The Green Line Grill

Grabbed some dinner with a friend here last night and it was really good! The prices were quite reasonable, the service was fairly quick with friendly staff, and the burgers and fries were delicious! They have a pretty varied menu with several different burgers, a few other main course options, and sides!

From out of town, looks like a dive from the outside but the food is amazing on the inside. Fresh fries, and a perfectly cooked juicy burger. Service was great, it was busy when we went and there was only one cook but she got the food out very fast.

The food was delicious & the staff was extremely friendly! The vibe was fun and welcoming. Can’t wait to come back to CO to bee able to eat here’

The burgers and fries are Soooo good. They use super fresh ingredients. We love a beautifully toasted bun and the fresh-cut fries are deep fried potato perfection. Prices were extremely affordable, especially for the food you get, The staff was friendly, helpful and fast. We really enjoyed the vibes too. It's a small adorable place connected to Thrashers bar (also great). We sat outside with our dog, it was great. Highly recommend.

First time to this place, guy at register was not very attentive. We were looking at the menu but he gave off a vibe like we were wasting his time. Atmosphere is great, nice little place to come and enjoy a drink and eat. We ordered 2 burgers and fries. Burgers were 7/10 but the fries 1/10 were burned and hard. Disappointed because the place is great to just chill out, play some pool or darts, watch a game.

While we have seen this restaurant a number of times, just recently enjoyed. Despite the updates that could not be overlooked, the service was friendly and the food was fresh, hot and tasty! I enjoyed overhearing a moment a waitress asked for a couple of fries to settle a hungry child, while the family waited on their food. Though I cannot comment of the larger side of the building, I would have to assume (until we try it again) that that side is similar in atmosphere: green/red paint, black and white checkered floors and the restaurant logo found throughout.....but it may be different than the "side bar" area we enjoyed the night we went. Be sure to order the fries!!!!

Very nice and cool people 😎 and the food is both wonderful and reasonably priced!! Recommend coming by if you're in the area. We brought 4 rowdy kids in to eat and everyone was kind and accommodating. Thank you for a great experience 🙏

We went to Thrashers bar nextdoor and ordered food. I wanted to say that the food was good overall.. just way too much seasoning on the fries. They were very salty. We didnt get great service at Thrashers so maybe next time we will just eat in the restaurant.

Definitely 5 stars for the following reasons: 1. Best burgers we've had in a LONG time, if ever! I had the Bacon Blue, hubby had Deluxe OFB, daughter had the Original 2. And most important to us!!! GLUTEN FREE BUNS!!! Woot! Woot! And the guy at the register understood the gluten free and dairy free concerns we have. This is huge! 3. AMAZING fries It does look like a dive, connected to a dive bar, but don't let the looks fool you. Definitely worth it!

This place looked like a dive and I really wanted to try it! It looks like an old dinner from back east. There are only 4 tables on the restaurant side. There looks like there's an attached bar or something, but I'm not quite sure if it is part of this restaurant or not. I got a burger and was surprised to get the fries for free since it was Friday. Fry day... get it? Sadly, the fries were over seasoned and the burger was just okay. On a positive note, it was reasonably priced...

Came here for the first time after googling best gluten free burger. Let me tell you they are EXCEPTIONAL. I explained my celiac and Joel was so kind and explained the process for their cooking and the friers. I got the Big Dummy OFB and it was perfection. Full of flavor and perfectly cooked. My husband got the Oinky Doinky and said the same. Fries were full of flavor and the best cook. Portion sizes are very good , you'll leave full. This will replace our old favorite spot and we will be back to try more options.

Crazy good burger as well as veggie burger. 5 stars for service, taste and ambience. We were looking for a decent veggie burger for a while in COS, always bounding big chains. We finally found it.

This place rocks with the onion burgers. We had our first in Okc. They are fresh and made to order. I always get the mushroom and Swiss burger and those amazing fries. Sooo good! You are missing a treat if you haven't stop here.

