Drag Performers Redefine Paris’s Historic Cabaret Scene | Eater

"A mythic Pigalle cabaret that still programs traditional cancan, Édith Piaf ballads, and feathered spectacle while also experimenting with high-end mashups of drag and gastronomy; in 2024 the club hosted a roving 'King Chefs & Drag Queens' series pairing four-course dinners by Michelin-caliber chefs with shows featuring well-known Drag Race alumni, offering a luxe, theatrical night where haute cuisine and drag performance are equally central." - Caitlin Gunther

We had an amazing evening here! It was my first time at a burlesque show, so I didn't have any expectations. It turned out to be a wonderfully entertaining night! They have dance and artist numbers, including something for the ladies, which I didn't expect. The main star is the singer who has an incredible voice! Especially the jazz number was fitting her voice so well! They also included the audience in their show, so if you want to participate, buy the front row tickets. A lot of the numbers were very 80s and 2000s style music, which is not my personal favorite. But the rest of the numbers made up for it. It is definitely a great affordable alternative compared to Moulin Rouge!

Once in Paris, it is highly reccomended to visit a Cabaret. While the famous one is the Moulin Rouge, i visited La Nouvelle Eve, and it was of the best shows that i have been to! The style of the place - so cool and with good touch. The reservation meets perfectly your wishes. The show itself is fantastic, funny, good music, all the things together - and that's why it is 10/10. I enjoyed and return again for sure.

It was our first burlesque show and it was amazing, I would return. It is a smaller more intimate theater that made you feel part of the experience. We chose just the just review option and not either the dinner or champagne add-ons which where available. We order a bottle of wine once seated at our table to enjoy during the show.

Very fun show! We were seated right in the front. Didn't have dinner so cannot speak on the food, but we did add the bottle of champagne at the table which was nice. Would recommend if traveling to Paris.

We had a wonderful time at the dinner and show. The performance was very entertaining, with a good amount of humour mixed in. We weren't expecting too much from the food, but actually found everything to be very tasty. And we were provided an ample amount of wine for 2 people (1 bottle of red and 1 bottle of white) with champagne to start. This was one of our more memorable experiences in Paris and was well worth the visit.

We went to the 10.30pm show on Saturday evening and it was fabulous. Awesome male and female dancers, the specially acts were outstanding and singer was fantastic... Great seats with a clear unobstructed view of the stage. This is a must see show if you are in Paris. Thank you for the best evening...

It was fun.. another box checked off my bucket list. Food was fine, but not spectacular (we are bougie foodies, so don't hold it against them). I loved the champagne and the red wine (provided one class of champagne, 1 bottle of white wine and a bottle of red). The service and staff were wonderful. The music and choreography felt a bit dated (80s-90s kitschy) but it was really fun and funny. The acrobatics were top notch (bathtub 😉). I was just excited to see an authentic cancan dance. We only had one evening in Paris and felt it was $$$ well spent.

If you book a table for 2 - you get a very generous amount of drinks. 2 bottles! Unfortunately, this number doesn’t increase if you book more than 2. The food was fantastic - they had foie gras, how can it be not amazing? However, during the dinner, there was no entertainment, so it was a bit boring. The show is just okish, not impressive.

Yelp
My sister and I had too much fun at La Nouvelle Eve. Easy to find after a wonderful evening exploring Sacre Coeur and Montmartre, and an easy book ahead process to reserve our tickets. We went with the 8:30pm show and were seated towards the back. We ordered a bottle of rose and settled in for an evening of total silliness and can-can. Note: this show does contain nudity so maybe not the best call for a big family outing. Service was prompt and the venue itself is really lovely. $85 a ticket is a little steep for what you get but I was heartened that alcohol and food prices upon arrival aren't wild. Enjoy! A great option!

Yelp
Just talking to t a friend from Paris about our night here. We really enjoyed it and it's definitely worth the price, albeit a bit high, for the experience of a true Paris burlesque show. Food was good. Service was great. The show is what it was ... campy and silly and much more reminiscent of a lounge act of a '80's Love Boat episode (just with a lot of topless girls) ... but it was fun and worth experiencing.

