Egg sandwiches were so good!! On fresh brioche bun and sriracha mayo… YUM! Food and coffee were delicious and the staff just made it amazing. They were super attentive and kind. I definitely will come back to try a burger from here. Definitely recommend Ahuevo!

The reviews are absolutely correct, this place is great!! It’s quaint, the food is presented well, and tastes great. Perfect spot for lunch or breakfast.

Amazing experience both times, this was located right by our hotel, and their burrito and hot chocolate I just couldn’t get enough. Customer service was top tier. I will definitely be making this a regular stop everytime we come!

Got the BEC scrambled to-go and it was so good - not skimpy and worth the $12. Inside is clean and staff were v nice. There’s also a vegan option. Thank you!

I was in town from out of state and this spot was conveniently located right next to our hotel. We came the first morning and had the burritos, and they were delicious! The customer service was also fantastic, and the woman working was making sure we were enjoying everything. We came again before we left town because it was so good. Customer service was on point again! You can tell they are great people and care about their customers. Will definitely stop by the next time we’re in town!

Legit smashburger. Nice crust on the patty, complementary secret sauce that doesn't overwhelm the other toppings and honestly one of the best brioche buns I've had on a burger. Ordered pickup and it was ready in under 10 minutes. Great, walking-distance option from my office. I'll definitely be back to try their breakfast which seems to be their specialty.

the hotel next door has a breakfast buffet that is one of the lamest I have seen, Ahuevo! is excellent and is just as close as the buffet. Had the pork sausage sandwich and loved it. Don't miss the hot chocolate. Came back later and had the smash burger for lunch. It is a smashing smash burger. Tell them you saw a review from Santa. Ho ho ho

Tried Ahuevo for the first time today and was so impressed! The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the Bacon, Egg and Cheese Sandwich, the Burrito con huevos, puffy tots, and a sweet iced coffee. All food was incredibly fresh and prepared to order. The staff were so kind and friendly!! Will definitely be back and highly recommend!

We got Breakfast Burritos w fresh eggs & sausage (I chose a Vegan version they had which was incredible) and w Caf De Olla. Great spot to warm up and have a delicious meal! A very welcoming, clean space to meet or take your food to go. After walking around the city in the cold for some meetings this was a perfect energy boost. The owner even came over to greet us, he's a genuinely such a kind person. Love to find a family owned local spot like this!

In a word: YUM! The sandwiches and breakfast burritos are large and tasty. It took me two days to finish a burrito. Yay! The aqua de Jamaica is fresh and the cafe-con-chata ( coffee with horchata ) is on point! Check out this location. Your tummy will thank you! Welcome to the South Loop!
