Google
I saw Logan Candies on another Candy making site recently and when I saw they were in Ontario, CA I had to go. It's as expected an old time candy store that does hard candies (canes, ribbon, and pillows) plus chocolates. I love turtles and they make 5 different varieties and I had to have dark chocolate cashew turtles. I recently saw how they make their rocky road so that was a must have. As you can see we bought a little of bit of all our favorites plus some special candy canes. They were getting busy as they do candy cane making demonstrations where you bend your own (tickets required) and families were arriving for the event. We will definitely return and if your in the area I would say it's a definitely worth visiting

Google
I just love this candy store. You can watch and participate making candy canes! Forming your own shapes candy cane to take home(Sign up in advance for 5 dollars pp) they make and sell and ship various shaped candy canes for all holidays! Super fun! You can call them to order shipped to various locations as a nice gift for family or friends. They make butter mints in lemon and cinnamon and mint flavors that make particularly nice table setting gifts for dinner parties or party favors. All delish! The cinnamon is really nice! They make the best candies. Try the various ribbon candies and peanut malt balls and Home made salt water taffy in various flavors! I love peanut butter flavor and molasses! In business for close to 100 years

Fought traffic to incorporate this into my journey through town. Candy stores are interesting to see and sample what they're famous for all these years. They have all types of candy. I bought some taffy. You grab a bag and fill it with an assortment of their different flavors like Cinnamon rolls, Glazed Donut, German Chocolate Cake to name a few. It's charged by the pound like some of their other candies. Unfortunately, they weren't making anything when I was there. But I did find an array of their Candy Canes in the room to the left of the entrance which are basically a full version of the bags of candy cane pillows. A bit pricey for both but I decided to try 6 candy cane flavors. I've liked all but Toasted Marshmallow which I thought I would like the most and Blue Raspberry was ok. Cherry, Cinnamon, Pina Colada, and Root Beer were great.

New customer from Texas! Placed a phone order last week and the lady who helped me on the phone was so sweet, and helpful. She answered all of my questions about various candies and the price wasn't bad either! I bought these for my husband's birthday and he was so excited to get a box from Logan's! We have been watching y'all on TikTok for a while and of course had a hard time deciding what to buy because it all looked so good. The honeycomb is our favorite. My husband can't have peanuts, so this is almost like a peanut brittle he can actually enjoy! I am definitely going to order some chocolate dipped honeycomb when it cools off and maybe some other chocolates as well. Y'all have earned another customer even from several states away. Keep it up!

Google
My one year old daughter and I went to see a candy demonstration today and loved it! Jerry, the owner, gave a detailed and entertaining presentation on how they make their candy canes and pillows, which was enjoyable for all ages! We got a ticket to make our own candy cane at the end, so they gave us a warm candy stick and showed us how to bend it into our desired shape. After the demonstration was over, we got a ton of delicious sweet treats for ourselves and family. We had such a lovely time and I hope we can come back soon!

Google
We love Logans the relationship in their family is so incredible. I love the history and the best candy around. Make sure you buy tickets with your kids for candy making demonstration it's so fun!!

Matthew D.

Google
Here right now for the first time, and the guy whose demonstrating making the candy cane is awesome. Very engaging and friendly. He made sure everyone in the store received a sample and had the kids in the front row which was considerate. Especially loved how he shared the story of the candy cane and Jesus Christ and how they are connected. I recommend coming!

Totally worth the drive in traffic to visit. The staff were super sweet. They made our visit great( Visiting from Lafayette,IN). I picked up some chocolates and candy pillows as a gift for my parents.

Yelp
For the longest time since I've watched their youtube/ tiktok shorts, I thought they were based somewhere in Ontario, Canada but they're a few miles away from Euclid ave near the 10 fwy. I thought it would be tiny inside but they do have a good amount of space for the various candies they sell. I usually come here to stock up on their salt water taffy with my favorite flavors of butter popcorn, cinnamon roll, frosted cupcake, and blue cotton candy; and they do smell and taste like what the flavors imply. I also like their chocolate chip dark chocolate which is plain ruffles potato chip mixed with dark or milk chocolate. They have a good variety of housemade chocolates along with sugar-free candy selections. Their various flavors of candy canes are great too, I have seen a demonstration of the man doing a batch for a crowd while I was getting candy. They do give out warm samples of pillow candies after demonstrations, they were making their seasonal pumpkin spiced pillow candy. They make some harder to find candies such as honeycomb or ribbon candies too. The staff is nice, parking is street only.

