What a great find. We stopped in for dinner at Landeros and Rose was so kind and sweet. She explained that there was a 30 minute wait list and within 15 minutes we had a lovely table be the ornamental tree in the restaurant. Yarry was our server and he was professional, kind and efficient. We both ordered drinks as my wife had a margarita light on agave and I had a Cadillac margarita. The chips were fresh and the salsa quite tasty. My wife ordered the chicken verde enchilada entree and I had Chicken fajitas. Both dishes were excellent. The vibe and ambiance was upbeat and positive. Rose stopped by several times to check on us as did Yarry. Great place and highlyrecommended!

Google
Continuing the bday celebration with the man, we found this lil cozy spot in Old Town. We were seated very quickly, took a look at the menu, typical Mexican cuisine. Their drink menu oh my. But, after we were seated it took 20 minutes before we got some water, chips salsa. Then another 15 for someone to ask hey has anyone stopped by your table. Now mind you another couple was seated after us. Received water, drinks, chips/salsa within 10 minutes. If you know me, I was hot. The man said wait, so I waited. Finally the server apologetically came over, took our order and the food was out in about 20 minutes. Was it good? It’s fine. I liked the spot, will try again. You will like it too. I loved the decor.

Google
The food here was delicious. I wanted to try a new place and when I came it was the perfect time it wasn’t that busy 🙌🏾 the chips and salsa were so fresh and tasty 🤤 the agua Fresca was very refreshing!! I highly recommend coming you won’t be disappointed! Great service and a beautiful atmosphere.

Everything was delicious! First time visiting. I heard great things and they did not disappoint. Our server was Junior, he was so attentive and friendly, made us feel welcome.

Google
Our first time in Temecula and we stopped here to eat. It was excellent! The food, atmosphere, and service were all exceptional. Don't skip this restaurant, you will enjoy it. I loved that they had potato tacos. As a vegetarian there aren't many options and so when I saw they had potato tacos I jumped on it. They were delicious! We are foodies, so we know what good food is an it is definitely this spot.

Google
Very good quality food and excellent personnel at Landeros. It was my first time there, and it will not be my last.

Google
Pretty good Mexican restaurant in Old Town Temecula. The Chile Verde Burrito is huge and definitely filling. Good flavor overall and just hits the spot. They have a Margarita Flight too which is pretty fun to share. Good variety and my favorite was the hibiscus. The service is pretty standard and the ambiance was modern and fun.

Google
The restaurant is perfect for pictures and really cute inside. That said, the food is okay. It wasn't bad or great. The churros would have benefited a bit with more sauce and sugar to their presentation. Also, the shirley temple had a heavy amount of grenadine and was too sweet for my liking. Definitely worth checking out if you want some cute pictures during a dinner.

Yelp
1. i love the ambience here! it's small restaurant but it's very cozy! 2. the service is really good! waiters are always so nice to me and my family. 3. food is always accurate and tasty. my usual order is the birria tacos and they are the best birria i've had at a restaurant in temecula!

Yelp
We stopped in about 6:30 on a Saturday and there was no wait. I didn't think that was possible! They have a great patio, but there were no open tables there, so we sat inside. The restaurant is smaller than I would have expected, but cute. The server quickly brought out chips and salsa, and both were really good. I ordered the chile relleno with rice and beans and that was quite good, too. We didn't order drinks, but we saw some fabulously fancy cocktails being served at a nearby table. The food was very good, as was the service. We would definitely stop in again!

Yelp
Great ambience and location off the Main Street of Old Town. We were swiftly seated on a Saturday without reservations and as we sat down, a hot bowl of chips and salsa met us. The chips are delicious and taste fresh. Ashley was our waitress and she was fantastic, always checked on us and gave me a great recommendation that the loaded fries are massive. I shared that with my two young daughters. Husband had the birria plate and said it was only ok. My fries were a bit overcooked and so was the steak. My mango margarita was refreshing and delicious! It was the attentive service from Ashley that made our night!

