What can I say, I'm visiting from California and I consider myself a foodie, and this place knocks it out the park. Definitely giving California restaurants a run for their money.
I would consider this place New American with a touch of gastronomy; for example the olive oil cake with Meyers lemon was so moist it was more like a mousse, but you could tell it was cake just to give an example, that's the gastronomy side. The oysters, my wife's first time having them, loved it. The West Coast tasted just like the ocean where we live, the East Coast were sweet and fruity.
No complaints at all with the food. Now our server Dion was on point engaging conversation with us answering all our questions, breaking down what was going to be served. Top notch in all.
I dropped $210 ( tip included) on dinner and the way I rate restaurants, does the food justify the price, all I can say is I underpaid for the quality of food and creativity of how good it was. I could have paid more and it still would have been worth it.
you won't be disappointed coming here. The ambiance is amazing, music is not too loud, nobody's being foolish with drinks, everybody's just having a good dinner, good conversation, and a really good time. The staff is amazing. seriously, Cobble Hill could be a standard for many restaurants to succeed, and the plating artistic. Everything was amazing, no complaints, it was an experience, not just a sit down and eating restaurant. It was a wonderful, great experience. Thank you so much for making our dinner amazing.