Gentlemen we're attentive and very pleasant. Love me a dive type ambiance joint, plus it's next to a record store. The only issue I had with the cheeseburger was the grilled onions made it seem watery. Next time, no grilled onions.

Dive bar vibes but it's a burger spot that just happens to serve up the best burgers in the springs. Fries are amazing as well. Ideal spot after a day of bar/brewery hopping downtown.

The green line Grill is very delicious very down to earth very simplistic type of burgers and fries kind of your every day smash burger style of food. Nothing to address this one crazy they are very famous for grilling their onions inside their ground beef of the hamburger itself, but it is very delicious. I would recommend it if you'd like for something simple Maybe more affordable or summer just to get away and hang out. Service is great very friendly. Can't complain about it and the ambience is very backyard girl kind of feeling I would recommended probably for hanging out with the friends or going out with you know your close family probably not try to date night, but it is a good spot to go to

It's hard that the menu is handwritten and does not include prices. It cost about what you'd expected to, but it caused me to be nervous while ordering. The burgers and fries are great. Went on a Saturday at 11:30 AM with the family and the place was deserted. Good for kids at least during the weekend lunch hour.

I arrived into town after traveling from New Hampshire so I was tired and hungry. Based on all the great comments I read about the Green Line Grill, decided to get a burger and fries for take out. It was an absolutely delicious hamburger and fries!! It you want to be choosy about where your burger calories get spent, THIS is the place for it!!

Don't call a hamburger a green chili hamburger when you're loading it with salsa and four slices of fresh jalapeño. Great service and ambience, we will go back for the crispy fries and cheeseburgers this time. My wife's cheeseburger and crispy fries were good.

I hear the burgers here are delicious but we can't get past the Chicken Bacon Ranch sandwich. It may be the tastiest thing in the Springs! Always tender, very flavorful and the side of fries always generous and delicious. You can't go wrong here!

Damnnnnnn! The Big Dummy was outstanding. FLAVOR FLAVOR FLAVOR. And then a mountain of 'boardwalk' style fresh cut potatoe fries. I'm not from here, but I can't wait to work my way thru the rest of the menu as my Switchbacks pre-game tradition whenever I'm in town. Well done!

Excellent burgers. Wow! Travel the country and always looking for the spot locally. This is it. I had the Big Dummy Burger. Wife had the Double burger . Wish I would have found this place sooner.

Came here for lunch on a Monday afternoon. We were greeted by the bartender who took our orders and brought our food out to us. The place is very cute, it was giving me diner vibes. The burger itself was DELICIOUS!! So tasty, and it came out very quickly!! Our server (the bartender) was very attentive and kind, refilling our drinks and assisting us in any way she could. Prices were decent for the portions and quality of the food. Would definitely come back for trivia nights that are on Mondays!

I love seeing resturants that try to create a new burger with whatever they can but a lot of the time I want a simple good burger and fries. Well this place really does good on that. So if you want a good traditional burger this is your place. Wonderful staff and it has that old diner feel.

Wow. Everything was so delicious. These burgers are perfect and I wouldn't change anything about them. It's in a little joint. Order at the counter, pick your seat, and then bring your food to the table. Fridays are free fries with anything you order. Please eat here!!!

I visited Colorado Springs just to try the onion burger here! I liked the dive atmosphere and service was quick and friendly. The burger was good, although I was a bit disappointed that the onion taste wasn't more prominent

I have tried to go to this joint multiple times and they were usually closed. Finally made it because I kept hearing that they have amazing burgers. I ordered a deluxe burger with bacon. It was okay. Their fries are decent too. I do like the building itself. It seems like a nice spot to hang out and watch the game, shoot some pool or darts, and have a burger and a beer.

Simple but classic burger joint. Food was decent, we had a bacon chicken ranch sandwich and a cheeseburger that was tasty. The fries were okay, but not our favorite. Quick service. They had about three tables and a bar seating.

