Grant is the exceptional craft cocktail creator. I ordered the bee sneeze (I never drink gin so I cant really rate this drink) and my husband an Angels Envy Old Fashioned (real filthy cherry). What was the best kicker is I really wanted a mezcal drink and Grant catered to my taste and made the perfect drink ! I will be back , hopefully he is working!!! No batching here ! All from scratch cocktails!! 🙌

This place is a hidden gem. Step through the door and be amazed. Seriously fantastic food, great cocktails, awesome atmosphere. It’s your new hangout spot in Ybor, you just don’t know it yet. Had the salmon skewers, the venison skewers, the spicy tuna bowl, all of them just amazing.

Excellent drinks, food, staff (behind the bar and in the kitchen), and atmosphere. Strong spirits selection, especially tequila. Dulce Oro Reposado was fantastic neat and in a carajillo. All of the cocktails coming from the bartenders looked elite. A must visit when in Ybor City!

Really unique cocktails and drink options with a fun special cocktail/ small plate pairing menu. I had the France pairing - sidecar as a cocktail and croque madam small plate. Then had the rabbit whiskey skewer and cooper chicken with peanut sauce. Exceptional.

Very great top shelf cocktail options. Would definitely recommend stopping for a drink, as we will likely be back ourselves. We did not try any food this trip, maybe next time.

Beware of how this bar handles credit card charges. I ordered two drinks, left a $10 tip, and left. When I checked my statement later, I saw a flat $100 charge from this business. Even more concerning, the friend I was with—who also ordered two drinks—was charged the exact same $100 amount. We were not intoxicated and noticed this only after checking our statements. That raises a serious concern about how this could impact patrons who are drinking and less likely to catch billing discrepancies in the moment. Identical flat charges across multiple customers suggest a pattern, not an accident. There was no itemized receipt, no explanation, and no reasonable way two basic drink orders should result in identical $100 charges. This feels deceptive and predatory. If you choose to visit, take a picture of the credit card slip before you leave as proof, watch your card closely and review your statement immediately. I am disputing the charge and will not be returning. I habe a large business in the area with lots of vacationing people and clients. I will be making sure that they know not to go here. This is unacceptable. 2 drink and a 10.00 tip does not add up to a perfect $100.00.

What a beautiful experience. The ambiance was great and the service was even better. Had the burger and the tuna, a local beer, a glass of wine, a cocktail and a variety of Italian liquors as I hadn’t seen these anywhere else before. Can’t wait to go back and also try the location in St. Pete.

Stepping into The Copper Shaker is also a step back in time with a sumptuously designed interior. You know you’re in a great cocktail bar when theres a ladder behind the bar! The selection of spirits is top drawer and in every category there’s something for everyone, and at every price point. The cocktails are fantastic and take pride of place on a chalkboard on the back bar. I didn’t get to eat anything while there but everything coming out of the kitchen looked delicious.

The Copper Shaker is easily a 10/10 vibe all the way around. If you're looking for a bite to eat or a few drinks, this is absolutely the place to go. I was in Tampa for work and stumbled upon this spot, and from the moment I walked in, I felt genuinely welcomed by the staff. The energy was warm and relaxed, the kind of place where you instantly feel at ease. I enjoyed it so much that I came back twice in one day. For food, I ordered the Steak and Holly, which was packed with flavor. After I had finished the steak, I mentioned to my colleague how much juice and seasoning was still left at the bottom of the bowl. Unbeknownst to me, the bartender overheard and came out with a bowl of rice so I could finish it all. That small, thoughtful gesture really stood out. Special shout-out to the bartender, Jesus--he really made the experience. I also tried several specialty cocktails--many made on the spot based on the flavors and alcohol I requested. The bartenders were attentive, creative, and clearly passionate about what they do. Later that evening, I came back for the "Sunday School" experience, and the vibe completely delivered. The ambiance screamed lounge-meets-speakeasy, and the space felt welcoming and inclusive. Have you ever been blessed by stumbling upon a gem while traveling? Because that's exactly what this was. A true Ybor find, and a place I'll absolutely return to next time I'm in Tampa.

Best spot to get drinks in Ybor. If you can get a couch spot, it is also a great date spot. It can get loud in here, and I've been here lots of times when bachelorette parties, or wedding parties walk in. So the crowd can very greatly. The espresso martini here is standard and tastes exactly as it should. Here they call it a $16 The Grind. However, don't you dare sleep on the $17 Smokestack. The drink is legit and delicious. I've also had a $15 Old(er) Fashioned and it is also standard with the 1 giant clear ice cube. I take the trolley from downtown Tampa and get off in Ybor. This is also a good spot to travel from for your next destination.

