Key takeaways: not worth the cost, portion sizes are not uniform, limited to 6 dishes every 7 minutes.
Went to this restaurant for the first time about a week and a half ago. It was my wife and I with 2 friends. There was no wait to be served. They had plenty of tables open, but decided to sit us next to another group, and the booth side of the table only has one way to get in and out due to how they plumbed the gas lines. The waitress introduced herself and we let her knkw it was our first time there. She explained the menu and stated that they have a limit of 6 items max per order, and that we could reorder after 7 minutes. She stated the servings were good sized, so we ordered the premium. We got some rice, wagyu steak bites and beef strips. When the dishes came out it was surprising to us how small they were, considering there was 4 of us sharing the 6 items. The fried rice was good but was not big enough for 4. The steak bites weren't worth the premium cost, never had wagyu beef that was bristle and so fatty. The portion gave each of us 2 small pieces each. We ordered other items over the course of our dinner. About the 4th order we ordered another fried rice and some corn cheese. The corn cheese came out in a mini cast iron skillet which would have been good for one person, not 4. It was good. The second order of fried rice was twice the size of the first, and we only order 1 of it. We asked the waitress why the sizes seemed to be getting bigger the longer we stayed and kept ordering. She couldn't answer that question. That serving of fried rice made us watch the sizes of other dishes. In general, the sizes of the dishes were slowly getting larger the longer we ate. The only thing that makes sense with this business practice is they have on their menu any leftovers would be charged $25 per plate. So, they increase the chances of being able to do that by starting with small dishes that make you order more when the 7 minutes were up. As you get to the end of the meal, if you aren't careful, the serving sizes are so much, that you could easily fall into the trap they have laid. Oh, and you cant take the food you have to pay extra for home, no takeout. Ordering food was done via a table touchscreen which was not easy to navigate. Our waitress wasnt really paying much attention to things, especially when we wanted our check.
