something that looks like at least the early 2000's.

The summer special to bowl is really cool for the weekdays. The staff were nice. The seats/tables need some love, definitely the place needs some upgrades/remodel

I love this place, but I wish they would clean and oil their lanes more often. I'm not sure what their schedule is, but too often I encounter burnt lanes. The staff is great, and the place is large with plenty of lanes, but expect it to get busy on weekends around 6pm. The bar and pro shop are great as well.

Miss this place. Unfortunately, due to hand injuries from working way too many hiurs on a computer with no breaks, bowling I fear is no longer possible. Haven't told that to the 8 bowling balls in the back room. I spent so much time here growing up. I even met and shared a beer here with Roy Rogers. Again, I date myself some. But anyone who lives here in the high desert should know who that is or look it up. Great shop inside to get new equipment and balls drilled just as you like. For those of you who haven't bowled in a while, go enjoy this place.

There is a lot of weird people there and needs an upgrade and better lighting and the food wasn't so great

My husband and I wanted to take our 2 grandchildren bowling before they start school, $75 ! We wanted to bowl 1 or 2 games only but I would of had to pay for 1 1/2 hours, they act like their doing us a favor, anyways didn't bowl , kids were just fine with the decision

As a senior on a fixed income trying to take family bowling at Victor Bowl will never happen...they charge it the hour $50 to be exact...a family of 5 will cost them $10 a game plus shoes if they are blessed to finished 1 came each....now all of us are not pro's....get my riff....!!! had other issue on how to pay which they would not allow...sad..sad..sad family day for us...NOW I CAN SEE THEY RATED 2.0...!!!!

Worst bowling alley ever. Can't walk away from your lane without your ball or kids ramp getting stollen and getto ass people. Explain the issues to the workers and all they have to say is sorry. No , what can we do. I not impressed , won't be back and will tell all to not return

These are everyday pricing for apple valley bowling alley. Just 20 mins away customer service was great and the lanes work without error. They offer hourly and per game bowling also all you can bowl for 15$. Victor bowl only has one price and the lanes don't work and there's no a/c only swamp coolers. There's nobody you can contact to complain to besides Brian and he has the bowling alley setup like this so there's no point. Don't waste your time going. Plan ahead and save the trouble and just go to Apple Valley bowling alley you'll thank me later.

I'd give no stars if I could. I booked over a week in advance for 3 lanes during neon bowl which is 9pm to 11pm. My kids love being able to bowl in colored lights so I was okay with the late night event. We get there at 8:30 (as the reservation requested) took 20 minutes to get shoes for our party. They wouldn't let us set up the lanes with names and such until after 9pm. Asked many times for them to wipe off the table from the previous party that was covered in food and soda, no one ever came. At 9:30pm we went to purchase a few pizzas for the kids and was told the snack bar is closing at 10 and they aren't making anything that takes longer than 30 minutes. They said they were out of everything and only serving fries. Okay, whatever, we bought the fries. 10:30 rolls around and the party next to us is called to the snack bar to pick up their pizza. ANNOYING. My kids wanted to play at the arcade where 70% of the games were off.. but couldn't because the token machine was broken and they were "shutting it down at 10" why are we paying to be there til 11pm and not able to enjoy any of the things the alley has to offer after 10?! 11 rolls around and they shut the lanes down on the dot. Less than two hours of bowling, broken machines, no food, no games.. awful experience. Trash bowling alley, I will never be back. Oh, and the male cashier checking my ID made it a point to comment on the fact that I, a woman, was 10 years older than him. For what?! Rude.

My family and I arrived and attempted tobget a lane. The lady; who we later found out was the manager, told us there was a bowling tournament and that only six lanes were available and those lanes were already booked and there would be about an hour wait. My wife asked if we could just pay for lane now and we were told it was first come first served. She then proceeded to tell us there is no waiting list. We said okay we'll be back in an hour. After we returned we went to the same lady and said, " we're back, how long is our wait? " This lady then tells us It will be an hour and a half wait because there's a waiting list!!!!!! I told her I we we're here earlier to get on the list and you said there's no waiting list, That it was first come first served. My wife even offered to pay up front. All she did was say sorry and then asked do we want to get on the waiting list. If you're in customer service and a manager no less, why would you not offer us a place on the waiting list if you knew we were there waiting to purchase a lane? The manager told us she didn't know we wanted to be on the waiting list even though we told her we would be back in an hour and that we tried to pay to make sure our spot would be next. She should have offered to start the waiting list with us! My wife told her it was bad customer service and all we were trying to do is patronize their business. The manager seemed emotionless almost robotic, she didn't really care. Didn't offer any kind of compensation only a spot at the end of the line. I only wish there was more competition for business like that because she really doesn't deserve the business that she gets. On a side note maybe consider turning on the air conditioner It was kind of hot and dank in there.