Love this spot! The drinks are always delicious, staff is very welcoming and give great recommendations and can be great for a big group wanting to go out or just an intimate date night we always have a great time here!

Stopped by Cooper Shaker just for drinks, and they did not disappoint! I had an amazing espresso martini--smooth, bold, and perfectly balanced. We also grabbed some fries and a slider to snack on, and both hit the spot. Honestly, the ambiance is what stole the show. The space is dimly lit with cozy couches and great tunes playing at just the right volume--perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends without yelling over the music. We Ubered there! Just want to note it's located in Ybor, so parking can be a challenge, especially on busy weekends. Plan ahead if you're driving! Overall, a chill vibe, great drinks, and a cool spot to wind down.

This restaurant is beautifully decorated in Speakeasy fashion. The bartenders were friendly and made a good Negroni and Margarita. Hubby and I liked our smashburgers, but the REAL standouts were the Onion Rings. They were tempura-battered and seasoned to perfection. The onion didn't slide out of the batter after one bite like so many other onion rings. I will definitely return when I'm back in Ybor City.

Hands down the best Espresso Martini in Tampa. Whenever I have friends in town who love coffee cocktails, this is the first place I take them.

We met up here with friends for drinks on a Friday night. We got in at around 9:30pm and found everyone crowded around the bar as all of the tables were "reserved" via signage for those dining, although there were probably only 2-3 tables still having dinner. The bar itslef was very modern and sleek. We ordered two cocktails - The Bee Sneeze and Fall Forward. Both were very good and beautiful, but on the pricier side. It was challenging to find somewhere to enjoy the cocktails with no tables available for those only having drinks. Around 10:15ish, they did come around to clear the signage from the tables. Next time, we will come in later for a more comfortable experience.

Friendly and quick attentive bar staff when I was there on at prime time Friday night. Extensive list of craft cocktails $15-$17 They had a DJ playing mixed house, pop and classic rock hits that was very good, and didnt play too loud to where you could not hold a conversation with a group. A few couches creating a lounge vibe, in addition to the primary restaurant seating area. A great place for dinner cocktails or to start your night out in Ybor!

This is a tried and true nighttime hangout. The bartenders know what they're doing with the drinks and that's their saving grace. I rarely go anywhere for drinks without being interested in food and unfortunately their food is not very flavorful. So usually what I do is stop at a nearby eatery first and close the night at copper shaker. It can get pretty packed in there so on weekends and certain holidays don't wait til the last minute to go.

Copper Shaker in Ybor City is hands down one of my favorite spots for both food and drinks. It has a more grown-up, elevated vibe compared to a lot of the other places in the area, which makes it perfect for a night out when you still want energy and fun--but with great service and top-tier food. The menu changes seasonally, both for food and drinks, so there's always something new to try. That said, the truffle fries are a staple and always a must--they're perfectly crispy, loaded with flavor, and totally addictive. Even when it's packed, the staff handles it like pros--always friendly, fast, and on point. The ambience is great any night, but on evenings when they have live music, it's next level. If you're looking for a more refined Ybor experience without losing the charm, Copper Shaker is the move.

The ambiance was vibes as usual, and the food was great as always, but the service was garbage. Jesus was the only nice one and eh was a bar back. We went out to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday and normally bartenders give shots just because When we asked one of the bar tenders, he said I didn't know it was his birthday you didn't tell me. I said well we told one of the bartenders and they said happy birthday. He said well I didn't know, then he turned around and gave the people next to us shots. How rude! What happened to hospitality!? This was literally our second time here and now we're not coming back because of bad service.

Food was delicious I got the Alabama sliders and they were fried to perfect the sauce had me sweeping the plate for more. I didn't know what I wanted to drink and the bartender created the most delicious drink. The atmosphere was comfortable and the music was even better 10/10 experience I'll be bringing all my friends here this is my new favorite!

Really cool atmosphere and ambiance! It reminds me a lot of great Gatsby vibes! Went on a Friday around 6pm with 5 friends. There was a 1.5 hour wait for a table so I would reccomend booking a reservation if you want to sit! Or if you have a large group. They do have a very large indoor bar that we were able to find a couple of bar stools at! For the service, it was very busy and there were only 4 bartenders making drinks for the entire place. It did take over 20 minutes for us to finally get a drink. I think for weekends more staff is needed in order to be able to serve the amount of people the restaurant can hold. We ordered Aperol Spritz and a cheese board. Overall both were great! They have live music and a little dance area as well!

