Officine Universelle Buly 1803 is an absolute treat for anyone who loves beautifully curated beauty and grooming products. The selection is incredible—everything from luxurious perfumes and rich creams to elegant soaps, hair care, and skincare tools. My wife was especially thrilled to find a de‑tangling hairbrush customized with her name on it, which felt like such a special find. Yes, it’s definitely on the pricier side, but the quality truly lives up to the price. You really get what you pay for—each item feels refined, unique, and thoughtfully made. If you enjoy timeless, artisanal beauty products, this store is a must‑visit.

I’ve always preferred the Officine Universelle Buly counter inside Bon Marche, but this location in Le Marais gives you the brand’s full experience. The warm wood throughout the spacious boutique is lovely, and it’s hard not to admire the glass cases that line the shelves and ceiling. The opera music playing in the background adds to the atmosphere, and there’s even a coffee bar (with purse/bar hooks) where you can chill. (Right now it’s open weekends only). The staff are friendly and helpful. A very special thank you to Magali, who was so knowledgeable and welcoming. She helped me find products I really love, including the Mexican tuberose body oil and water-based perfume + the amber scent! I’ll definitely be back for more. 😍 Pro tip: go on a Tuesday morning and you’ll avoid the long lines you usually find at all these stores.

I don't know about the perfume but the cafe in the same store is amazing. The barista was professional, friendly and graceful. Her coffee were delicious, I ordered coffee with a hint of creme, surssok white coffee was delicious, and the barista even made a special affogato that was out of this world. 4 drinks only came to 14.5 euros. You can let the person at the door you're just coming for coffee then skip the line.

About 20-30 mins wait and then you get to step in into a world of amazing oil based perfumes, mirrors, hair combs, mirrors, lip balms et al. You can get your name engraved as well in a calligraphic font of your choice ( they have a card with options). You do get a set of cards to smell and choose your perfume, hand cream etc from and as well get to keep those cards for later. I would definitely be ordering the perfumes online and the cards definitely would come in handy. A cafe in there does help you with your coffee cravings and any sweet tooth urges that need to be addressed.

I had a lovely experience visiting the Buly 1803 store in Paris. From the moment I stepped inside, the elegant atmosphere and vintage apothecary vibe made it feel like I’d entered another era. A special shout-out to Caroline, who was incredibly sweet and accommodating throughout my visit. She made me feel very welcome and helped me choose the perfect items. While the prices were definitely on the higher end, I treated myself to a hand cream and an eau de toilette as a birthday gift — and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase 🥰. The quality and presentation of the products are absolutely beautiful.

It was a very nice experience in the shop. I bought the brush and the perfume, the clerk was very patient and took a lot of time to make it pleasant. Very pricey but you don’t do it every day so you can spoil yourself there. For the men to wait, there is also a cafe bar.

Handmade combs, brushes, perfumes, and creams that can be personalised with your initials. Also perfect for a little break at their lovely bar!

This was a really cool experience. They sell vintage styled perfumes, lip balm, toothbrushes and a few other things. I came here specifically to buy a leather engraved lip balm. While the lip balm is simple with no added scents, you get to choose the tin holder, the leather in which you can get your initials engraved as well as a pouch. It's definitely a cute gift idea to bring back home and the staff were pleasant as well

This place is like stepping back in time to shop for custom lotions, body oils and perfumes. The staff treated us like we were buying a Rolls Royce! We were actually... the Rolls Royce of custom body creams. Enjoy a beautiful cup of tea or coffee while you shop.