Yelp
Imagine your favorite taco shop also has a breezy, dine-in location that feels like a dream and tastes like heaven. Yes! This is the place! This is my new go-to place in Temecula. The service was excellent. The decor was uplifting and the food? Three bites in and we were already discussing what we will try next time. The chicken Enchiladas Enmoladas were rich and topped with just the right pickled onion. The Chile Relleno wasn't hidden in a thick batter. The beans and rice were spot on. The salsa? We needed two bowls. Also, check out the well-stocked bar, and come by on a sunny afternoon to enjoy the patio dining. I won't stop getting my favs at El Ranchitos shops around So Cal, but this is now my "home" for a longer, more relaxed authentic meal.

Yelp
Was in town for a family event . Needed some food after driving for 8 hours. Yelp recommended this place and it did not disappoint ! Food and drinks were great and the service was exceptional.

Yelp
We were just walking down the street on a hot summer day. I thought well this looks like a fun place for lunch ... It is ... The Mexican food here is delicious. Of course we started with the guacamole. I had a very refreshing hibiscus non-alcoholic drink that was so refreshing . The enchiladas verdes were stuffed with chicken fresh roasted chicken... This restaurant screams Mexican authenticity, but it's got a very cool almost Melrose place vibe. You really must enjoy a meal here with your time in Temecula.

Yelp
First time at this restaurant for a wedding rehearsal dinner. First and foremost the restaurant was very accommodating. The service from our waitress and servers were amazing and top notch; they were in top of everything from refilling drinks to keeping our appetizers refilled. Food was amazing and flavorful. I ordered the steak fajitas and they sure came out sizzling on the plate. I enjoyed the cool and fun vibe and joy to mention 80s and 90s music. I will definitely be coming back soon.

Yelp
Every dish was outstanding in flavor and presentation. Can't wait to return again and again. Staff were pleasant and skilled. Loved the imaginative, eclectic decor.

Yelp
I came here on the weekend for a party of 5. Reservations were made in advance so we were seated fairly quickly. The decor was just beautiful. So colorful and vivid. The food came in generous portions with reasonable prices. I was pleased with my choice of loaded fries and a sweet non-alcoholic drink.

Regina C.

Yelp
Delicious Fajitas as well chips and salsa. Nice ambience with a beautiful tree in the restaurant. We had great service with a party of sixteen. Definitely will go back again.

Yelp
From the moment you walk in, the decor is an experience just in itself. We came here to celebrate our friends wedding anniversary with them. They were able to make reservations easily over the phone as the place gets busy and seating is limited especially on a busy weekend. The restaurant is not very large but it gives it a more cozy vibe. Junior was our server and he was awesome! We all enjoyed their food. My husband and I shared the steak fajitas. I really liked their guacamole. One of our friends ordered the sizzling enchilada with shrimp. I tried a bite of it and it was full of flavor. They have a brunch menu that's only until 2pm that I really want to come back and try. Lastly the star of the show. I ordered the La Princessa cocktail and wow. Now this drink impressed us all just with its presentation alone which we were all not expecting. Junior brought over my drink and asked if I was ready which I was not. I was expecting a regular cocktail. I had to record the magic because as soon as he lifted the cover there was smoke and then a beautiful drink appeared. Such a cool experience and the drink tested amazing too!!! Definitely recommend the drink and this restaurant! We are all for sure are coming back!!

Yelp
First time here and can't wait to come back. Chris was our server and he was attentive and provided excellent service. He deserves a raise LOL. There is indoor and outdoor seating, heads up, if you sit outside there are heaters! The restaurant is pretty small but I don't think reservations are accepted. I don't recommend large parties come during peak hours because of how limited seating is. It was so hard to choose...everything on the menu sounded so good. Lots of options but not an overwhelming amount to choose from. Only complaint, my ceviche was more like a shrimp cocktail, STILL delicious but not ceviche. Just a heads up, 20% gratuity will be added on parties of 8+ 10/10! I highly recommend eating here.