Last Saturday, my friends and I went to Copper Shaker, a gem and must-visit bar bar in Ybor City. Our server was very knowledgeable and suggested cocktails for all three of us as we had different tastes. Her recommendations were exceptional, and we all enjoyed our drinks. We had the charcuterie board, which I can't recommend enough. There was a caramelized onion cheese on the board that was extremely delicious. The Truffle fries were amazing as well. We only had appetizers and drinks, and we were pleased with everything. The DJ kept us moving with a great selection of songs. BTW, no worries about parking. Although there's a parking lot across the street, I conveniently parked at the garage on 5th St for 10 boxes. I can't wait to go back.

Really loved the experience here. The ambiance is absolutely phenomenal for a date. Dim lighting, modern sophisticated decor, great mood. Took a while to even be greeted. Had to walk up to the bar to ask about it. Once greeted and seated, the service was great. This night, the DJ was playing a delectable selection of 90s Hip-Hop and R&B. Great touch. The drink I had, the Old(er) Fashioned was excellent. I got the smoked version and it was worth it, I think. My date and I got a charcuterie board to share. Every ingredient on the hoard was phenomenal. Fresh, good quality ingredients. That spicy mustard? I need it by the gallon. Didn't take any photos, as I was on a date and didn't wanna be THAT guy (lol), but next time I go I'll definitely grab some shots.

Bar is a standing room if you are grabbing just drinks. You need to make reservations in advance to sit down as all the tables are reserved. The bartenders were nice, drinks were average in price. I got the rosemary and gin and it was delicious. The music was a bit too loud so it was more of a bar feeling than lounging.

Copper Shaker is such a vibe! Our Tampa book club meets here all the time to sip, snack, and chat about our latest read. The staff? Total gems--always ready with awesome food and drink recs! My forever fave: crispy Parmesan fries paired with a refreshing cucumber gimlet Come for the cocktails, stay for the convo!

GRILLED SEAFOOD ALL DAY!!! The scallops were the tables voted best dish followed closely by the croquettes (my white friend said it was too spicy but I thought it was kinda mayo-y) Service was awesome and def will come back on this trip :) Shout out the house espresso martini the grind, very good

Great bar! Great food! I visited Copper Shaker for double date night on a Saturday night. We made reservations well in advance. I recommend asking for a table away from the stage unless you don't want to hear your group. The drink menu is really good, exactly what you would expect from a jazz bar. The food menu is short but everything I've tried was excellent. Service is good but those reservations are going to be required. I definitely recommend a dinner date night out here. Ambiance!!

Stopped by here for light bites and a couple shots. Our food came out hot and fresh. The Copper Chicken was fairly good. More batter than chicken and the peanut sauce was a nice twist. The French Beignets were more like jelly filled donuts. It was still a nice sweet treat to have. Service was great. They had a dj who was playing a lot of throwbacks from the early 2000's. Would love to visit again and try their entrees. Seems like a nice vibe with a group of friends to throw back some drinks and eat good food.

Cocktail place Stopped in for a drink/snack on a Sunday afternoon. Bar and decor is fantastic, small place so I am sure it gets very busy. All the booze shakers are copper :-) The drink menu is interesting and unique, I stood along the whiskey-bourbon side and hubs took on the tequila. Not a bad drink to be had. Love the drink decor and mixologist. Tried the fondue/cheese platter- beer cheese fondue (amazing) and pimento cheese dip (sweetness and served cold, both of which was an undesirable cheese dip) pork cracklings, pretzel nuggets and other dippers. A great snack, albeit huge! Overall 5*

Back again and again it was amazing! From the wings to the Copper Chicken, street corn tostada to the kabobs, nothing disappointed. And that Broken Spanish cocktail....still the best drink ever! Visited on Saturday night with reservations for 10. We were seated immediately and immediately our server was attending to our requests. Server was fantastic(petite pregnant girl, sorry I can't remember her name). Entire staff seemed to care about our experience. Live music was a bit louder than last time so difficult to chat at times, but nice to have live music so no complaints. I still recommend this place as often as I can. I wish it wasn't in Ybor but it is so worth it!!!!!

This was an unexpected gem in the middle of Ybor City. To be honest, late night Ybor City isn't exactly my vibe, but we wandered into this place and I was pleasantly surprised at how perfect this place was! The cocktails were truly exceptional and watching them being made was a show in itself. Even though it was pretty crowded, we were able to get service at the bar quickly. Our bartender was very helpful and friendly. I very much enjoyed my time here and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who values an expertly made cocktail!

First time I have been to this establishment and I truly enjoyed it. I loved the low lighting and big leather couches, it just truly felt so cozy. The charcuterie boards and espresso martinis were my favorite! The service was good and pretty prompt! I can't wait to go back.

