While the food was super good here with really well done food and fast service, we didn’t have the best experience with our waiter. We asked a few questions regarding vegetarian options and were given passive aggressive answers like “duh it’s veggie” and upon inquiring about what he prefers we were also given a standoffish response. Both my partner and I ended up modifying our order less than 5 min of placing the order, the waiter turns to be and rudely proclaims “you’re killing the kitchen! You guys are killing us”. For the rest of the night we chose not to interact with him much but I have never experienced that before at a restaurant. Usually the staff is very forthcoming with asking about menu items and changes.

We tried the YoYo Peach-Mango and the Guava Blueberry, and both were fantastic. The flavours were fresh, balanced, and not overly sweet. The atmosphere at Bandit Brewery is always welcoming, and the patio is the perfect place to enjoy these fruit-forward brews. Highly recommend dropping by!

One of my favourite patios on Dundas West, what with all the trees, Bandit has a great menu as well as excelent beers. Good for big groups, and make sure to swing by the fridges of the bottle shop to take something home! Staff were really nice and funny too!

By far and wide the best wings I've ever had. They were large, with a delicate crispness to them, not greasy and the meat market in your mouth. I need their recipe!!! The wings came with an amazing house made buffalo sauce, i actually used the sauce for the fries and they complimented eachother really well. Had the Ethiopian nitro stout it tasted very much like a Guinness to me, good out bad take that good you will. It's a worldwide recognized product that it tastes like, but not unique because it tastes like something else. I enjoyed it though. My date had the raspberry sour and it was thick and very tasty. I preferred that to my drink and i don't usually drink a fruity drink. It's a very open concept full indoor patio concept that opens the top in the nicer weather. Very friendly. I used to love around the corner years ago. If this place was around when i lived there I'd be there every day.

Had a great afternoon at Bandit Brewery! Their beers are phenomenal, the head brewer Andrew, is friendly and knowledgeable. The cheese curds paired perfectly with the beer and elevated the whole tasting experience. Highly recommend!

Came here yesterday on a scorching hot Saturday for a late lunch/early dinner. Pros: - dog-friendly patio as evidenced by my video - they provide water bowls for your pups if you don’t have one - service is pretty fast after you order your food and you don’t feel ignored being on the dog-friendly portion of the patio - the food was really tasty, especially the burrata and beet salad. I’m not typically a salad person but that salad was great, especially the pecans - staff were all friendly - prices are reasonable Cons: - it was a bit slow to get seated. It seemed like no one was there initially and definitely creates some confusion with customers waiting in line. Some were walking up straight to the patio door, and some followed the sign at the front that said wait to be seated. I’d recommend a more obvious sign that wasn’t just a paper on the table as some people won’t see it. I saw some staff members politely ask customers to go back to the front to get seated as they were blocking the patio entrance. - no non-alcoholic beer options. Most breweries now have their own line of non-alcs so it was a bit surprising that this place didn’t have one. They do have non-alcoholic options, but mostly ciders or sparking beverages. All in all, would definitely come again.

Found my new favourite brewery in Toronto and in general. The ambiance is chill, family friendly, more of a diverse crowd in the evening. I loved the smoothie sours which is new to me. All the craft drink options were also delicious. The food menu is on the extensive side for a brewery. Every item we had aside from the beer battered cheese curds were a hit. The cheese curds were a little heavy and salty and the sauce did not compliment the taste. I highly recommend the tuna tataki, parm fries & korean cauliflower. I highly recommend the smoothie sour (mango/pineapple and guava/raspberry).

Since Boxing Day 2024 until now I’ve gone 3 times so this is a 3 time visit review. I have to say this might just be my favourite spot in the city, it holds the crown jewel in my eyes. Let’s start with the food, everything slaps so hard, the menu changes seasonally and whatever they add is always so tasty, I’ve had their carbonara, their risotto (prob the best I’ve had), their smash burger, deep fried cheese curds (a must if you’re into cheese) and most recently their peach cobbler, everything tastes divine. Now for their drinks, in the colder months I had their Ferraro rocher and darker stout beers which won my heart over, I was a bit sad they aren’t on the summer menu but I was won over by a delicious drink called Mr Pink, they just do things right here. Lastly the atmosphere is a whole vibe, it’s cozy, great for a date or larger group outing. A true gem, we’re lucky to have you!