Yelp
Very nice Mexican food with very friendly and attentive service. The red chilaquiles were not spicy but reasonably tasty. The enmoladas enchiladas were great. The beans and horchata were both real standouts.

Yelp
Delicious food, the biggest plate I have ever received!! Great service and very cute decor. Great spacing so you don't feel too close to anyone else. But those plates, wow!

Yelp
July 2025 ~ This restaurant was awesome! From the moment we walked in to the moment we left. It's beautifully decorated, bright and comfortable. Our server was really nice. The food was delicious and more :) Everyone in our party (6) enjoyed their dishes. Most importantly hehe the drinks, chips & salsa were perfect :)
google avatar

Susan K.

Yelp
The chips and salsa were bomb!! Also I got the shredded crunchy tacos and they were good. I would say the taquitos were a bit too hard and dry for my toddler, but the nice waiter brought us out a chicken flauta and it was nice and crispy and still soft. I would come back to try more options! Loved the Christmas decor inside as well!
google avatar

Christopher V.

Yelp
The food was excellent, although the sauce on the enchiladas by itself tasted a little bland, but all together it was good.
google avatar

Lovelyn M.

Yelp
This was our first Mexican spot in Temecula and loved it. The chips were still warm and perfectly seasoned, and we asked for second serving of their fresh salsa because it was so good! The margaritas were. The rice and beans weren't as moist as I prefer but great nonetheless. The decorations were cheerful and unique, and the service was really friendly.
google avatar

Yelp
I took my family to this restaurant for fathers day. The decor is very Instagramable, e with beautiful murals on the wall and a giant tree in the center. My family thanked me for picking the restaurant, so everyone enjoyed it. They are known for their margaritas and have a bar.

Yelp
Went there on Friday evening, had a lovely experience) Friendly and welcoming staff . The food was amazing, I've ordered beef and fish tacos, it was delicious! Their interior is cute and beautiful! I've spent the great evening there)

Yelp
Came in around 6 was 30 minutes wait to be seated inside Small nicely decorated restaurant Service was not great Food was good

Yelp
Went on a Saturday afternoon, service was good and waiter was attentive. My friend had the enchiladas and she said they were delicious. I had the sizzling steak and shrimp fajitas with rice and beans. My rice and beans came out about 10 minutes before my fajitas, but the rice and beans were so good I didn't mind the wait, the fajitas were so good everything was delicious. I can't wait to eat there again very soon. A great find, thanks to yelp...

Yelp
This spot was awesome! I came here as a party of 10 for my sister's bachelorette party and Michelle was so so helpful and accommodating! She even printed special menus for us. The service was AMAZING and so fast, especially for a party of our side. The food was fantastic as well. The guacamole and enchiladas verdes were standouts. The space itself is very vibey. Highly recommend while you're in OT Temecula!

Yelp
Presently surprised with this Mexican restaurant. So far one of my top places to eat in Murrieta. The food is delicious and the service is fabulous. Our waitress was Bri S and she was fantastic, super sweet, attentive and knowledgeable! The decor inside is cool and I like the outdoor seating area too. We will be back to try more amazing dishes.

Yelp
First of all don't claim Queso Fundido when it's plane disgusting tasteless cheese with tiny sprinkles of crumbs of who knows what? It had no chorizo, onions, cilantro or jalapeño's like it should have. We also ordered beef and chicken tacos, chicken and beef were very dry with no flavor. The chicken enchiladas in chile verde, the chicken was also very dry and tasteless. Sadly the don't serve blended margaritas only margaritas on the rocks unless you order their flavor margaritas. Our waitress was a gem very pleasant and sweet. The ambiance Uhmmm I was totally confused, not sure what they are going for a little gothic mix with Mexico, didn't make any sense to us. It's a small restaurant. I don't think hubby and I will be going back or recommend this restaurant oh! and the menu very limited not much to pick from but food was very dry and tasteless
google avatar