Yelp
Amazing performances! I was so jazzed to be there and we had such great seats right in front of the stage. At first it seemed a little corny with the intro song and dance but it ended up going through a whole range of performances, sexy, funny, fun, etc. We loved the variety. My boyfriend also got called up on stage for a silly dance contest and he ended up winning so they gave him a free t shirt! It was an unforgettable night!

Yelp
We had a great time here! If you go to one of these shows your expectations cannot be at the level of broadway, as it is not that. But for the price, the experience and overall good time it was well worth the cost of the ticket (which is half the price as Moulin Rouge and just as fun).

Yelp
Absolutely loved the show! It was a revue of multiple song/dance numbers and comic acts. My favorite was the traditional can-can number with the girls in their colorful ruffled dresses mooning us with their knickers, kicking high, doing airborne splits and whooping throughout. The dancers, both men and women, were all enthusiastic and skilled and a pleasure to watch. Expect a lot of topless dancing by the women, but it is done in an elegant and classy way, especially with the gorgeous costumes! One of the surprises of the night was the white statue number where a single guy, using a puppet, mesmerized us with his headless act -- like something trippy you'd see in Las Vegas! The venue is beautiful and I loved the bottles of champagne we enjoyed while watching the show. I'm told this is a bit more upscale to the Moulin Rouge down the street, although I have not been to a show there. TIP: No photography or video allowed during the show, but you'll enjoy it so much you won't care!

Yelp
I do love the small, intimate seating. Very nice inside and reminded me of the Goodfellas movie, kinda. My meal was pretty decent, my friends was more like average - she nor I preferred her salmon which was really the fish but like a fish patty thing, was kinda weird. The show was alright. Kind of cheesy. One male dancer was really, really good and some of the others seemed new, or something...? The ladies were all good and then there's the boobs, if you're into that. It was my first show seeing topless and it was fine, I guess. I'm more into shows that have a story line that just show tune type of acts. Which, that's just me. They did give us tons of wine, too!

Yelp
My first time to cabaret and it was a lot of fun! The dancers were fantastic. It's a small theatre, so you can see very easily if someone's doesn't feel like performing, but everyone there was on point. In addition to the singing and dancing, they had mini shows in between and brought audience members on stage. Very comical! Recommended!

Yelp
Probably one of my favorite experiences this trip! I could not stop smiling because it was such a good show! It had comedy, music and some of the most beautiful women and performers In Paris! I booked this super last minute although I had been looking at it for weeks. Andrea, was able to schedule my reservation 1.5hrs before the show and I had an amazing vantage point, great champagne, great entertainment and great cheese player. I went on a Monday when they have discount prices but the experience was everything I had been hoping for! Great little bars close by to check out before or after the show; or both! Highly recommend!

Yelp
Fantastic show! Fun Parisian show with the best can-can. Humorous acts between dancing performances - loved by 6 adults 49+ years of age. We laughed, clapped and cheered. We ate at a nearby cafe with delicious food and tasty cocktails. Excellent people watching. The champagne was flowing at the show.

Yelp
Absolutely cheesetastic but worth seeing it once. The Moulin Rouge is just up the street if you want to double up on the can-can action. Both are dinner-and-show establishments.

Yelp
Very good show! Not very can can traditional though. It was more like a Vegas show but I loved the acts in between the dance and singing performances. The female star of the show did not lip sync which was great! All the performances were very organized and professional. In between the dancing acts there was a comedian, two brothers who juggled and were hilariously funny, and a dance contest with peoole from the audience. The staff was friendly and the bathrooms were clean. You have the option of dinner and the show or just the show and champagne. We did the show and champagne with our tour group. The show with dinner is about 90 and show with champagne is like 75/80. You cannot take photos inside or of the performance. The show began on time and had no intermissions for guests..the show was a little too long. One dance act shorter would have been perfect. I went to the Moulin Rouge about 5 years ago and this show was 100x better. I got a quality show for my money and it was walking distance to my hotel and around great restaurants for dinner before or after the show. Be sure to be on time for the show or you will miss a lot. They also do the show in English and French and get the audience to participate which makes it fun!
