used to eat here regularly in the summer. The tacos were excellent, the chicharrón was delicious, and the staff were always friendly. I even recommended this place to friends — but after tonight, I won’t be returning.
The restaurant placed this bright yellow towing sticker (photo attached) on my car window for parking in their lot. While they’re within their rights to monitor parking, this sticker was extremely sticky and difficult to remove, leaving scratches on the glass. A simple note or verbal warning would have been more appropriate.
When I went inside to ask about it, I was met with a rude response from a woman named Sandra (if that’s her real name). She first claimed the owner wasn’t there, then changed her story and said she was the owner. When I asked to leave my contact information for the actual owner, she refused, laughed in my face, and ignored my questions.
I’m also very pregnant, and it was almost 10PM — I just wanted to leave my information and go home. Instead, she insisted on seeing my car immediately, dismissed the scratches as “nothing,” and then walked over to a gray truck to gossip about me in front of others. Completely unprofessional and unnecessary.
The only person who showed any decency was the man taking out the trash, who was polite and apologetic.
I won’t be supporting a business that lies to customers, disrespects them, and damages their property without accountability. There are plenty of other restaurants nearby that actually respect their patrons.