Yelp
I'm giving this place 5 stars food was excellent Service was excellent And the ambience was excellent We sat outside being here on vacation from Scottsdale Arizona the weather is perfect Being from Arizona I think we have some of the best Mexican restaurants but I was pleasantly impressed with our food I got fish tacos my husband got chile verde chilaquiles perfection!!! The chile verde was so tender and flavorful no fatty chunks like some places trust me you all know what a fanatic I am about good food service and a clean restaurant this place was spotless and super friendly glad we came here

Yelp
Decided to try some place new today and my boyfriend and I were very pleasantly surprised and happy that we did. The food and the staff were both awesome! We had the California burrito wet with the green sauce and the fish tacos and they were both delicious. We will be back . Thanks for everything!

Yelp
This is our second time visiting Landeros Mexican Grill and it delivers such great portions, service and vibe! There is something for everyone from kids to adults. This time I tried their chile rellenos and the serving size was very filling! Their alcoholic drinks are also strong enough to get the party started.
google avatar

Yelp
Just moved to this area & our first dinner was here at Landeros . We sat at the bar , Bree helped us (she was amazing :) . We had the loaded fries & they were tasty! We will be back for another date nite sometime .

Yelp
Went on Mother's Day and had an amazing lunch. Server was kind, food was warm and the atmosphere was great! I got the carne asada plate- the carne wasn't that good, I'd probably order something else next time. But everything else was! My husband really enjoyed his cali burrito.
google avatar

Cathy B.

Yelp
Another great meal at Landeros! We had to wait a little while for a table, but it was worth it! Once we were seated, Bri took wonderful care of us. Chips and salsa were tasty and fresh! We enjoyed the colorful and inviting atmosphere--this is such a uniquely designed space, we love it! Everything tastes just the way you want it to! We left very full and very happy. We'll be back again!

Yelp
Saw on yelp and thought i'd try while in town. Parking was looking like it was about to be a nightmare however we quickly found street parking. We were sat almost immediately on a Saturday night which was definitely a plus. The atmosphere was so nice, polite staff, and very cute decor.

Yelp
Amazing food here! The best carnitas I have ever had and I have been in SD for over 20 years! This is a must try!

Yelp
Wanted to try someplace new and different. We met our friends here and were able to bring our dogs on their patio while we ate dinner. Staff was super friendly and turned on the warmers for us. Food was delicious, but the drinks were small. The restaurant is well decorated and has a stylish atmosphere.
google avatar

Yelp
Super cute place I had a bean and cheese burrito which is a pretty basic staple and it was delicious and my daughter had rolled tacos beans and rice. We felt the food was tasty and tried the margarita flight. Yum. I would definitely go back if I was in the area.

Yelp
Landeros is a nice Mexican restaurant, located just off Main Street in Old Town Temecula. It's located next to the Tea & Spice Shop The food is very good and they will wow you with their serving size. But given all the new trends in Mexican food... Sonoran, Oaxacan, Jalisco, Mexico City tortas/street food, etc, Landeros seems like an old style Yucatan throwback - which is not a bad thing. Sometimes you just want to go with some old favorites, as we did recently! Landeros is located in the old Renzoni italian place and has been open for about two years. We found the service to be very attentive and the serving size, as mentioned above, to be overly generous. See the photos of the food and Menu. Three and a Half Stars for the Mexican comfort food. Four Stars for the service and tasty Margaritas. Expect to pay $35 each, including gratuities and depending upon on how thirsty you are. LOL

Yelp
This is my first time trying this spot! It was a busy Sunday brunch, but this place got a sat right away. I ordered a aqua de Jamaica and it tasted very good I also had a Baja fish tacos that came with a side of fries which were loaded and tasted very fresh‍ their menu had a lot of yummy options. I had trouble deciding on which one to order. Definitely coming back to try more.

