Undeniably the best vacation experience ever. Incredible in every way. We actually were there Christmas of 2023/New Year's 2024. Masaii warriers! Our butler was "Alex" The lodge and rooms beautiful, service impeccable. Rose petals bath a surprising touch! My husband was ill and full meals were brought to the room. Don't know why it took me so long to write a review. I'd go back in a heartbeat and I recommend to anyone.

We've traveled all over the world and stayed at many nice places. We were only here for 1 quick night, but this place makes the top 5 nicest places. The room was simply amazing, with the best views. The staff were superb and the one meal we had was most delicious. I only wish we had more time here, they made our stay even more special with an arrival bubble bath ready and dinner flowers.||Special thanks to Saibel our waiter and room attendant. We will be back, and stay for several nights.

I just spent 3 nights at this &beyond lodge. Was one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. The attention to detail is next level and the lodge itself is very unique.|Upon arrival you are greeted by song and smiles. All of the staff seem genuinely happy for you to be there.|Our butler Msisi was a wonderful, friendly attentive person.||Our private guide was TEMU. He was I believe as good as it gets. Very knowledgeable, he knew exactly where to go for sightings. We would have breakfast with him down in the crater and share stories of our different cultures. He was an excellent driver and always made us feel safe and comfortable.|If you get the chance to stay here ASK FOR TEMU!||The Crater is beautiful and the wildlife is abundant. The &beyond Crater Lodge is special.

Amazing lodge! I can’t put into words how incredible and special this place is. One of the nicest hotels we have ever visited. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The entire staff was incredibly kind, hospitable, attentive and welcoming. In particular, our butler, Safari, enriched and augmented our experience every step of the way, always going above and beyond. In addition, the chef, Edgar, created a new delicious menu every day. All the food was amazing! The lodge itself is stunning, with truly breathtaking views as a backdrop. Our bedroom was beautiful and very spacious. The common areas were equally stunning, with amazing areas to unwind and relax after your game drive. It is the perfect location to explore the Crater. Highly recommend this wonderful lodge!

From the moment we were picked up from the airport the 4 of us were in awe - of the beauty of the landscape, the animals everywhere, the weather, but mostly the people. We felt so welcome and truly thought everyone was going out of their way to make our 3 night stay an experience we would never forget. Daniel was frequently checking in on us with a smile on his face, Upendo went above and beyond to make sure our meals were to our liking & that we basically had no wants, and Twalib was an expert game driver providing us an experience we will never forget. I'm getting tears in my eyes just writing this review. I know they are closed for extensive remodeling now, but I hope they keep the whole African vibe and don't go too modern. Such a unique and special place!

Absolutely unbelievable! Do not stay just one night here. We stayed at 6 beautiful lodges and hotels throughout our luxury stay in Tanzania and nothing compared to our stay here! The attention to detail and level of service is unparalleled. Our butter George was perfection.

This place is absolutely stunning! I cannot say enough positive things about our experience here. The staff were 5 star all around. The accommodations have a rustic feel but the lodges are all as elegant as anything you will ever find anywhere. The food and dining experience was worthy of a Michelin Star. Our guides put us on animals all day. They were entertaining, friendly informative and knew what the hell they were doing! We were there late June '23. Let me tell you, it was cold! I'm a Georgia boy but it shocked me how cold it was at the lodge and in the Crater. My family was unprepared and me and my boy got a cold shortly thereafter. andBeyond took care of us, of course! It is 70 miles south of the Equator! WTH? It is a magnificent destination!

Ngorogoro Crater Lodge is an unparalleled safari experience. Jemma, JJ, Marcel, Erick, Alex and team make you feel like family and introduce you to a world you thought only could exist in your wildest dreams. We celebrated Christmas at the lodge with an extended family of 13. We never felt rushed or like strangers. The Maasai warriors who greeted, protected, and celebrated their culture with us are a component of the adventure we will never forget.