We took our two Autistic kids bowling for their first time and we all had a great time!! The staff was great and helped with any questions we had. We will definitely be going back!!

This place is definitely a better bowling alley to go to. It's clean! They have a good bar, food smelt good and bathrooms were clean! I will definitely be going back to this place!

We came on a Sunday with the family. Still early on a Sunday afternoon. How do you run out of pizza and say that the parties are the priority i also tried to order chili fries but again they were out of chili. Second they switched us lanes because one of the lanes wasn't working properly. She forgot about us and failed to tell us which lane we were being switched too. She gave attitude to my husband when we informed her the bumpers weren't on For the kids but the other lady was kind to help us.

Food is pretty good, and the place is way nicer than it used to be. Being the only show in town, it's about as good as it gets. Staff could be a little nicer.

We came here because Retro bowl in Apple Valley doesn't open until 4PM. We walked in and walked right back out because they changed their prices. Apparently they are doing this thing where for 1-2 bowlers for 1 hour it is $50 and for 3-4 bowlers it's 90 mins and $75! This includes shoes which is nice except if you're like us and have all of your own equipment and the third player is a toddler! We could tell that the poor kid behind the counter has probably been yelled at a lot because you could tell he didn't agree with the price increase and there not being different pricing if you have your own shoes. Absolutely ridiculous - won't be going here again!

My family went to enjoy ourselves as we never go out together and we got a bit hungry so I went to get food for my family. I ordered pizza and wings for my brother. Later in the day my brother has been in pain later the night he ate it. He been awake not being able to get sleep and I feel it could be the wings as my whole family is ok but him. This could be due to cross contamination or salmonella but whatever was the cause of this is frustrating and sad to see my brother in pain. So I don't plan on going here anymore because of this incident be careful everyone!

This bowling alley was ok I guess. There was a league going on when my kids and I came in to play a few games on a Sunday evening. I was told that there weren't any lanes available, but a family member who is in the league was told that there would be an available lane for him. SMH. The lane we were at didn't have an outlet to charge our phones, which wasn't convenient. Our games were also continuously disrupted by a wild kid whose parents thought was okay to let him throw bowling balls in our lane several times! He had 3 balls stuck in the gutter in their lane and was running around. Not once did I see or hear an employee say anything to his parents about it. That's a safety issue for himself and others because he kept running around and throwing bowling balls like a maniac. I'm surprised he didn't hurt himself or someone else. Someone also left their drink and tray with food by our lane and it wasn't tossed out until the end of the night when they were about to close. I did see a ramp for wheelchair and stroller access.

They need to replace the swamp cooler with actual air conditioners. We are league bowlers and our teammates got injured because the approaches were tacky and nobody could slide. Please install air conditioners, for the safety of your customers.

ATA price of $50 per hour and no option to pay by game they have lost a consistent customer.

This place is a joke. They raised the price from $30 an hour to $50 an hour. A $20 jump is insane. The lanes are unprepared the restrooms are filthy.

We had my daughter's birthday party here and we all had a lot of fun. First time at this bowling alley and it was huge. Lots of lanes, staff were friendly and helpful. The pizza was fresh and delicious. Bathrooms could use a bit of work as there was no toilet paper or seat covers. We will definitely be back.

They said they sold out and it's empty worst place ever,wouldn't recommend coming.lanes where literally empty.

The bowling alley is average. The shoes are what you'd expect for rentals, so are the bowling balls. I would have appreciated better management and rule enforcement of kids playing without adult supervision.

If you're looking for an affordable(in THIS economy) family outing, go here & ask for Adam. He was polite, fun and assured we celebrated my aunts birthday right! The kids had a blast. The real surprise for me was the pizza was actually good!