I really enjoy their beer list and they have really good beer options. Their DIPA options are really good and while I don't like the size of their pour at 12oz at least they taste good I think a brewery should pour a pint. And if you want to charge me $10.50 instead of $8.50 then fine. The cost of their food is ridiculous. A house salad is $17. A 4oz burger is a quarter of a pound for $22. Aside from cheese it has nothing unique on it. As I looked around I saw very few people eating, and while I was hungry, I wasn't interested in expensive and small food. If they would add a few reasonable food options this would be a 5 star place. It's not hard to do... when you order food you're eating on concrete at a picnic table.

As an update I think one of the single most delicious bar snacks available to humans is the fried cheese curds at Bandit. We used to order them as a side and now we just have them for dinner. Why mess around when what you want is fried cheese, everything else is extraneous. As per previous reviews - amazing beer.

Clearly needed to update my review since I've been coming here for 7 years and have definitely found many beers to love! This has become a favourite place of mine. The beer is consistently delicious and if you like hazy IPAs, you're going to love these. This update is mostly a shout-out for the beer battered cheese curds. It's kind of a pro-tip we've developed, to skip mains altogether and just share a basket of these delicious chunks. It's a super generous portion ($16) even for 2 people but what a decadent treat! Love what they've achieved with their little winter garden here, always a delight to visit.

Their drinks are so lit. I hate beer but this place was such a freaking game changer. That smoothie beer is such a hit

Rediscovering Bandit Brewery after years proved to be a delightful experience. The recent renovation, transforming the once-patio into an intimate interior dining space, was a pleasant surprise. The interior, adorned with lights along the trees, created a charming ambiance. The service was noteworthy--quick, friendly, and efficient. For starters, we enjoyed the bread and olives, a decent appetizer featuring generously sized olives. The mains stole the show. My friend's smash burger was a juicy flavour delight, while my choice of the Korean Short Ribs was nothing short of outstanding. The tenderness of the beef combined with their house sauce and kimchi resulted in a mouthwatering and delicious dish. Overall, Bandit Brewery offers a fantastic dining experience, and I wholeheartedly recommend it!

A beautiful space in the Junction neighbourhood, Bandit Brewery evokes the outdoor delight of a Bavarian beer garden. The huge covered patio and rustic inside bar with exposure to the outside makes for a very pleasant place to sit and people watch on a sunny afternoon. The patio also appears to be winterized so it could be a good spot year-round. The menu selections are few but inspired. We didn't eat there as we had just had lunch elsewhere but the food passing us by looked appetizing. The beer selection is all home brew, as you would expect. The "juicebox" was my favourite - citrus forward and refreshing but a bit too hoppy for my taste. In fact, most selections were hopped up on hop but that's sadly de rigueur these days (One day, malt will reign again). Take a stroll south from Dundas West station. Park yourself at Bandit, and take it all in.

After walking by and saw how modern and cute this place looked, we wanted to try to see if the food was good. We ordered the shareable truffle risotto and salad. We were pleasantly surprised with how delicious the risotto was, so don't miss out on that! We also ordered the strawberry and banana beer which tasted like a smoothie with alcohol - delicious! We ordered the tiramisu and it was a large portion which filled all of us up! The service was excellent and I recommend this place to add to your to try list!

Bandit has a gorgeous glass enclosed patio! The patio has trees and stained picnic tables giving a chic picnic feel. We stopped by for a cool drink on a Sunday afternoon, and it wasn't busy, so we were promptly seated. The staff and manager are very kind! Thank you, I'll be back!

Went on a rainy Friday night, hoping to try their beer. However, we were told that it'd be a 30-40 minute wait & that there were no spots at the bar to even get a drink. Since there was nowhere to wait, we got some beer at the to-go counter & split. The beer was good, but the establishment seemed pretentious.