Yelp
My wife was excited to visit Logan's Candies since she follows them on social media. I tagged along because, well, marriage. Parking: Easy win here. There's a public lot right behind the store, so no drama finding a spot. Inside the store: Once inside, I wasn't quite sure what to make of the setup. The place has an okay mix of new and old-school candies, but the layout feels kind of like a sugar tornado hit a gift shop. Customer service: A younger employee greeted me when I walked in, friendly and polite. Later, I had a few questions about the jars of loose candy in the third room, which seems to be a collection of random odds and ends. She was busy, so I asked an older blonde woman instead. Unfortunately, she seemed less than thrilled to help, smiling through what looked like physical pain. I was just trying to figure out the rhyme or reason behind the layout, but I got the vibe I was asking for state secrets. Overall: I never even tried the chocolate, which is ironic considering from their replies to other reviews on yelp they suggest See's is their competitor. I guess Logan's Candies is doing well enough to let curious customers walk right out the door. Probably the most neutral review I've ever written.

Yelp
Since 1933, this place has been around--and when you walk in, it feels like you're stepping back in time just a little. The frozen banana had the perfect crunch, with the chocolate and nuts evenly coated for that satisfying bite. The caramel toffee apple? A total standout. Super fresh apple, crisp toffee shell, and that perfect tart-sweet balance. Downtown Ontario has a few hidden gems--this is definitely one of them.

Yelp
I've been watching Logan's Candies reels on Facebook for a while now (sooo satisfying!) so I was happy to come in person!! We got to watch a candy cane demonstration which was fascinating. Felt like a live episode of the old Food Network show "Unwrapped", lol. Plus we got fresh samples! We also got some chocolates. The putting on the ritz was AMAZING. Peanut butter crème inside of two Ritz crackers and covered in chocolate.

Yelp
We finally got a chance to come by this adorable and well known candy shop! It's so much bigger than I thought and they offer a huge selection, including a chocolate counter, fudge, their candy cane pillows, iconic candy and gifts/souvenirs. The service was truly the best. So many wonderful recommendations and truly friendly, kind, knowledgeable, and engaging. We can't wait to go back and try more. If you're in the area, stop by. And even if you aren't, it's worth the drive to visit. The chocolates were some of the best we've ever had- the in-house smores chocolate is amazing! But we loved everything. Go check them out. You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
We went here for a candy cane demonstration for the first time. It was such a cute experience seeing someone firsthand make the candy canes and explain the whole process. And the price to see this demonstration was so inexpensive for what you get. The store is older but has a lot of charm. The candy can be a little more pricey but I didn't mind because I knew it would be supporting a local candy shop. We ordered a watermelon and pink lemonade. I loved the watermelon. I wish the pink lemonade had a little more tart or citrus flavor. Im excited to try more flavors and seeing the candy cane demonstration will now be part of a yearly tradition for us.

Yelp
I finally got a chance to stop by this place to satisfy my sweet tooth! And just a few feet away from the store you can literally smell the sugar from outdoors. I was absolutely pleased with the selection and the customer service! I was graciously helped by two employees and after inquiring with another customer about how the honeycomb tasted, I was offered a sample WITHOUT asking. Their treats are delicious (I'm currently eating cotton candy pillows and English toffee while writing this review). I didn't realize Jerry was working and he gladly thanked me for coming in the store (I enjoy watching their TikToks). I love supporting small business but it is even better to know they are grateful for the business their customers bring. I'm honestly baffled by some of these negative reviews. What a charming staff and nostalgic candy store!
google avatar

Alex S.