As far as bowling alleys go this is an average one. 40 lanes, a bar, a snack bar, an arcade- you know the deal. Came with the fam. Got one of those ramp roller things for the 3 year old. We all had a good time. The customer service at the rental counter and bar is acceptable. I give it 3 stars ;)

The lanes were great. The customer service was decent but, it was a super busy Saturday. There's food and drinks available. My kids enjoyed the small arcade.

Needs new pins and pin setters. They put in new lanes but it's very Frustrating when the pins keep dropping and the pins are broken down. The tables and chairs, are badly in need to be replaced.

I was so grateful that this establishment honored a coupon that I bought over a year ago (due to Covid-19 reasons)... I had a great time with my family and the pizza was delicious. Will be coming back!!!

I called and spoke to Lady and she told me what time they open and close how much the bowling cost and I told her will b.. upon arrival, maybe less than 35 minutes later, she tells me they have no lanes because a tournament is going on not complaining but that could've been told to me before we arrive. I'm pretty sure she just didn't find out because it was a big tournament and it was a lot of people in uniform.

Victor Bowl is obviously under new management! I came bowling with my 3 kids 14, 10, 7. I was not allowed to ask for a size 6 ball and a size 10 ball . The RULE is one small per family . I was told to remove my daughters 10oz small water cup OUT OF THE BUILDING! No outside food or beverages are allowed. 30min into the night manager tells the bowlers next to me to conceal their cups and snacks ! Right in my face ! After speaking to the manager she tells me they are Leage bowlers . I'm sorry but rules are rules . Everyone should and will be asked to follow the rules . So rude and unprofessional.

Horrible horrible horrible! I am never the type to complain about anything, but the experience I had last night was ridiculous. The 2 young blonde ladies working yesterday 3/25/23 were just unprofessional. We put our name down to get a lane at 530, they never asked for a number only a name. They said it would take a hour. Which was fine with us. We didn't want to wait inside cause first off it looks like they're doing some construction so it looked tacky. 2nd off it was pretty crowded. So we decided to wait in our car. We came back in at 610, 40 mins after putting our name down just to see how much longer it was gonna take. Just for them to tell us we already called your name a long time ago so we gave away your lane & we aren't taking any more names down for the rest of the night. The worker was very rude about it. We were shocked because she said it would take over a hour! But we came back in before the hour was even up. If you can avoid this place do it!! You're better off spending your money elsewhere. In a establishment that actually has kind workers and doesn't look like it hasn't been cleaned in years! If I could rate it 0 stars I would!

I've been bowling 3 games a week for a year at Victor Bowl for around 15$. Just today the very rude lady behind the desk told me that they no longer have bowling by the game for individuals, just leagues. I bowled for an hour at 30$ when last week the hourly rate was 20$. Every time I picked up my ball I got a strong smell of black mold in the blower. This place is dirty, expensive, and not worth it.

after all these years, i'm shocked at how this bowling alley is still outdated. it's as if there is no management team or any plans whatsoever to make it a better experience. i'm only giving 2 stars solely based on the fact that you can book online in advance. however, not even sure if it made a difference because we went in at a time where it wasn't busy & they were able to give us a lane. we got assigned to a lane all the way at the end & as we're walking - there's caution tape all over the walkways AND there were construction workers working on about 4 lanes. it was so uncomfortable & unpleasant trying to bowl while they were using a table saw & walking back and forth in front of our lanes. we went in on a friday so you'd assume they'd schedule maintenance during a slow weekday. our ball got stuck twice (they fixed in about 5 minutes each time) so not really complaining about that. another downfall was the fact that we didn't have a choice for the bumper lanes to only come up while the kids bowled so we had to have the bumpers up the whole time which the employee had to manually do. my kids usually don't complain because they're always just trying to have fun but this was the first time, they didn't like the atmosphere while playing and just wanted to go home. management, if you're reading this -- it's 2023. i think it's time to upgrade the place.

Ordered a pitcher of beer and soda. Both tasted watered down. Received a gift card to this location. It was not accepted. What a scam. Why sell gift cards if your just going to stop accepting them and pocket the money? Damn thieves with your watered down drinks and shady business practices.

