I do not live close to either of their locations so I unfortunately do not get to visit as often as I would like. However, my mother does live within 15 minutes of this location, so when we visit her, I like to stop by for some produce and other items. The veggies I generally find to be in pretty good condition, the fruit can depend on what time of day you go. I've gone closer to closing when a lot of the nicer looking fruit was snatched up & a lot of the bruised/squished containers are left behind. However, when I go earlier everything looks fresh & tasty. The prices are fantastic, way better than most of the groceries stores around the valley. I like that they also sell regular food items like meats, cheese, chips, drinks and more. The pickled section of goodies is lovely as well. As mentioned, they generally have pretty good prices, however a few things are a little "pricier" so the total can sneak up on you, if you aren't paying attention. For example, they have a wall of candy & chocolates, the chocolates sounded like a nice treat, so I grabbed two or three from a few flavors that sounded good and was surprised when it came out to $12 as the weight didn't feel like that much to me. When grabbing some of the items in the little room off of where the lettuce & such is, make sure to double check the dates before buying anything. When I was there a few days ago, I noticed they had some Halloween toll house cookie dough & almost grabbed it, but then noticed it expired recently. Other than that, I've never had any issues with the products I've purchased there. I love that they carry one of my favorite local lemonade brands (AZ lemonade stand). There is plenty of parking & even when they are busy, things generally move pretty smoothly. The staff I've interreacted with have all been friendly & helpful.

The produce here is less expensive than your typical supermarket. I spent $67 and got some great deals. I bought honey too. You will need to choose wisely and open every pint to view the berries. This place is great if you are a juice enthusiast. Most of the fruit I bought was ripe and ready for consumption. My family of 6 definitely enjoyed our refrigerator full of fruit options. I recommend if you want produce for less coin.

My first time here and it was great. Lots of selections, great price and wonderful staff. Market is small, so be sure to not blocking the aisle with your carts. Fantastic experience!!!

I purchased this watermelon on Sunday, July 6 and was disappointed with it. This and a bunch of other watermelons were stored as a display at the front door, not a good idea. They were exposed to the sun and heat. This watermelon was pithy and watery, not edible.

Amazing prices on fresh produce. It's hard to get good deals on fresh produce and I found it. Too bad it took me so long. I suggest to check out any of the pains and get some great items I only find in their stores and the amazing pricing, fresh is better.

I visited Superstition Ranch Farmers Market in Mesa this weekend and had a great shopping run. The produce section is impressive, tons of fresh fruits and veggies, and the prices are hard to beat. The place is easy to navigate, the parking lot is convenient, and the staff were friendly and helped when I asked about something specific. If you’re looking for quality produce and specialty items in the East Valley this weekend, this market is a solid pick.

Very affordable and great! They sell all types of fruits, veggies and grains at a super cheap price and you can even buy in bulk. I was able to get all these items for my weekly meal prep and only paid $27. If you’re looking to eat healthy while sticking to a budget I would highly recommend this place!!⭐

This place was extremely busy on a Monday afternoon on a rainy day. Huge parking lot, extremely busy farmers market inside. It's a huge place, I'm not exactly sure the size because there were about 11,000 people inside and I decided I didn't like being a caged animal so I didn't stick around to check the whole place out. It's hot, it's humid, it's busy, they have great prices, they have fresh produce, it's certified 'natural' or whatever label you want to throw on it, looks good to me. They have an excellent selection of Taffy for an excellent price of $4.99/pound, in this economy, end of 2025, $4.99/pound is unheard of. And this is the good taffy, not that cheap crap you find elsewhere. Checkout process was fast, however it was an extremely chaotic shopping experience, extremely fast paced. It almost felt like I stepped into an 'end of the world' sale, people were going absolutely nuts trying to get their fresh foods.

I think the local influencer shout out needs to go to Paula C because she has referred so many new patrons here! Ever since my initial visit, my husband and I have frequented this spot. I follow their social media for their weekly ads. I have been so satisfied with the quality of the fruits and vegetables we've gotten. My toddler loves strawberries and they are so bright red and juicy! This was a delight to come across. I am to support something so very local!