Embarrassingly, we only dropped by because the bandit logo was so cute but I'm glad we did! They had a solid amount of home beers that ranged from IPA to lager and you could do sizes from tasters to a full glass. They also had wine for non beer lovers. We wish we were hungrier but we're able to enjoy the Tso cauliflower. It was lightly breaded and deep fried covered in sauce. So so tasty I day dream about it. Definitely drop in if you want a good time!

The best chicken sandwich I've ever had - been back three times now for it. The atmosphere is great and the aesthetics add to the experience - love the outdoor patio with the trees, even when enclosed for the winter. The beer battered cheese curds were delicious for an appetizer - but they are very filling (we split them between two people and they were still very filling). Will definitely be back!

AGTF: Always Get The Fries. Bandit is a go-to for my friends and me. In a convenient location close to the Dundas West TTC, it has always been a hit in the summer (and can confirm that it transforms into the coziest place during winter snowstorms). They have a solid selection of beer and a bottle shop to grab a few more after your evening out. I highly recommend their delicious fries to go along with a pint of their Juicebox IPA.

I used to pass this on my way to other restaurants and never went in, but a friend of mine decided to go because she's been before, so off we went! We were seated outside on one of the available benches. It was sunny at first and there weren't any umbrellas or anything for shade. I'm not into beer, so my friends ordered a flight and liked what they ordered. Again, we got all our dishes to share, and ate everything. I liked the presentation of the dishes as well, down to the little flower details. I didn't expect it, and it was a really cute surprise. You can also buy Bandit Brewery racoon merch. My friend bought a few glasses and I thought they were really cute!

Sadly this used to be one of my highly recommended, favourite breweries but I've been a couple times this year and it feels the place is going downhill. The last few times the beer quality has gone down. In terms of the food, we went recently and they literally "ran out" of 2 items on their menu. Pretty bad for 5pm to be out of things. They also used to have amazing fresh cut fries but it seems like recently we've been getting the frozen bagged fries? Their menu is typically amazing so this was disappointing. We go out of our way for their beautiful patio and quality food and drinks but likely won't as much anymore.

Great atmosphere and patio. I love their Goses. Food is good - more pub fare. The brews and the vibe are the real draw. Great neighborhood gem.

What a gorgeous ambiance here! Food was good, lots of beer options and some wine. Love love love the lighting and seating layout.

My wife and I stumbled upon this brewery while we were headed back to our hotel after dinner. While their beers and the atmosphere are equally awesome, it is truly what makes this place special. As we approached the building we noticed the sign that said "please wait to be seated", even though the bar was our destination, we waited. Once greeted we informed the staff member we wanted to sit at the bar, while we were told to go ahead a take a seat, we were still walked to the bar and welcomed to Bandit. The staff member noticed the bartender was busy making drink orders, so he poured us both a little sample of the milkshake IPA to enjoy while we looked through the beer list and waited on the bartender. Once Morgan was done pouring beers he came over to take care of us. I mentioned the people make this place special and Morgan is one of those people. We stayed for a couple of drinks and we can not thank Morgan enough for taking such good care of us. While they do serve some lite bites here, we did not have any. It did however smell and look very good! We would recommend friends to visit and we would for sure return.

With Patios opening now in Toronto, I had an opportunity to check out the food at Bandit Breweries. I have order many of their Beers during Covid but never had a chance to try out their food. I have to say they serve really good Burger!!! It's a must! The patio area is first come first serve and is extremely nice It's well spaced for social distancing from other patrons. If you want to go I would recommend ordering their flight to try out the different type of IPAs they offer, or if you enjoy dark beers they have some good big bottle options as well. The kitchen is always very accommodating if you have different dietary requests, so feel free to ask the servers and they will do their best to accomdate.

A great local brewery with a really nice patio. Came here during COVID, there was a wait of about an hour, but you can give your phone number and they will call you when your spot is available. Got 3 beers and it was 28.76 with tax and tip. Most people here were just for drinks but they have food as well. Other also have a store for take home beer

When did @bandit_brewery turn gourmet? Its the cutest patio, equipped with heaters for every picnic table. The ambiance is so perfect and you can definitely social distance here, while enjoying tasty food and one of their in-house brewed beers. . In three words: Flavorful. Open. Pricy I'm used to brewery fried food and small dishes. They had a nice variety and some higher end meals. The charcuterie board looked amazing, had we not eaten beforehand that would have been an item ok our list!