Yelp
The store can get busy but the staff remains friendly and helpful and the candy is delicious! There is only street parking. While it may look like there is a line to enter, customers often gather by the front window to watch the candy-making process while the store (hard candy, ice cream, chocolates, taffy, and gifts) remains open. This shop gets a lot of well-deserved hype online for their candy-making videos. They even hand out samples of warm candy while they're making it! We loved the variety of milk and dark chocolates. They also have a good selection of sugar-free chocolates. You can get it by the piece or in a box and it is around $26 per pound. The half pound boxes fit plenty and were great gifts. Our favorite chocolates were those with their delicious house made caramel. Definitely worth a visit if in the area!

Yelp
The best "old school" candy and chocolate shop ever! We drive all the way from Arizona just to go there doing a day trip

Yelp
Last weekend, I bought three tickets for my daughter and a friend and we were pleasantly delighted on the authenticity of this mainstay candy store. They have been open since 1933 and the family that runs the place and does all their social media videos is just an absolute delight. I'm so happy they have found a way to promote their business as they are located in a downtown area that probably once flourished back in the day, but it looks a little abandoned, in parts. We watched the demonstration and bought several different types of candy and will definitely be back at some point. The only downfall they didn't have a public restroom, but I will not take a star away for that. They are a gem!! I also liked how they pay tribute to their daughter who passed away in 2004 at a very young age. It's a perfect place to keep a child's memory alive.
google avatar

Jessica P.

Yelp
This place has everything! I got some merch with the company name on it and also some dark chocolate macadamia nut candy. The chocolate tasted fresh. The owner was friendly and the working ladies were attentive and answered any questions. Will bring my kids back and hopefully make our own candy canes one of these days!
google avatar

TY B.

Yelp
I love this place! So many choices of in-house made favorites, ie., taffy, candy canes, ribbon candy, etc! It's such a small place, but everywhere you look you see fresh, delicious treats! The only disappointment is that I didn't know about Logan's sooner!
google avatar

Mia A.

Yelp
This cute little candy shop in downtown Ontario did not disappoint! The staff is amazing - friendly service - they made you feel at home. We registered for an 11am candy demo. Jerry was fantastic! He made blueberry/raspberry candy canes! It was so interesting to learn the history of the candy cane but the star of the show was when they let us taste fresh warm candy cane pillows! OMG - I've never had it warm before - and it was soooooo good! Like a party with every bite! I highly recommend $5 candy demo, you can register and reserve a spot online. It wasn't crowded at all - they sell other types of candies as well that are homemade. My husband enjoyed the sugar free selection. I bought the watermelon and blueberry pillows(fresh)! To take home. I'll be back! Thank you Logan's candies for an amazing experienc

Yelp
A Sweet Slice of Candy Heaven! To say Logan's Candies is an institution is an understatement--this place is a legend! Since 1933, they've been crafting some of the best handmade sweets you'll ever taste, and let me tell you, their peppermint candy is next-level amazing. I don't know what kind of candy magic they use, but it's lighter, fresher, and more flavorful than any peppermint I've ever had. Whenever I'm in this part of town, a stop at Logan's is a must. This time, I popped in to grab some treats for my uncle before I visit him in Florida in two weeks--yes, their peppermint is so good that I'm basically smuggling it across the country for him. The store itself is pure nostalgia, filled with the scent of fresh sugar and old-fashioned charm. The staff is always friendly, and if you're lucky, you might even catch them making candy right in front of you! If you've never been, GO. And if you have been, well... you already know.
google avatar

Irai R.

Yelp
The nostalgia is real when stopping by Logan's. I grew up on Logan's since I was 5 years old...I am now 38. The owners are a sweet couple who have remained the backbone of this business even when losing their daughter many years ago when I was a child myself. When I miss home and am in my feelings wishing I was a child again I like to stop by alone or with my own children and reminisce. I love grabbing some candies by the pound like the good old days. I like the scent as we walk in. Sweet bliss. Their selection is wide and they even have sugar free candies and chocolates for those who need it. They have merch and everything in between. While many come for the candy cane making showings this place is much more to some... it's home. There's plenty of street parking. It's in a safe area Prices are very good Everything is delicious Support small businesses!