My friend Paula loves this place and I knew I had to check it out when I close by. They have fresh fruit, vegetables, baked goods, canned goods etc. It was BUSY and the aisles are hard to squeeze a cart through. There is so much to look at and we bought some apples which were HUGE, grapes and a blueberry loaf. The prices are cheap and the produce all looked fresh. I wish we had a store on the west side. I cannot wait to come back!

YA'LL. Let me put you on this amazing place! Local produce worth your buck. Tons of Strawberries, grapes, tomatoes, cheese, and tons of bread to choose from. It's been 10 years since I have been here and as soon as you walk in, you are met with all the goods within steps of the entrance. These are local farmers and bakers who make it perfect to start fresh sandwiches. Make it fun and cook at home. The service was quick and simple the clerks were so nice. Now that the summer is coming they do sell ice and water. $2-$3. Major kudos for playing some throwback hits as the music. It was clean and spacious inside, definitely doesn't look like that outside. 10/10! Must visit!

I love this place, and have been going since I was a kid. It is a fabulous place for produce, and locally made products like salsa, sauces, fresh tortillas, breads, jams and jellies. It's a great place to get souvenirs like cactus jellies, syrups, and candies. They carry CerretaCandies, which have been made in Glendale.The one caveat, the berries do seem to spoil quicker.

I live in North Phoenix, saw this place when visiting Mesa and pulled in. I was amazed at the prices, the quality and variety. The guys stocking the produce were so friendly and helpful. Way cheaper than Sprouts, will definitely go back.

I love the Superstition Ranch Farmers Market! I honestly forgot it existed until I went a few months ago and wondered how I ever managed to! They have such a great option of fresh and local produce, a variety of unique seasongs, salsa's hot sauces, candy, and so much more! It was a lot of fun to look at out the various items they had and we snagged so many fresh berries and other fruit while there. They definitely stay busy, so prepare for lines and crowds. The specific day we went was an anomaly where their credit system was having issues making each transaction take much longer than usual. This is not something that happens often, but the team was still chipper and doing their best to keep things moving quickly! I will definitely be putting them in my regular rotation.

WOW! A WHOLE NEW LOOK!!! After years of doing our produce marketing at SUPERSTITION RANCH FARMERS MARKET we walked in to a BIG SURPRISE. The store had an updated look with all new refrigerator cases and a whole NEW organization and NEAT new look. This is a GREAT IMPROVEMENT over the old look. Welcome to a new age of a shopping experience. It is a major upgrade and a clean, new look! GOOD JOB!

Superstion Ranch Market is truly 5*. I can't recall any thing less through them in probably 40 years? Simply stated, it is really a people's market. I am nothing remotely close to being an expert. I not seen anything that ever looked to be be less than in excellent condition. For this reviewer I perceive them as great communicators. I have been assisted by every employee be it cashier, people bringing out produce to the manager. I spoke with him one time, years ago, on the phone, and he encouraged me, to say hello to him, in a future visit. Best quality, variety, excellent store condition, good pricing, fast, friendly, highly efficient cashiers. I drive considerable distance knowing of Superstition consistency especially. Busy market but never a problem parking or moving a cart through the market. Bagging is always sensibly accomplished. At many other stores my common mental complaint is illogical bagging. The shopping carts are always in good repair. What ever they do the do it well. It is easy to drive in and out of the parking lot. Other customers are friendly.

Mesa market was better before they put in the freezers and took away the great deals and the farmers fresh vegetables and fruits Prices are much higher to compensate for the freezers they put in. What a real shame! there aren't anymore deals like it used to be! Same prices as the grocery stores. I won't be going back. wrong price on items they forgot to change the price card which I found out and asked for the price on the price card which they gave it to me -then removed the cards. they change there prices higher on Wednesdays! be aware!

My family loves Superstition Ranch Market! We go on nearly a weekly basis for seasonal food at an incredible price. At a time where groceries are ever-increasing in price, it's nice to have somewhere where I can buy as many fruits and veggies as my kids ask for. Their selection does change often so I wouldn't recommend going if there's just one thing that you really need, we go more with an open mind and let the selection guide us. Plus they post their weekly deals on instagram so I would highly recommend giving them a follow. As an extra bonus, kids get a piece of fruit for free with each visit!

Really wanted to love this place! Found the selection of produce to be the same or worse than my local Fry's. It's an odd mix of items they offer along with fruits and veggies. But be careful!! Some stuff was moldy and found several packaged items in a side room were expired! Wish the place had been cleaner too. Really hoped to be able to add this to my regular shopping rotation but likely will not be back. Too bad.

