A Bit of Carolina is such a gem! This local store is full of amazing handmade items, from beautiful crafts to delicious local foods and unique finds. And let me tell you…..hands down, they have the best cotton candy around! If you love supporting local makers and discovering new and unique treats, this place is a must-visit.

I don't know why I hadn't left a 5 Star review sooner, I've been coming to this store for over a year now! This is my GO TO SPOT for all of my dedicated NC Souvenirs. For the out of town guests that come my way, I can truly rely on A Bit of Carolina to have the perfect NC items, gifts, knick knacks, gift bags and baskets etc. to make my guests/family/friends feel welcomed to our area. The customer service is impeccable! They truly care that their customers have the best, impressionable, and memorable NC items to takeaway. If I can't put my finger on what I'm needing or looking for, their suggestions are always 100% spot on. I love that their store highlights speciality items from the whole state: jellies, jams, BBQ sauce, chocolate, nuts, coffees, woodwork, metal work, glasswork. This is my absolute GO TO Spot! It's hard to just buy one thing when you go, so beware! Lol!

The ladies working there were so fun! We wanted to try on a simply southern dress and they allowed us to do it over our clothes. Their selection is fun and the store has great gifts. We left with a dress and a good time.

I couldn't have been more pleased, and impressed, with my experience shopping here. Robin went above and beyond to listen to my needs and find a solution that would exceed my expectations. I'm so thankful for their commitment to excellent customer service, and relieved at how painless it was to get more than I was hoping for. I wanted to get a gift for a new coworker who is from NC, but had recently relocated to Oklahoma. I could tell from the way they described "home", how much they loved and missed North Carolina. I reached out to A Bit of Carolina and asked for help finding a gift that would feel like hugs from home. Robin reached out with suggestions and after some pleasant back and forth, an awesome gift box FULL of snacks and products all locally made in NC was on my doorstep in a few days. My coworker was so touched by the assortment of gifts. It was perfect. Thank you, Robin, for having a service mindset in how you operate. I'm so glad I found your business. It was exactly what I needed.

Very small place but filled with lots of souvenirs. We loved every bit of it. They have all kinds of interesting things.

Amazing! Love browsing and looking at all the cute items. Very personable staff as well! They made sure the door was propped open since I had a stroller and even gave my son a little sticker.

I work downtown but I always love popping in this store 😍 There’s always something new to look at and I found this gem! Robin had a great idea of using it to be able to find my remote keys etc because I always misplace them 🤦🏻‍♀️ 10/10 recommend checking it out. Plus it’s locally made stuff, which is awesome!

Love this shop! They stock it with quality unique products that are crafted in NC! I forget the number she mentioned if consignors but she has many creative folk filling her shelves. If you want to find the right thoughtful gift for family and friends come take a gander of this shop!

The service from Miss Mary was absolutely amazing! She was very patient with us and gave us plenty of time to shop even though the store was very close to closing. The different selection of items in there were appeasing to our taste. There were a lot of varieties. The value of the prices were as expected, A lot of things were handmade and with quality taste. Thank you Mary for your kindness!!!

This is a super fun little shop downtown that has all kinds of wonderful items! I come here a few times a year to stock up on North Carolinian favorites and to get gifts for folks. The staff are all really helpful and friendly, and they will even make a gift basket for you!

Wonderful assortment of local, handmade, and unique items. Great place to find an NC or Fayetteville/ Fort Bragg souvenir. Staff is helpful and pleasant. Owner makes/ suggests lovely gift baskets if you give her a price range. On 4th Fridays they usually have some of their vendors outside. Great store downtown!

An eclectic little shop and definitely worth a trip to pick up souvenirs for friends. A pretty diverse assortment of jams, jellies, and all sorts of sauces. Very friendly staff.

We make it a priority to stop in to "A Bit of Carolina" every time we are downtown. I have purchased countless gifts at this fun store for friends and family members ranging from my Father to my young cousin. This store has something for everyone and the friendly staff and owner are always happy to help me find the perfect item and wrap them for me. My husband loves the Southern Fried Cotton brand items they carry and just said today he needed to go down there and get a new hat and long sleeve for fall! (And he doesn't ever shop or want material things... he just really loves the brand and store!) A Bit of Carolina is a gem to downtown!

I am so glad we stumbled upon this adorable little store. The Woman working there is extremely kind, professional, knowledgeable, sweet and helpful. I love a store you can walk around multiple times and still find something new. The sidewalk and table sales are amazing. I'd definitely come back!! Thank you

One of my favorite places to shop for awesome local finds to gift my friends and family with! I love the owner. Robin is down to earth and awesome! Her and her staff are all around friendly & helpful when you're looking for something specific!

Absolutely love this store and the customer service. Robin always greets with a smile and offers suggestions for the coolest new items that are local to our area. A must see stop for anyone coming to downtown.