Yelp
This place was the absolute best!! We drove all the way from Nevada to come and see what this place was all about. We watch their tik toks all the time, and we were so excited to see the candy making in action! We were absolutely entranced by all of the kinds of candies they made!! We would definetly recommend buying tickets to bend your own candy cane if you go in while they are making the candy! Abby and Jerry were so so sweet! They were so friendly and chatted with us after the candy demo was over, and overall made it such a great experience! My whole family was looking forward to this trip for a month, and it definitely did not disappoint! They gave us samples while they were making the candy canes and they were so so yummy!! I would recommend this candy store to anyone in the area, or anyone wanting to have a fun little day trip! We stayed for and hour and a half, there were so many things to check out and see! Prices are reasonable, and so so worth it! This store is so cute! We will definitely be back soon!

Yelp
I've been going here for over 30 years and love this place Great candy and nice friendly staff to help us with our selections
google avatar

Brooke F.

Yelp
I found out about this place on YouTube and me and my family were going on a vaca to cali and HAD to try this place. We took a detour to go here but let me tell you, it was well worth it. This is hands down the BEST candy I've ever had in my life. Everything is homemade (with the exception of the branded candy they sell). They have a variety of chocolate covered goodies, fudge, candy canes, candy cane pillows and taffy. The staff might be some of the sweetest people on earth. They are so joyful and caring. They really appreciate and love their job and the evidence is in the quality of the products. The setting is very peaceful and looks and feels like an old fashioned candy shop. Every customer that was there was so sweet and really loved the employees (including us!) And guys please follow their social media pages some of their videos are amazing

Yelp
Reliving my childhood Christmas a little early this year . Tours at this cute little candy shop in downtown Ontario. Over 90 years they have been making them this way and we wouldn't change a thing . 5:30 is when tours start and you can purchase a ticket to " bend" a cane at the register prior to the demo. Multiple screens around the room make it easy for everyone to get in on the candy cane magic. Free puns with every tour . Glad to see this staple of the holidays is still up and running .

Michelle M.

Yelp
Cute candy shop and fun to see their candy cane process but kinda grossed out because they were rolling and handling the candy canes with no gloves. Then another person was touching them to bag them:( Looked their daughter had rings on and no gloves touching all of them.
google avatar

Ken M.

Yelp
We made are first order of honeycomb in December and it arrived picture perfect and in great shape. The taste was out of memory and time, from years past and just as wonderful. Thank you KRM

rachel h.

Yelp
Loved it!! I Took my daughter out to a late lunch and afterwards decided to google the nearest candy store. I am SO glad I did! We absolutely LOVED this shop. We took our time and checked everything out, my daughter got a bunch of their pre packaged novelty candy, but this review is for their chocolate! I got an assortment from the candy bar and literally everything was amazing. The honey comb is to die for, and I'm weirdly picky about honeycomb. The staff was very friendly and welcoming but not overwhelmingly so which is always cool. The only thing I would say is a bummer is the location seems a little isolated and if I hadn't been specifically looking for a candy store we would have missed out onto this gem!

Liz F.

Yelp
Place was cute but the prices are awful. I was absolutely lost for words when I saw how expensive everything was! There's zero excuse that this LITTLE bag of candy is literally $13!!! I see why it was absolutely empty in there on Friday. Won't be back there's much cheaper candy available other places! In response to your comment, there's still no excuse to charge that much money for a simple candy. Regardless of how it's made. And it tastes pretty awful might I add. 13 dollars for stale candy that tastes like cheap candles. It's a complete rip off and you know that. Overcharging people in this economy isn't cute it's just disturbing. And thinking your product is actually worth this much is laughable. Sees candy could never! They make quality chocolate that actually tastes amazing. You should take a page from their book I won't be back to this tourist ticktock trap.
google avatar

Adriana L.

Yelp
The staff are very friendly and helpful. They ask questions about what we have a taste for, they gave suggestions. I am a chocolate lover so I got the chocolate peanut butter cups. My nieces loved the sour candy. We loved them so much that we bought T-shirts ! Cute shop, it gives you the feeling of nostalgia.
google avatar

Angie Q.

