An amazing dining experience! We had the Oomph course and every dish was like a piece of art, made with ingredients sourced from all over Thailand. We were blown away by how much thought went into each plate, from the way it was cooked and presented to the stories behind the ingredients. Each dish came with a postcard showing a painting of the dish and a write-up about its inspiration, which made the experience even more special. Even the plates were custom-made! The staff explained every dish in detail without being too formal or intrusive. It was the most expensive meal we’ve ever had, but it was more than just food—it was an incredible mix of art, culture, and flavors!

We loved the concept and enjoyed the food experience. Having the food cards with the images created curiosity about what the next dish would look like. I found it interesting! However, I didn’t get or fully appreciate all the dishes but some of them were an explosion of unique flavors. The staff were very attentive and kindly explained every single dish. Prices are in line with other Michelin star restaurants. Overall, we liked our dinner experience and we would recommend it for anyone who is eager to leave their palate confort zone. Downsides: I found wine a bit pricy even for the category and we were a bit underwhelmed by the fact that the chef didn’t stop at our table (it has been the norm in any other Michelin star restaurant we’ve been to)

This restaurant is of of the world!!! Starting with the whole concept, the food, the service, the drinks, and last but not least the chef. We were there end of March with high expectation but Canvas exceeded it way more. We had our son with us which was not a problem at all. Luckily we were seated at the counter so we could see the chef and the crew in action. We had 20 course menu and each course was a highlight. The chef noticed that we were interested in food served so he came to us and took the time to explain anything we wanted to know. One of the best Michelin Stars I have been to, of any the best!

To be honest, I didn't have high expectations for the food before my visit, given some negative reviews by many here. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the Oomph course, which left my stomach thoroughly satisfied with bold and unique flavors that are not typically found in ordinary cuisine. This restaurant and its thoughtfully curated set course are definitely worth trying, thanks to the chef's creativity, despite the slightly higher price. Overall, it was a worthwhile experience that I would recommend.

If food was a movie, this meal was definitely a thriller. Every dish pushed the boundaries of the senses, playing with savoury, sweet, sour, spicy, soft, chewy, and crunchy. All the dishes were great except two of them were challenging to eat: the crocodile tongue because of what it was and the vegetable stick because of their very intense flavours. Presentation of the dishes was truly a piece of art, and the service was great. All the staff did a good job in describing the dishes except the chef himself that kind of served one plate and said: "just mix it all up and eat it". I would have expected a bit more passion and better description from the chef himself.

Amazing experience. It truly was a painting sess - it's so clever how they use the ingredients as the brush to mix all the condiments together, the plate being the canvas you paint on, to create heavenly umami in your mouth. Light, not too heavy. Don't be fooled by the tiny portions - they add up. Beautiful interior, delightful menu, gracious hosts - the fine dining trifecta!

Just had one of the most memorable food experience in a very long time. Maybe its not for everyone but for my taste, this place curates such amazing food. We had Feb 2023 menu. The way that chefs manipulate local Thai ingredients, especially in their vegetable-forward dishes, truly stands out. The concept of food-and-art pairing served on tailor-made ceramic plates is such a beautifully coherent experience. My personal favorite dish is caviar & maillard!

Its a culinary experience and less of a meal, but credit is due for their food experimentation, food presentation, and locally sourced exotic ingredients. No doubt it deserves a Michelin for their weird food delivery. The best dishes are the normal spectrum ones - the Fish dish with the savory brotg and the Thai Wagyu. 3 hours to finish the first to last dish, which is around 16 plates in total. Parking is at Somerset. Cost per head is around THB 6.5K Net including a shared bottle of wine with friends. Great for dates but groups can be hard to arrange. The restaurant seats around 20 people.
