FINALLY, a good (and reasonably priced) ramen place in Lincoln!! 😩🙏🏼 I usually depend on my intermittent trips to Omaha for flavorful, authentic ramen, but I was pleasantly surprised to come across this quaint hole in the wall on my way home from work. Unfortunately, I was too excited to eat and forgot to take a before picture, so my image doesn’t do the initial presentation much justice, but as you can tell, I do very much look forward to ordering their Spicy Tan Tan again. The Tokyo roll I ordered was also nice, though, after seeing their fresh fish selection, I’m inclined to try their nigiri and sashimi options next time. Edward and Andrew were very pleasant and I hope more people learn about this absolute gem!

Date Night Our first time at the new Japon Bistro in Williamsburg! We were a bit later. There were still several tables of diners and we were seated right away. My husband started with Chicken Gyoza and Karaage. Loved the cook on the dumplings. He mentioned how the Karaage is made with dark meat which was a first for him. He didn't mind but it was a little chewier and different than others he's had. I got the Crab Rangoons. Filling was good, could've been crispier but worth a try. He got the Pork Katsu Curry Bowl for his main. Liked every component but nothing really blew him away. I ordered the Veggie Tempura Bowl. So...my least favorite tempura veg (personally) is the sweet potato. Unfortunately for me outta 15 pieces of veg, 13 were sweet potato. I was expecting more of an assortment. Loved the 2 pieces of squash by the way. My kids ended up eating the majority as leftovers. Both meals were served with Miso Soup and Salad. Here's the big surprise for me... I don't do soup. I have Never found a Miso Soup I could even remotely tolerate. I liked this one! With all of the Fried items I ordered it was a Great palate cleanser! Lastly I had to try the Shrimp Tempura Roll. This was Excellent!!! Honestly maybe the best I've had in town. I really wish they had more Veggie Rolls on the menu with how well done this one was! Service from Andreas was very attentive. This place has a Fantastic Lunch Special with lots of different Bento Boxes priced at $12-$14 apiece!!! Includes a Ton of food. One of the Best Deals around. My boyfriend and I love coming here and have not had a bad dish yet! The atmosphere is quiet and laidback. The service is always kind and pretty quick. Highly recommend trying if you live in the Lincoln area and enjoy Japanese cuisine. Gluten free friendly too! ☺️ Please check them out and show our small businesses some love.

THE FOOD is THE BEST!!!! Best crab rangoons! Beat Gyoza Chicken!!! And best Yako Sabi! ❤️❤️❤️ Their soup has a special place in my head already… I’m coming back for just that soup on a snowy cold day 😍😍😍

Super chill little space with an impressive menu, lots of ramen options that I haven’t come across anywhere else in town. We had the spicy tantan and the spicy tonkatsu ramen and both were delicious. Also had an appetizer of black pepper tuna tataki that was fresh and flavorful. Very impressed by the service, the relaxing atmosphere and the high quality food and can’t wait to come back and try more of the ramen options and sushi

Best ramen in Lincoln and we've tried quite a few places. This ramen was so rich and delicious. Cute little restaurant. Huge menu with lots of various Japanese dishes and sushi. They have a kids menu which can sometimes be hard to find in Asian restaurants, so that was a bonus. Very prompt service! Will absolutely come again.

Great food and nice atmosphere! Lots of vegan and vegetarian options and you can customize/mix and match. The tofu and miso ramen was delicious and I am excited to visit again and try the sushi. The vibe felt perfect for a lunch/brunch, nice and chill and eclectic.

So tasty! So many unusual options to choose from! The server was so friendly and attentive without being smothering. The food was excellent, with one caveat: we both found the miso soup to be so mild as to be almost bland although the tofu and seaweed in it was fresh. I had the crispy cod bento box which came with so many tasty items! My friend had the gluten free ramen with pork and pronounced it excellent. They even carefully omitted the egg from the ramen because it is marinated in soy sauce and they were being aware of her gluten free needs. Clean, casual, and a lovely new addition to Lincoln.

Service : 10/10 Menu: 10/10 Food was so good, and full of flavor. The value was great, the amount of food you get for what you pay for is great. I had a hard time deciding what to get because everything sounded so good. We will definitely be back

Tucked on a corner with entrance facing the parking lot This place is newly opened- barely two months old. Small little restaurant that mirrors a simple Japanese restaurant. The menu for me is a little confusing. It basically is a combination restaurant. There was a variety of Japanese, Chinese and even Korean elements to it. There is a variety of seating available- at the bar, booths, round tables, rectangular tables for bigger groups and small tables for a party of two. We were the only people there on Sunday. I needed comfort food. We ordered spring rolls for appetisers. Hubby ordered tempura and i ordered tartan noodles. Spring rolls were nice and crispy- tasted like they were bought frozen and fried in the restaurant. The insides were a little mushy. They were laid on a bed of cabbage- the shreds on the side look a little black. They should probably have been more careful with picking of the lettuce shreds. Japanese tantan ramen is usually in spicy broth. Mine came more like a Chinese style dried noodles. I'm not complaining - felt like noodles my mom used to make. It helped with homesickness. I do want to point out one point though- the chicken in the noodles is probably from the chicken broth that was made. And its basically gotten all the flavour into the soup. The accompanying chicken soup with my tantan noodles were actually good. But would be better if the oil was removed before serving. The layer of oil on the soup was a little off-putting but the flavour of the underlying soup was good. Tempura itself ( the vegetables) were delicious. The shrimp was a little over done but overall tasty. Honestly, it would probably do them good to reduce the menu. Too much stuff too confusing. I would come back for stuff that reminds me of home though. I'm not trying to be critical. This place has potential. I have to add our server's service was really good. Attentive and polite! Small but charming, the ramen is great and the sushi is good too, but I keep going back to the ramen

The lunch menu is the way to go! I got two lunches from here and both amazing and relatively cheap $13 for each bento box. I ordered fried cod (fried nicely with a good bite) and chicken teriyaki. It comes with fried gyoza, miso soup, small house salad, egg rolls. Definitely fills you up ! Miso soup is lacking in flavor but they give you a few dipping sauces so I put a bit of soy sauce in the soup and it worked. The other day I ordered tonkontsu ramen with medium spicy and pork belly and it was also yummy. I will definitely be a regular!!

Second time around and was blown away once again!! We brought our whole family for a birthday and everyone loved it! The menu has something for everyone!

Just tried this place for the first time, stellar. I highly recommend thee sushi and noodles. The crab rangoons were amazing too.

I wanted to try something new and stumbled upon this place. The atmosphere isn't fancy, but the food was good, and the staff was friendly and attentive. We tried the seafood ramen, black pepper tuna tataki, yellowtail jalapeño, and superior sashimi. All of it was fresh, the portions were hearty, and the prices were reasonable. There are many other things on the menu that we would like to try, so we will be back.