Yelp
This is an IE institution. Everyone should visit at least once. The best time to go is around Easter or Christmas.

Ximena L.

Yelp
I love this place. Friendliest staff always welcomes you with a smile and wonderful tasty candy and sweets.
google avatar

Grace B.

Yelp
I tried the taffies, candy cane, and chocolates. I loved the candy cane texture and taste, but it could've used a pinch more peppermint taste. The taffies were delicious, but the main star of the show were the chocolates. I'm not sure how it's possible since they are a small store with less resources, but they have better quality and tasting chocolate than See's candies. I order a bunch of See's candies every year, but after sampling a box from Logan's, they will be who I order from going forward. Their prices were on par, if not beating See's candies. Would highly recommend Logan's!
google avatar

Lynette M.

Yelp
The best homemade candy and sugarfree candy store in Ontario, California! Shaved ice is also a great treat! Christmas time they put on a show to watch how candy canes are made and customers get a chance to make their own candy canes?
google avatar

Stephanie M.

Yelp
Scratch made candies by a family with so much love in their souls to share these delicious treats
google avatar

Rick G.

Yelp
Cool little place, but no public restrooms for customers is a deal killer after the 45 mile trip to Ontario! We won't be back! Very disappointing!
google avatar

Nate S.

Yelp
Great taffy and candy cane candy, lots of live candy demonstrations too. A great assortment of treats along with a gift shop for merch. Nice candy store vibes too.
google avatar

Ethan G.

Yelp
Not as good this year. tastes like the changed the manufacturer of there peppermint extract. I hope not and my taste buds are just off. it's bee a family tradition for year. if you did go with another vendor please go back to the original.

Greg M.

Yelp
Came in on a Saturday evening, just before closing. They were making the candy in front of us, and it was marvelous watching him twist and place it on the hook, as well as using the chopping board to slice some other candy simultaneously. Everyone was very inviting and friendly Tasty hard candy, and sometimes they give out free samples! I'd come back again when I'm in the area
google avatar

Yelp
With over 6 million followers on Tik Toc alone, Logan's is not only popular for its candy making videos, it's popular because the candy is so good. Located in Old Town Ontario, California, Logan's has been a staple in the community since 1933. The store itself was s old school. The sign is neon, and looks like it hasn't been touched since 1933. The store has makes a large variety of ribbon candies, pillow candy, fudge, chews, and so much more. On Easter they sell the greatest chocolate bunnies, and chickens. Easter eggs are available and they will personalize them with a name. And... do not forget the candy canes during the holidays. This is what put Logan's on the candy map way back in 1933. The quality here is excellent. The service is friendly, and the prices are excellent. Logan's is a great place for tours so you can see the candy being made right before your eyes. Kids, young and old love it.

Sharon D.

Yelp
What a wonderful and delicious candy store!! They have a lot more than candy!! Lots of novelty stuff that you won't find anywhere else!! The price there are all wonderful!!! I've been going there for many years!!! All the help are so kind and helpful!! Love this place!!! Sharon DuCommun
google avatar

Jocelyn B.

Yelp
Cute spot! A great variety of treats and fresh goodies! I was extremely impressed with the hospitality and the huge selection of sugar free candy/ chocolates as well.
google avatar

Jessica M.

Yelp
Logan's is a must-visit. My partner and I signed up for a tour to learn how their famous candy is made and then we bent our own candy canes. We also bought chocolates and not only are they creative flavors, it was all tasty from dark to milk chocolate. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. It looks as though they've expanded their walls so they have a little gift shop/ice cream area and a whole fudge and pre-packaged candy section. There's a whole lot to choose from and definitely worth making the trip to downtown Ontario.
google avatar

Liz L.

Yelp
Wow. One of the few places that makes homemade candy the old fashioned way. They also stock many of the favorites from the "old days". Worth a trip. Look at the website and schedule a visit when they are actually making their hard candy. I think it would be fun to create a gift gift basket of old fashioned candy for someone.
google avatar

Tabitha R.

Yelp
Love Logan's we have been several times over the last 10 years with both my nieces. We have been to 2 demos and they never disappoint. We go every Xmas to pick up candy canes as well!!! Great family business!!!!

