I usually get excellent service, food, and coffee but on this occasion it was so horrible that I'll never return. I purchased a pb&j toast. I noticed that the crust was burnt black (pictured) but I look at the bottom (pictured) and it didn't look too bad so I decided to just not eat the crust. When I take a bite I notice that the taste and texture was off so I scraped off some of the topping then some more. The entire top was burnt just like the crust (pictured). It looked like it was prepared in the fires of Mordor. I was solid black like charcoal.
Not only was this bread not safe for consumption, but what gets me is someone saw it was inedible, unsafe, and solid black then MADE THE INTENTIONAL CHOICE TO DECEIVE ME BY COVERING UP THE INEDIBLE SIDE WITH PB&J!
I don't care about time, money, or having it perfect. The deliberate choice to deceive me shows a lack of character, care, and professionalism. I called and the head chef said he would look into it, apologized, and said he would remake it for me but I couldn't leave work at the point.
EDIT: I also forgot another occasion where they gave my toast away to another person. As I was sitting in the drive through I watched her walk back into the store, explain that she was given the wrong order, hand back the toast, then they walk over to the window and hand it to me. I asked, "is this the toast that the lady just had?" They respond, "yes." *I make a face. They asked if I would like it remade and I say yes. It's standard procedure not to take food back and give it to another customer. I had to trust they remade it. I was once delivered someone's blaze pizza order and I called and asked if they wanted it back. They sad, "no, we'll just throw it away. For food safety we can't take it back."
