The first places I am going to eat at when Toronto opens up
Ed's Real Scoop
Ice Cream Shop • The Beach
When I feel really shitty, I go here, get an ice cream and then walk on the Boardwalk. It's quite lovely. They've got a few locations around the city but this one is the coolest because of the location.
Evergreen Brick Works
Historic Site • Leaside-Bennington
Got married here. Highly recommend. Hikes and Saturday Farmer's Market are pretty great too.
Bandit Brewery
Brewery • Old Toronto
It's just nice to be outside on their pretty patio drinking beer.
Superpoint
Pizza Place • Trinity Bellwoods
Pizza and pasta. Food's pretty good but it's a vibe I enjoy.
Maker Pizza
Pizza Place • Kensington-Chinatown
Likely best take-home pizza in Toronto. Pretty expensive fwiw but I miss the food here.

Utopia Cafe & Grill
American Restaurant • Palmerston–Little Italy
I just went here a lot growing up. Would eat a lot of burritos and nachos here. It's vegan too.
St. Lawrence Market (North Building)
Farmers Market • Waterfront Communities-The Island
I live nearby and we get a lot of our groceries here. It's quite scenic and the people are cool. Probably best access to fresh fish in the city.

Bar Isabel
Tapas Restaurant • Trinity Bellwoods
One of my old favourite places to go with Jo before they took all the good items off the menu. Someday I hope they'll bring the fried chicken, squid, and ceviche dishes back. But alas.

Giulietta
Italian Restaurant • Old Toronto
Everyone has their own Italian places but this is my favourite. It's pretty fancy but I really enjoy it.

Blackbird Baking Co
Bakery • South Riverdale
This is one of my favourite places to get sourdough. They started in Kensington market and have expanded a bunch in the past few years. I prefer this one because I usually run by it.
Seven Lives - Tacos y Mariscos
Mexican Restaurant • Kensington-Chinatown
This is another Kensington tacos place but the line is usually ridiculous and the prices are a lot higher than they should be. Nonetheless, everyone in Toronto loves it.
El Trompo
Mexican Restaurant • Kensington-Chinatown
The first Mexican restaurant in Toronto apparently. Actual Mexican food not made by some bros or marketing firm with crazy flavours. It's also pretty cost-effective.