My husband and I went in today and the cashier who checked us out was so patient, nice, kinda, and friendly. We asked about some info and she responded to us in the nicest way, answered any questions and explained everything throughly in the best attitude possible. I loved it because I didn't feel weird or rushed in asking. Overall the costumer service was awesome.

Love this place, especially when you miss the weekend farmers market in town. This indoor market has fresh produce and many other goodies from local farmers and small business owners with reasonable pricing. The service is always courteous and friendly and you're greeted with a smile every time. The atmosphere is open and well lit for you to get the best produce selections. I suggest stopping by when you want that local farmers taste.

We've been coming here for 10-plus years. A little history - Superstition Ranch started out as just one man selling citrus out of his garage and, over the years, it's grown to be a a place for home cooks, professional chefs, and families just looking for some sustainably sourced groceries. They try lto keep things local whenever possible. They have two locations. They have a huge selection of produce and products from across Arizona. There are even specialty items, like bee pollen and salsa. This is the place to go If you're looking for great groceries and local vendors.

I've been coming here for several years now and I love it! The store is bright and clean, and is my absolute FAVORITE place to get local goods like pickles and hot sauce. Their pickles are addictive, and I'm running out of room for anything else in my fridge. The product I love the most is their Tio Ceddy's Agua Chiltepin. I literally drink it straight from the bottle; the flavor is incredible! The produce is great quality, and it's a great location if you're needing to get veggies and fruits to juice or meal prep.

UNBELIEVABLE !! $16 for 15 items, including 4 packs of strawberries at 99c each, ginormous Brussels sprouts I could not pass up at 49c/lb !! Organic celery sticks, 4 pint size green peppers for a buck, a couple pounds of mixed grape and heirloom looking teeny tomatoes at 69c/lb, just look at these pictures.

Seen the recent ad stating watermelon for $2.99 ea. Was hopeful since it was the end January when I made the purchase. They were about twice the size of a small personal size and I bought two; one I threw out because it was mushy inside. The other I'd give a 3.5 out 5 because the sweetness and texture. I also purchased these which were minimally sweet: strawberries, blueberries, green grapes, corn on the cob. I bought a case of 9 mangos and so far, of the 6 I've eaten, half were over ripe (soft, brown flesh). I haven't tried the grapefruit or radishes yet. It seems this place must rescue produce from going to waste but the quality is already inferior by the time it's sold. I bought what I thought was a good price, however, many of the other produce, including some of what I bought, seemed to be comparable in price to sales at other stores.

1/14/22 Quality/Quantity - Wow. Glad we discovered this place. Everything looked fresh and good quality. The produce was definitely a hit. They supplied Superstition brand herbs, bread from local bakeries, and bulk candy. Atmosphere - Nice local farmers market. Plenty of parking. Self service ice machine. Service - Good, friendly. Price - Ridiculous low prices! Cheaper than my favorite produce supermarket in Oakland, Cardenas. Owner Suggestion - Congrats on your 2 locations since 1966. Whatever you are doing to keep your prices low, keep up the good work.

Awesome prices on very fresh and great looking produce. I can't find cheaper prices anywhere else. They have a small selection of fresh meat that's been butchered locally, vacuumed sealed and frozen for purchase. I know I've saved a lot of money shopping there. The employees are very friendly too.

What a find! The produce is fresh and the prices are amazing, great variety! The bread options are from a local bakery in Tempe, I think I just about purchased everything. Meat options from a local Scottsdale Meat Shop. Jarred pickled veggies from Superstition Ranch. Fresh popcorn made right at the entrance with free samples. Highly recommend!

This place is a go-to delight, especially when one misses the weekend farmers market in the city. It's an indoor marketplace featuring fresh produce and a host of other products from local farmers and small entrepreneurs, all at fair prices. The service is unfailingly polite and amicable, greeting you with a smile always. Its well-lit, open ambiance allows you to make the best choices of produce.