I fell in love with Bandit Brewery's Patio and their cute branding! Come for the beers and skip their food, Royale ($10) the burger I ordered was so so and the fries was cold. Nice friendly service. Beer Flights ($10) is way to try out what they offers on taps and I like what they offers!

Popular brewpub in an old auto shop. The patio is a great time and the inside is charming especially at night. There's a big garage door that opens the inside out to the patio creating a real open feel. Great brews! Tried a couple of glasses of their very juicy IPAs and loved them. Had the Rainforest and the Juicebox. The Bermuda DDH IPA takes it up a notch with extra hops for a real bitter punch. The Wizard of Gose is a wild ride of sour, fruity and a little salty. Lots to munch on the with the beer. The cauliflower packs a tangy and spicy kick. Portions are on the smaller side so maybe get an extra if ordering apps. The bottle shop is right next door to pick up cans/bottles. Also, delivery is reliable and cheap with no minimums.

Yummmmm to everything... they have a giant outdoor patio perfect for large/small groups with lots of spacing in between tables. Our server was incredibly nice and helpful. I got the Mr. Pink beer and it was great for a warm summer day. All the food was fantastic. Top favorite was the labneh and bannock and the crispy ribs!

Drinks on sunny sunday afternoon have to be here! Go here only for their beer, patio and desserts! Excellent service with the best Rum cake !

So... I kinda hate IPAs and IPAs are what Bandit do best. So how on earth am I giving this place 5-stars you ask? Well friend let me tell you that their Rainforest IPA is so amazing even if you hate IPAs I can't imagine you not liking this. I highly recommend it even if you're not a fan, you must I insist or at least add it to your flight. In fact getting a flight is probably the best way to experience the many flavours they offer (and yes there are a handful of offers that are not IPA). The staff have always been above and beyond and super accommodating and knowledgeable about the menus. The venue feels very safe as it has a lot of access to fresh air. If you are in the neigbourhood do not pass this up.

Cute spot kinda out of the city. They had a really nice variety of beers & a decent amount of sours (my fave). Their logo was what dragged me in- we wished we hadn't eaten before we stopped here because all the food that we saw looked delicious. Their outdoor space looks adorable- we were there in winter so inside it was, but a nice event space if someone could or wanted to rent it out!

The space is awesome. The beer is excellent. The service tonight was awful. You close at midnight. Says so right on the door, yet we were pressured by the staff from the moment we walked in, to get out. And we weren't the only party to get ejected mid-beer and before closing. It was so unpleasant. I get that you want to go home, but this was bad. Sadly I won't be back.

Absolutely no complaints here! I stopped here for dinner while in Toronto for work; I always try to fit a brewery or two in! Servers were really nice. Great atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. I had the watermelon hibiscus pale ale and I REALLY wish I could buy this in the states. Very good flavor and refreshing. For food I had the fried ribs and the KFC (fried cauliflower). Both were spectacular. The ribs had two yummy sauces drizzled on them and had a great crispy outside. The meat was so tender. The cauliflower was super flavorful with the sauce and I felt a bit better knowing I snuck a veggie in ;) Only downside was parking. A bit tricky to find a spot but I eventually did!

I do love me some beer, so it's about time I start visiting some breweries, no? My first stop was Bandit Brewery. I'd been here for an event before, but wanted to go back for some new brews and tasty food. Bandit has an amazing patio that I cannot wait to visit again this summer. Until then, the cozy indoors is all we needed. Low lighting with a variety of seating, made this the perfect venue for a group of friends to kick back. Since my first visit they had produced some new beers...one being Stouty McStoutface. I heard about it on Instagram and had to try it, not because it was a stout, but because I had to order it with a straight face. :D Best....name...ever! It was a great stout with rich coffee flavour and a dry finish. Nice! At my first visit, I got to sample a few foods, but one I kept thinking about was their fries. The fries were addicting! Fresh cut topped with parm and herbs; so simple, so tasty. The serving size looked small until I realized I couldn't finish it. Deceiving, but the perfect portion...at least my friends thought so, since there was enough for me to eat and them to steal! My friends ordered the House Salad and the Zucchini and Eggplant Ravioli. So good! I was impressed at the variety of the menu. Even though the menu is small, they make it good! Service was great as well. Our server was also a beer lover and helped us choose our beer and gave us a sample to help decide. Can't wait to come back in the summer!