Shawn E.

Yelp
Cute place. Expensive but it's a mom and pop so support your local candy guy! Cinnamon pillows need WAY more cinnamon flavor. Tastes like sugar with a hint of cinnamon.
google avatar

Theresa M.

Yelp
The shop offers a home town feel with traditional hand made candy that not only tastes good but the smells bring back childhood memories, the staff is just as sweet. My kids love visiting at least once a month. Their flavors are sooooooo good.
google avatar

Michele H.

Yelp
I love this place, the ambiance and smell in the store is enough for me. They are helpful and have a great selection of candy. There is old candy when I was little that you don't see anymore. They also accommodate individuals who need sugar free candy. Great place.
google avatar

Ken G.

Yelp
Absolutely stellar service tons of old school candies and absolutely delicious my wife and I picked up some ribbons, pillows, honeycomb, some saltwater taffy (apricot is amazing I recommend that flavor)and some chocolate ( cant remember what there called but they have crumble bits of a few things in them) get them if you can they are amazing sorry the chocolate was to good and didn't make it home so no pic of that
google avatar

Lori T.

Yelp
everything here is very expensive but you know most of it is handmade so i'm not complaining, i'm informing. we got a dozen small canes, 6 pieces of ribbon candy, 3/4 lb. of fudge, 1/2lb. pillow candy, a couple small ornaments and a commercial candy cup and the total was close to $100! anyway it was packed and their customer service is so convoluted! i advise much patience! you wait in a line for someone to offer assistance and then you meander your way about to order what you want and sometimes this person disappears and you're left standing and waiting and not knowing what to do; hence patience. it's fun to watch the candy being made and formed! i'm glad this shop exists! takes you back in time.

Art F.

Yelp
Great candy, excellent variety, and top-notch customer service. I have been going there for years--chocolate-covered strawberries are the best.
google avatar

Kami T.

Yelp
There aren't too many places that make handmade candy canes. Kudos to whoever does their social media since that is how I found this place. I recommend that you get there early...both in the holiday season and in the time of day. This is so you get the best options of flavors and items. I made the rookie mistake of going on Christmas Eve and there weren't a lot of options of the ribbon candy. There is street parking plus a few small public parking lots. The shop is on the smaller side, so look for the start of the line sign to get assisted. If you don't, you might get scolded and told you won't be helped. The person who assisted me was nice, but the other employee who yelled out about the line seemed irritated. I'm not sure I will go back here before next holiday season.

Yelp
Friendly and warm customer service. My Aussie cousin requested a trip to Logan's since it was on her American bucket list. We arrived around 10a on a Sat so parking was great. We walked into a candy making demo and was pleasantly surprised. Everyone was sincerely helpful. They have a great variety of candy which included sugar free and dark chocolates, taffy, hard and soft, and even Mexican candy. My cousin was thrilled to visit and spent about $35 for chocolates, taffy, and ribbon candy.
google avatar

Scott M.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my visit here. I chose many many individual items and it was surprisingly, affordable. Lots of handmade things. Lots of classics-my wife got Razzles-a.m. midweek was a great time. We were on vacation and this was a great "pop" of fun.

Yelp
I found Logan's Candies several years ago while working in Ontario. I have been a loyal customer ever since and despite relocating to another job at LAX. I now visit regularly when I golf in the Inland Empire area. Heck, I purposely book tee times in the area so I can stop by for some candy and chocolate covered strawberries. Due to heart health issues, I no longer can eat chocolate or anything with caffeine. So white chocolate is the one indulgence I can safely enjoy (no caffeine in cocoa butter). Now when I need my white chocolate fix, I call Logan's and Jerry or Brenda take my order and create a delicious assortment of white chocolate delights for me. I also make sure to bring home for my wife some chocolate covered strawberries. Oh, I also order white chocolate covered strawberries for myself. Recently on several golf outing to the Riverside area, I stop by Logan's and pick up whatever white chocolate they have on hand along with other confections that are always delicious. Brenda and Jodie are always so pleasant and helpful. They make my buying experience a sweet deal.
