Nice quaint little restaurant tucked away in the heart of the hardware shops. Excellent tasty food and pleasant staff. I think the menu is different each day. Unfortunately it is only open weekdays.

Had the best breakfast here. Tremendous hospitality.

Fiyatlari olması gerekenden pahalı. Patronu eski hırdavat dükkanı sahibi. Sürekli garson değişiyor bence biraz huzursuz bir ortam sadece mekanda enstantene yapılmaya çalışılmış yemeklerini ve servisini beğenmedim

Un lieu qui est devenu touristique. Qualité prix correcte. Pas beaucoup de choix en plat, étant donné que le menu change tout les jours. Les gouts des plats est le meme que ceux de ma mère. A part que je n'aimait pas trop ceux qu'elle cuisinait.😊 je suis allé par curiosité. J'ai vu, j'ai mangé, le lieu sympas mais je n'y retournerai pas.

Aile isletmesi olduğu icin yogun zamanlarda hizmeti yavaş olabiliyor, yemekleri lezzetli fiyatları makul, güler yüzlü ilgili personeli var. Otoparkı mevcut degil, lavabo ve wc temiz sayılır ama ortak kullanılıyor.

Eski usul esnaf lokantalarından kalan nadir yerlerden. Yemeklerde alıştığımız üzere aşırı yağ, tuz, salça kullanılmıyor.. Her şey kararında. Tatlısı da tatlı hani.. Şerbete bulanmamış, aşırı tatlı değil. Yedikçe yiyesi geliyor insanın. Mekan sahiplerini ve çalışanlarını tebrik ediyorum. Umarım daha uzun yıllar var olurlar..

This restaurant is located kinda in an alleyway, off the beaten path near the Karaköy tram station. We first got to know about this place after watching an Anthony Bourdain episode. Do not expect anything fancy or much English spoken here but that's ok because when it comes to food there's one universal language: if it's good eat it. We don't speak much Turkish and our server barely spoke any English but somehow we managed to order two great dishes. The food here was absolutely delicious. We started off with the tomato soup served with a sprinkle of cheese on top. A bread basket as usual is placed on the table to accompany the food. The soup was warm and tasty. For our entrees we had the meatball wrapped in eggplant (islim kebabı) served with the most delicious pilav and the meatballs with potatoes and tomatoes (izmir köftesi). Both dishes were seasoned well and although they looked kinda on the smaller size at first, they were actually very filling. We also had dessert which was ok but not my favorite and I can't remember the name of it. All dishes are home cooked meals and probably some of the best food we ate while in Turkey. Our server was so helpful and patient with us, very nice in helping us choose or food. We wish we could have eaten here more than once but unfortunately they only open for lunch and our time in Istanbul was limited.