Yelp
We had dinner here and the food was very good! I ordered two tacos a La carte. The service was very good. We ordered guacamole which was very tasty. Good experience, we would go back.

Yelp
This place is legitimately excellent. Service is excellent, the food is excellent, and the ambiance is excellent. I've tried the enchiladas, sizzling fajitas, chile relleno, quesabirria tacos and all are excellent. My favorite is definitely the quesabirria tacos. Their agua frescas, margaritas, and chips/salsa are also excellent. In my opinion, this spot has the best Mexican food in the entire area.
google avatar

Jenna K.

Yelp
Amazing place to eat, we were wowed with everything! We ate on a weekday night around 5:30 and it was mostly empty, we could sit wherever we liked. Great service with friendly people, the chips were brought out immediately and the entrees we ordered were both amazing. I loved the mini chimis (huge portions) and the atmosphere. Would definitely recommend, it's a cute place with indoor and outdoor seating.

Yelp
I'll start by saying this review is a rounded-up 4 stars--but if we're being precise, it's a solid 3.5. We dropped by Landeros on a quiet Sunday afternoon for an early dinner. The lack of crowd meant we were seated right away (a win), and the interior is charming--especially the large tree in the center of the dining room. It's giving indoor courtyard vibes, and I was here for it. Our server, Chris, was fantastic--friendly and attentive from the jump. We kicked things off with a margarita flight and the obligatory chips and guac. As a firm believer that the chips and salsa make or break a Mexican restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised. The chips were warm, the salsa had decent flavor, and the guac was... fine. Not the kind of guac you write home about, but not the kind you leave behind either. We kept it classic with our orders: * Green enchiladas for my wife * Quesabirria tacos for my daughter * Mole enchiladas for yours truly The margarita flight came out first--spicy pineapple, tamarindo, strawberry, and peach. It sounded fun on paper, but the execution was underwhelming. The flavors didn't pop, and the tequila (or lack thereof?) didn't help. We didn't finish any of the four. They weren't bad enough to send back, but definitely not worth repeating. Just... meh. On the food side, service was quick (as expected given the slow pace), and portions were generous. The rice and beans? Excellent. Tasted like someone's abuela was in the back keeping the tradition alive. The enchiladas were well-stuffed with moist chicken, topped with a solid helping of sauce and, to my delight, pickled onions. That alone earned a mental fist bump. Taste-wise, everything fell into the same category: fine. Not bad, not exceptional--just... fine. The mole was the biggest letdown for me. I was hoping for something bold and rich, but it played it safe--like it had to pass a spice-free HOA inspection. A sprinkle of sesame seeds could've at least given it a little more character. I still ate it all, of course, but I've had (and made) better at home. The green enchiladas had a surprising tang, which my wife noticed too. We'd read a review calling them "spicy" but... respectfully, no. Not a hint of heat--just a citrus-forward sauce that confused more than it excited. As for the quesabirria tacos, they were tasty but didn't bring the depth I associate with birria. I wanted a punch of savory, a little richness from the consomé--but again, it leaned mild. Like the flavor version of a polite handshake. Final Verdict: Landeros is worth a visit, especially if you're after a clean, welcoming spot with kind staff and a cozy vibe. Just go in with the understanding that this might be Mexican food designed for a broader, possibly spice-averse audience. If you've grown up with bold, traditional flavors, you might find it a little too mellow. But hey--mellow isn't always bad. In summary: good food, great service, and a space that makes you want to linger. Just don't come looking for culinary fireworks.

Yelp
As always everything is outstanding! Junior was our server, I made a little mistake on my order and he gladly assisted with getting my order to my liking. Authentic flavors and the food is presented with an inviting flare, ready to dig right in. The staff is always friendly, welcoming. Pleasant environment, can be noisy with celebrations. We are usually coming from Lancaster or returning home but they are a planned stop one way or the other.