Everything I got was so fresh and love the homemade salsa and chips I just love it all just have not been in a very long time

As a young mom I can really appreciate being able to get inexpensive fresh produce here ...but unfortunately the last few times I have shopped here there has been a cashier who was extremely rude. The first two times she was my cashier and I did not let her rude attitude bother me. But today I came in and was in line for a different cashier when she came up and started shouting to someone to make an announcement they are closing and then she said "I want to leave, these people need to get out". Again I brushed it off. But what made me make this post is when she yelled to a much older woman "why are you standing there my lane is open, move over here we're all trying to leave" she continued being rude as she checked out and the older lady was even apologizing to her saying "I'm so sorry I can't see very well". I was appalled.

Great prices! Lots of great deals. Not a farmers market but many produce items are from local and California farms direct to Superstition Ranch. Produce needs to be used ASAP. Fantastic local sausage and eggs from farm including duck eggs. Fresh milk. Local salsa, sauces, jellies, and spices. Items tend to be more on the healthy side. Just check it out

The food is so fresh we visit here two or three times a week. The food is so fresh and the service is outstanding. The place is so Big and decorated so nice. Don't forget to get your green chiles before there gone.

My three-star review is based on this rating -- 4 stars for products and 1 star for marketing. I find it so very frustrating that on numerous occasions you cannot review their current weekly produce ad due to the fact that is has not been posted to their website. What reputable retail establishment does that? Such shoddy marketing workmanship!! Today is Thursday and the ad is still not up. So you couldn't see the ad yesterday nor today, since it is still not up. I shop there frequently, and it is such an annoyance that they cannot keep their website up-to-date!!

Driven by here so many times. Finally came in to check it out. It's a cool little grocery store that reminds me of an old fashion place. Lots of fruits and vegetables ,not too much local though. But a little. There's a large selection of fruits and vegetables. As well as yes, they do carry organic also . There are lots of cool different brands of honey, salsa, and even some Amish jams and jellies all the way from Fredericksburg ,Ohio . Who would ever think you'd find that here. There is lots of parking in the parking lot. Remember it's on the south side of Main Street. It's a cool little western grocery store in a big city

It was such a cute farmers market! Everyone who works there is so friendly and helpful. By looking at the produce it was obvious it was fresh and locally grown. Be advised however not to go on a Sunday because it's extremely crowded, however, if that's the only day you can visit, then by all means.

I had not been to Superstition Ranch Farmers Market for a year or so. I was pleasantly surprised to see how much it had changed. From a disorganized market to one that is so organized and clean was a great change. All fruits and vegetable were fresh & priced many cents or dollars cheaper than the grocery stores...i.e. romaine lettuce $1.29; brussels sprouts $1.69 lb.; tomatoes $1.29 lb.; red plum $.50 lb., etc. I will be back probably in a week or so!

This place is great! It's a farmer's market with farmer's market prices. I've been to other farmer's markets here in the Phoenix area which have had nice looking produce but Whole Foods prices so it's refreshing to see a place that is actually reasonably priced. The produce is very fresh and neatly arranged. They have a nice variety of fruit. They had a type of apple I had never seen before that's pink on the inside which looked really delicious, and at only $.79/lb too. In addition to fresh food, they have a wide selection of canned/jarred goods such as salsas, pickled things, pies, spices, and nuts just to name a few items. If it's busy the aisles can feel a bit narrow and crowded but it wasn't too bad when we were here on a Saturday afternoon. I ended up with a basket full of produce and I only paid $5 for it! If this market were closer to me this is where I'd shop for groceries all the time. Sample prices (12/2018): Apples $.79/lb Bosc pears 3 lbs/$1 Red potatoes 2 lbs/$1 Eggplant (Huge and so fresh!) $.99 each Green onions: 3 bunches for $1 Broccoli crowns $.99/lb Asian pears 2 for $1 Mastercard and Visa accepted!

Absolutely the best place to get produce! Everytime I got here, the deals get better and better. The selection is always top notch and they have a good selection of organic fruits and vegetables. They also have wholesale available for local businesses. Oh! They also have cheeses, salsa's, candies and local made breads which is a great way to support your local businesses. I bought some bread there that happened to be from the bread basket and now that I know that place exists, I go to the bread basket all the time. Really all round the best place for produce, excellent proces and always friendly people working here. Go here and support them!

This place used to have much better stoves than they have now. It's still a bit cheaper than the grocery store for some things, and others it's the same price or more. I will say that at least the stuff is t sitting there rotten like it used to be.