This bowling alley is not good. The new method of paying for a lane is to pay by the hour which really takes away the joy of a relaxing game of bowling. You're constantly worried about trying to get everyone through bowling before your hours up as you're watching the countdown timer, stressing you out. Go back to charging per game instead of by the hour. They used to bring your food out to your lane so you could keep bowling, now they make you go pick it up. I ordered a pizza and a pitcher of soda and they called my name and I stood there with my hot pizza getting cold while they helped another customer and then five minutes later I got my pitcher of soda. Very bad customer service. Also, the lane we were in wasn't working properly and kept not returning our balls, so we were running out of time because of all the malfunctions in the lane, which was very frustrating. And finally, the drinks in the bar were way too expensive for being served in a plastic cup. If I'm sitting at a bar. I expect a nice cold glass and a nice drink, not a plastic cup like I'm at a baseball game. This place is low class in my opinion. I will definitely not be going back to this bowling alley again.

Ok so they do have new front desk people. Very friendly and responsive to customers. The bathrooms are not good and the whole place isn't cleaned very often. The bar is overpriced.

Not worth the money to bowl. 30$ for 1 hour, the balls never return, complained about it they said no problem we will fix it and it happens 2 more times. Then the lane 27 we were on kept getting stuck and not resetting. Me and my girl finally said forget it and asked for a refund and only got half of our money back. never going back and I hope you all follow my lead.

Terrible experience yesterday. The customer service was absolutely unsatisfactory. I go in to put my name down and the front desk dude (we'll call him Jared; sorry to all the Jared's our there who aren't pricks), said the wait would be about at least two hours before we would get a lane. I understand that it's approximate and it could change. So my lady and I go to grab socks and grab socks and a drink to kill a little time. We are back within 40 minutes and just happen to check with Jared to see the wait time left. Jared: well I already called everyone on list. I told you you needed to wait here (points to insignificant area) and if I call you twice I will cut you out of line. Me: I understand man, but you said a minimum of two hours, so we grabbed socks to kill time... He rudely cuts me off saying he called us and we weren't waiting where he had said. I understood, and asked him to put my name down again. Jared, immediately partakes and patronizes us saying " well you are looking at another approximate two hour wait, and I'll call you" Mind you, we waited around and he made eye contact with us a few times and did not call us. We had went up to check with other individual working there, and he was very kind and got us a lane immediately. He was very friendly and accommodating. I can't remember his name but he had shorter hair. If you run into (made up name Jared) he had glasses and longer "skater" emo type hair. I'd avoid his bitch ass at all costs. I'm usually not this rude, but he irked myself and my girl when we wanted to just bowl. Seemed to take his job EXTREMELY too seriously and had a power trip.

shoutout to the bartender with yellow/green hair, let's give her a trophy for the WORST customer service i've ever experienced. as she served me, she talked badly about the previous customer. if you tell her what beer you want, she'll ask you 3 more times what you ordered because she can't seem to comprehend a word you say. neon bowling was fun though.

6 stars for customer service, 4 stars for being a little run down. My wife and I came on a Saturday afternoon and there were no lanes available. We waited a little to see if one would open up so we could get a game in before our movie, but it didn't work out. On our way out, the manager Jerry gave use vouchers for 2 free games. We came back after our movie and he remembered who we were and threw in free shoes as well! The shoes and balls were a little worn, but we enjoyed ourselves. If anything comes up, ask for Jerry and he'll make things right

Good thing for fun, but not good area to spend your fun time. I can't believe how scary people around they are not friendly at all. It's so annoying that people keep trying to take our balls. I hope they could keep things more professional.

Went here with a group of friends last night, everything was good except the fact that our pins kept flying out of the back to the middle of the bowling lane. They then switched us lanes to the other side of the bowling alley. We ordered some food and the pizza was undercooked and was soft and doughy in the middle, literally had flour in my mouth. Next day, and all of us are showing symptoms of food poisoning. Only two bites from that pizza. Never again.