I've been to Bandit a few times for the beer and beautiful atmosphere, but I've never really come in for a meal. My spawn is now old enough for extra curricular activities, so I find myself nearby on Sundays post ballet (we're cool, I know). Boy am I glad they brought back their brunch. This brunch is insane. I had the Bandit Breakfast which comes with two types of bacon, my husband had their house Benny and the little one enjoyed the yuuuge French toast. If we're being real, mostly I had the French toast as a wee breakfast dessert. Why not? I understand that here, beer is the star of the show, but this weekend morning understudy, she's marvelous. She's gonna make it!

We ordered the the Just Steak My Sandwich with fries and the Winter Salad for pickup. Our order was ready on time and I also brought home a 4 pack of beer. The sandwich was very flavourful. The steak was a perfect medium rare and the aioli verde packed a nick kick. I also loved the beer battered cheese curds as a topping. I would definitely order this again. I had one of Bandit's Juicebox New England IPAs with my sandwich. It was light and refreshing and went well with the spice from the sandwich. On the other hand, the Winter Salad was too sweet and lacked contrasting flavours and textures. The lettuce could also have been fresher. I would pass on this dish next time. Even though the salad was underwhelming, the sandwich more than made up for it. Solid 4.

Overall it was a nice stop! I walked here with expectations that weren't meet, but that's the issue with expectations. I walked into a line and a long wait. But they were polite and fit me into a long table as "just one"! That works. The host/manager was working his tail off, which I appreciate. Service was very nice and well trained. On the food side, I decided to go full Toronto and have a peameal sandwich (cross between a bacon and ham sandwich, local thing)! I enjoyed it. I tried ALL their beers in a couple flights. They do well. You can see my beer rating on Untappd (Toryvalben).

BOTTOM LINE: It's all about the patio (though maybe consider replacing the loose stones?) Bandit Brewery has a great space both in- and out-doors, with their obvious huge patio being THE selling point to come here, especially during the warmer months. That said, I do think it's a bit questionable having loose stones on the ground instead of something, anything, that is flatter and steadier for those who may have imbibed some. Their menu is solid, typical gastropub affair, but definitely very solid. I tried their PEAMEAL SANDWICH, which was served with generous portions of peameal bacon and crispy fries. It definitely hit the spot. Finally, and this may be a contentious points for some, but I felt that their beer offerings were "just okay". That is not to say they were poor by any means, but with so many excellent breweries in town, to me, I would place them in the middle of the pack.

I loved this place! Big, beautiful interior and nice patio. Great food - we tried the panzanella salad and the fries which came with a nice mayo (and we asked for ketchup too). Removed 1 star only because I didn't LOVE all the beers - my fave was the peach gose but a couple of the others I found a bit TOO sour (even though I generally like sours). The bread in the panzanella salad was also just a little too crispy. Very minor complaints though - Bandit is terrific and I highly recommend it!

Super friendly server. Heat was way too high. Sweaty in May. I'm not a beer conesseuir, didn't find one I overly liked. Tried a flight. SUPER LOUD. Hot and loud.

Gord and I went to Bandit Brewery to watch the England - Iceland UEFA EURO 2016 soccer game this afternoon. We went there a couple weeks ago for the first time and liked it. They brew their beer onsite. You can buy their beer to take home. Ben, one of the brewers, was stocking the fridge. I had a couple of their Patio Hopper Lagers. Yum! They had the game on a big screen. Most, if not all, there were England fans so weren't happy when Iceland beat them. Alex was our server. She was friendly (as were the other staff) and took good care of us.

Please refrain from coming here - service and food where horrible . The patio was the high light. Washrooms were filthy . For the price I woulfd suggest anywhere else but here. The beer is good that is it !!!!