I've heard so much about Green Line Grill and finally got there to try "Colorado Springs Best Burger". We even mentioned that to the gut who took our order and he just replied "they're not wrong". No smile or friendly banter. They'd just opened so maybe he hadn't found his groove yet today. Anyway, we ordered our burgers, deluxe with fries and drinks and took a seat. The drinks came right out and the food followed shortly. The burgers were good. Nice size (especially for the price) with nice flavor and plenty meat and toppings. Not gigantic but also not too small. The fries were hot and well-seasoned. However a number of my fries were tinged green. My research shows that's not necessarily dangerous but also not great. I kinda stopped eating the fries when I noticed. So, the place was clean. Service was adequate. Burgers were good, but not best I've had in town. The good fries were very good. I'm glad I went. Probably wouldn't go again. But they're overall good.

Amazing burgers! Doesn't look like much on the outide, but has such a cool vibe inside! Vinyl booths, pool tables, a stage for musicians to perform. Great food, great atmosphere!

Stopped by here this evening because I was needing something for dinner. I constantly drive by this place and I have to say I'm pissed I didn't stop sooner. Great burgers. Great service. And honestly this is how a burger place should be. The staff was very helpful in pointing me in the right direction for what to order. Will be going back again solely for the man on the grill tonight being willing to make the burgers slightly pink! Good service and good food is hard to find in this town at these prices!

My brother and I stopped in because it's one of his favorites. Busy place with people from all walks of life. I had the deluxe cheeseburger with lettuce tomato and onion. It came on a unique bun that held up well ti a REAL hamburger patty with good cheese and fresh veggies. The fries were the hand cut type that weee fried and seasoned well. Great little spot.

Ordered the deluxe burger and fries absolutely delicious. The seasoning on the fries was amazing and a lot of it. The burger was flavorful. Definitely taste different ingredients. Onions were delicious. Definitely will go back to try something else.

If ever in the Colorado Springs area, definitely come here! My husband and I stopped by Colorado Springs for lunch during in our way back to Houston. After deciding on burgers, we decided to stop by The Green Line Grill based on the awesome reviews. We were immediately greeted by Mike. He was really nice and patient in explaining everything to us! We ultimately decided to order the Bacon Bleu burger, Deluxe Fried Onion burger, hand cut fries, and chili. All I can say is, "Wow!" Food was hot, fresh, and delicious! If you're ever in this area, stop by this place-you won't regret it!

I had been here before when we first moved here about 5 yrs ago and remembered it being good and we were close by so decided to stop by. The place is on a corner and very relaxed. It is small and will not fit many people so definitely not for large groups but it was just my son and me. We ordered our food and did not wait too long. I added cheddar to my blue cheese burger which was delicious. Their fried taste fresh and was delicious. Only thing is they sell their sodas by the can so if you're hoping for a free refill you won't get it. Great little spot!

Never judge a book by its cover! That what my grandma used to say and it applies to eateries as well. We cruised in on a Friday at 1:45 and were greeted by the coolest bartender. She gave us the lowdown and we ordered. There was only a family with two toddlers and a single guy in the place. Service was quick, very chill vibe. Bartender told us Fridays they have karaoke and Saturday's live bands. Tons of billiards tables. I mean this as one of my highest compliments, "great food and people in a divey environment". If we lived here we would be regulars.

Order at the bar, sit there or at a table. Kid friendly, great food, and great joint. We will be back

I've only ever ate at the Green Line side and not the bar, but the experience was great. Just a classic onion grilled burger with whatever specific topping you order. Menu is the classic bowling alley style Coca Cola board with nothing other than the main dishes and side with no descriptions of the Otis, Deluxe, or Special Burger, but that whats makes it worth the time and effort. Definitely will enjoy again.