If I can give this business a negative star, I will. It's very seldom I give a review. Either the business will do really, super, good or super, super bad. I paid for the 6 rental shoes ($4.25 a piece) when I made a reservation but when we got there, the lady said they don't have any more shoes to rent and even I paid in advance she said they don't give refunds. I said I needed to get refunded if I don't get the shoes. So, out of the blue, the lady went to the shelf and found some shoes that she gave me, although a couple of them are broken. When we want to exchange, another worker, a guy said they don't have any available. So I'm confused they said first there is no available, then they suddenly were able to produce them, now they don't have availability. So if you don't have available then refund my money but they refused. I felt this business stole my money. I think that is not right taking your money without an exchange of a product or service. Bad business!! If you can go to other places to bowl do that instead of here. This will be the last time I will go here. The SUPER WORST service ever. Business acting like this won't last as customers won't come back.

We came for an event that was previously booked and we ordered a personal pizza and chili cheese fries. We ordered two drinks and were told their soda machine was broken so we could only order pink lemonade or ice tea so we got pink lemonade. As we are waiting for our food the people in the kitchen start arguing in front of customers, they start walking in and out of the building then another person is called to help, she's upset obviously and I can hear her cussing, great impression on us who are here for the first time. Then I'm told I have to wait longer because while all the drama was going on, my mini pizza burnt. We first ordered at 4:42 pm and I got my mini pizza at 5:30 pm not to mention that the chili cheese fries were salty and my mini pizza was not fully cooked now. It tasted like a lunchable, cold and soggy. It's unfortunate that this happened to us because we came from an hour away to enjoy our soccer team's victory and we felt taken advantage of by the employees who work at the bowling alley. I work in customer service and this is for sure not how I treat my customers. We won't be back.

Very cool place to go just make sure they don't have a bowling tournament set up cuz then you'll be sol. But cool place with beer and pool tables and arcade for kids. Foods not the greatest but your at a fuckin bowling alley what do you expect. Go to have fun and yeah they don't manadate the masks if you're afraid of people without them then stay home weirdos.

The worst experience by far we had 8 mins left and they told us in 2 mins they turning off the lanes we have time left and u cheated us out of our game and money. The black lady with braids was rude and disrespectful talking about don't come back because I said do we get our 8 mins worth of money back because u turned off the lanes before we finished our time bowling and I had just threw the ball. We had money and bets on the game we play in league games so that was the most disrespectful thing ever we lost money both ways. The staff was rude and disrespectful here we will never come back again and I advise no one else too

literally the worst bowling alley ever the balls are constantly stuck and when you ask or tell them they complain about it constantly your time is going down while you wait and they do not fix it . It's an absolute joke to even bring your own balls as you pay 30 for an hour but only get to play about 30 minutes. Manager needs to do something but Is never here so forget about talking to her about the issues

Call before you go if you are going for a "special ". Hot Dogs $1.25 Beer $2.00. No hot dogs no beer just attitude from the girl at snack bar after I told says "the ad says hot dogs $1.25 she said " it also says subject to change". She was snotty! Next: lane 19 not working! Does not score right told staff they all blew me off. Hey if your bowling stinks ask for lane 19 guaranteed to get at least 5-9 pins even if you throw gutter ball . The staff acts like it's no big deal . If I was on a league I'd be even more upset! Shut the lane down till it's fixed! The scoring doesn't register for first bowler until second bowler throws first ball.

Trash customer service, came for a quick game 9pm and they seriously denied service. Definitely a gutter for this fine establishment.

Changed to hourly rate, way too expensive. Both women behind the counter are consistently rude and arrogant. I bowl for my college friends in Arizona and am back home for the summer and this alley is just awful. This would be my last resort if you want to bowl. Maybe try oasis lanes instead, at least they don't yell at you from behind the counter.

This place has had some upgrades on computer systems as well as cosmetic. Screens were easy to operate and loved that we have the option to personalize whether or not we played with the bumpers down. This location was fairly clean and bathrooms were well maintained. Lockers are available they have an arcade inside. They have had a daily summer special for $45 which includes 1large 1topping pizza, a pitcher of soda, and 1hr of bowling for up to 6 people. This includes shoes. Depending on ages in your party one hour is sufficient amount of bowl time. The pizza was surprisingly good,even though it was a frozen and preheated style. Customer service was okay our cashier which seemed to run the place was nice and friendly but slightly distracted. Great prices for large families. Was pretty happy overall and will spread the word on this deal. I plan to most definitely be back.