The first thing I noticed here was that the patio was pretty dope. We went on a nice day so, of course, it was full and we had to sit inside. But, I definitely recommend taking advantage on a nice day. It's facing a major street, but other than that it's a pretty chill place to relax. This definitely was unlike any brewery I've ever been to in that it's full table service. Most breweries are set up that you order at the bar so I was shocked, but happy, that someone came over to take our order. We ordered flights to try everything and I can't say that I was disappointed by any of their beers. My favorite was the Farmed and Dangerous, which is a Saison and I appreciated the brewer staying true to the style and making sure it's refreshing and herbaceous (almost a bit grassy). I also really liked the Brett or Alive, which was a Saison on Brett. However, it was balanced so it wasn't overly tart. The service was a bit slow, but I felt like, for the most part, the service I received all over TO was pretty slow so I guess it was in line with what I was accustomed to. I didn't order any food but I saw people order the burger and it looked kinda basic. But, it could be fabulous. Ya never know!

I went to this place to enjoy their well-known beer on the patio, and of course I did but I was also surprised by the food!!! I had the old gouda sandwich and I was not expecting the food here to be that good. The location is not the best (patio facing Dundas street) but the beer and food make up for it. I liked their beers (and their branding) so much that I actually bought some APAs to enjoy them at home. If you enjoy craft beer and wanna support nice local breweries, check this place out :)

I've enjoyed their beer and food in the past, but I don't plan to do any more business with them. After two patio umbrellas came flying past me and crashing down on my table, spilling beer all over my pants and helmet, all we got was a $4 half-pint taken off the bill, a towel to clean myself up with, and a half-hearted apology. I know COVID has been hard on businesses, but it didn't seem like they took this event as seriously as I did.

Terrible experience. Would not recommend to anyone. Drove over 1/2 hour to get there and servers were so incredibly rude, ended up leaving.

Enjoyed our time here, we split two 8 oz beers and they were both very good. Loved the hooks they had at the high top tables, bonus points for thinking of that design choice. Service was friendly and efficient, despite being busy. Bathrooms were great (that always get a point from me!). Small selection of beers, but they also have Revel Cider which is the best, so other choices if you need.

I think this would be a great place to come by and have some beer and snacks as they have a selection of craft beers. I don't drink beer so I came here mainly for the food. I tried the deep fried cheese curds, truffle fries and buttermilk fried chicken. Yes, I like fried foods. The curds were good but eat them quick because it doesn't taste nearly as good warm as it does cold. The truffle fries were meh and the buttermilk fried chicken was salty and equally meh. Final verdict: come if you like beer!

We came here during our weekend in Toronto and were excited to check out some local breweries. We sat at the bar and the service was pretty good. It appears they have a nice outdoor space as well. All in all, the beers were decent, but nothing noteworthy. I would go back to hang and taste some more beers if I was in the area

Big fan of this place! Nice decent sized patio and indoor seating, perfect for summer. Great selection of craft beers brewed in-house. My favourite is definitely the double IPA (Tsarina bomb). Do the 4 x 4oz tasting for the best experience. There are other micro breweries nearby as well so Bandit would be a great stop if you want to do several breweries in a day.

Such a cool brewery with a great vibe to it. Plus, their logo is a cute raccoon! The place itself was quite large, with lots of room inside. Majority of the tables were reminiscent of picnic tables and benches, but was a smart choice as they can seat more people together if necessary. All beers were crafted in-house and were all very unique. Even had some Oktoberfest options to match the season. We were quite unsure of which ones we wanted, so we ended up getting 3 flights so we could try them all! With four 4oz in a flight for $10, it was quite a worthwhile purchase. Once we had tried our fill, we were able to pick a beer we wanted for the night. They offered steins for their Oktoberfest beers, so thats what we went for. They had some cool options on their food menu as well and to munch on with our beers, we went for the Pretzel Bites and the Cheese Curds. The pretzels were okay, but were more balls that bites. The cheese curds were really good though, as they were light and fluffy! Service was really good, with super chill and friendly servers throughout the night. They seemed to have an awesome patio as well, so I will definitely be down to come and visit again in warmer weather.