Cute looking place, an old school counter service place. Looks like it's been there for years. I don't not understand the ratings. The burger was completely overcooked and tasted like a salt lick. The fries were ok, ranch sucks. I would avoid this place. There has to be a better option

I like green line grill. They are a great little joint to grab a good burger. I wish their fries were better though, they are always limp and soggy. I highly recommend Green Line Grill if you're looking to grab a yuck and good burger on the go!

I finally got around to trying The Green Line Grill for lunch and wasn't disappointed. Their menu had quite a bit of specialty burgers but I ended up going with the Deluxe and added green chile and bacon and have to say it was one of the best burgers I have had here in The Springs. not to mention their fries were fresh and top-notch. I also liked that they had a full bar and prices were fair.

I don't see what the big deal is. There's three small tables and awkward vibe when you walk in. It reminds me of a bar burger without the bar. Well actually it's connected to one. Price is average. Not a fan of the fries or the green chili. Burger. If you want a slipper go to Pueblo.

my blood pressure was through the roof after eating their.all of their food is so so so salty and they just dont care. making money is their number 1 priority .they could care less if you dropdead from a stroke as long as their ratings are up then screw the dead customers right!my advice is if you have any kind of health problems just dont go because you take the chance of dying from the super high sodium intake.plenty of safer places to eat in town.just dont take that chance they are not worth it.

My second day in town, I stumbled into this place and man let me tell you it was amazing. The food was amazing as was the service. Highly recommend.

After a long internalized debate and quiet paused I'm giving up the ghost on one of my favorite spots that is even try not to offset the balance of by going to often . The service alone is a question you can remove from page . It feels like m going backwards in time . The artwork inside depicts exactly what should when you enter the OG dancing foods from the drive in theaters of years gone by. The food dominates . The oinky doinky burger breaks the game . Slide through for karaoke also amazing experience

TLDR: Come for the food and stay for the vibes. After finishing a rough first-time trip up the Manitou Incline, my family and I were looking for a place to eat past 9pm. After looking on Reddit, I stumbled on a thread that praised Green Line Grill for its burgers. From the outside of the building, it looks like any restaurant/diner with decent food that's seen a multitude of visitors. However, little did family and I know that we were in for Colorado Springs finest food and friendliest individuals. As we entered, we were greeted by the sound of locals participating in karaoke. The bartender, Otis, proceeded to greet me and my family and gave us the most welcoming Colorado Springs hospitality. After ordering burgers named after Otis himself, we thought our night couldn't get any better. Then, we met Bobby. Bobby is such a kind soul and can brighten anyone's day by just talking about Colorado Springs or asking us where we're visiting from. He made sure we were taken care of in every way possible. By the end of our meal, he was talking to us like we were his family and giving us hugs and sending us so much love. I've never felt more at home in a place that I was visiting for the first time. Now for the food: If you've never tried an onion-fried burger, this is the place to try it. If you like fresh fries, this is the place to do it. The burgers had a nice char and were thin but packed with the most insane flavors. I had the Otis and I have never had a burger with so much flavor especially when it had a veggie AND beef patty. The fries were seasoned to perfection and the cheese sauce was a perfect complement to it. Every ingredient tasted fresh and prepared with the utmost care. If there was any souvenir that I could take back to Texas from Colorado Springs, Colorado, it would be my experience eating at the Green Line Grill.

Looking for a good time swing on into the green lineGrill, .great food, chill place to hang out with friends. Drinking is not my thing, but they do offer some alcoholic beverages and from what I could see it looks like some local breweries on Tap.

My husband and I came here because I was craving a burger and we saw this place had good ratings. And the ratings weren't wrong! Their food is SOOOO GOOD!!! Good portions too! Yes, the place is divey, but the women working there were sooo friendly, awesome, and passionate about good food! I definitely recommend!

Great burgers. Fun atmosphere. Low key and casual. Gone as you are. Fast service. Prices have creeped up, but that is expected for downtown.