My friends and i went to copper shaker Drinks. I had the cousin named Jeff and a passion fruit sour. The cousin name Jeff was very ... unique and had a bell pepper taste wirh tequila . Definitely would order again. Now Laura the bartender ... please ask for her ... she was amazing and she made me a passion fruit sour. Had to ask for it twice . She asks the perfect questions to see what she can make for you. Highly recommend. I went on a Saturday night and there was a live band. Great date night or girls night place

We heard it from the corner. The smooth sound of jazz swing. As we entered the Copper it was a recapturing of a long a go era, a experience and atmosphere of the 1920s. This large and, glamorous place in historic downtown Ybor City is full of deluxe character and charm. Design details start from entrance to the bathrooms. If you're hungry they also offers assortment of fare. Embrace your inner flapper and join in on the fun with dancing and specialty drinks. This is where you can order a cocktail and party like it's 1924.

This place has been on my list for quite a while, and we finally decided to check it out as a group for a small holiday get together with friends. Making a reservation was easy for our group of eight and we were quickly seated upon arrival. The space is done very nicely, and I was impressed by the overall vibe and ambiance of the entire space. Our server was spot on the entire time we were here and had drinks always topped up for us. We ordered quite a few apps to share, and my favorites were the Mezcal Wings and Copper Chicken. Something went amiss with our orders, so it took quite a while to get our food. The staff comped us a round of drinks and a charcuterie board without being asked. If that isn't top notch service, I don't know what is. I ended up ordering the Chicken Tinga Tacos for my entree and I was not disappointed with those either. Our servers did a great job also explaining some upcoming events and the locker process that they have here, and it definitely made us all consider making an investment!

What a gorgeous addition to Ybor!!! A friend of mine and I were celebrating her birthday in Ybor and came across Copper Shaker. I was immediately drawn to this establishment, as it's an upscale bar/eatery and not your typical Ybor bar, with loud DJ or bad karaoke. The decor is warm and welcoming. The bartenders/servers are well dressed and very knowledgeable in their trade. I can't remember our bartenders name, (Brad, Ben, Brian ??), but he was SO kind, and creative! My friend wanted something sweet, but doesn't have much experience in drinking. She knows she likes Screwball, but that's about it. He created a delicious peanut butter and jelly tasting martini and named it after her: The Jules! It was just what she wanted. We already had dinner plans or would've had a snack. Our plan is to go back soon for the full experience.

One of my new favorite spots. The staff is knowledgeable and very friendly with regulars. It being on 7th you get some out-of-towners but a lot of local people as well. It's somewhat dark inside but not too dark. It's perfect for date night or with a group of friends. Cocktails were amazing but the two appetizers we got are one of the top reasons I'll be going back (besides for the vibes). The charcuterie comes in 4 sizes- the one pictured is the $25 (3/4 biggest) and the spread was incredible. Other app pictured is the burrata- it basically comes with a whole salad and garlic bread for the cheese. 12/10 for both of those menu items.

Great staff and bartenders. Came here randomly with friends and the music was great. The decor was really nice and speak easy-esque. There were plenty of places to sit and the bar spanned across the entire one side of the room. Def will be back.

Excellent drinks We were looking for a place that serves good drinks and my Google search lead me here. They did not disappoint, we enjoyed it so much we returned the following day. We love when bartenders take pride in the drinks they make. On the first night we both the Fall Forward, then I tried the the Old(er) Fashioned. He tried the Stolin Huffy which, they all were good but we both thought the Fall Forward was too sweet. The next evening I tried the Honey Hab, which was very good with a spicy kick. I also tried the Smokestack, this was the best old fashioned I e ever had. The fiancé had the Last Summer and the Spring Fling which were both very refreshing but he enjoyed the Spring Fling more. We enjoyed it and definitely will return.

I went to copper shaker for a friends birthday. We went with about 10 people. They were very accommodating with the larger group we were with. Our server Nina was super friendly and attentive. I ordered an espresso martini, a fondue platter and burger. Everything was pretty good. No real complaints. It was a tiny bit pricey. They also had live performers which was pretty cool.

Folks, the reviews didn't lie! Copper Shaker was beyond amazing! Such a cute place with a speakeasy feel! The walls are lined with bricks and booze. Our server had full knowledge of the menu and fit the part of the era with her dress. The tacos were so light and tasty! Filled with flavor! The tuna was fresh and just right. It is possible that some members of the table drank their au jous and beer cheese. It was that good! Definately will be back!!

I have been wanting to try Copper Shaker for a while now. I've always heard good things. I stopped in after work around 6pm on a Thursday and was able to get a seat at the bar. It's located on the main strip in Ybor and very convenient located just a block from the Centro Ybor garage. It was pouring outside but calm, sophisticated vibes inside. I made it in time for happy hour but the bartender talked me into a drink off the regular cocktail menu. She mentioned that they are known for their craft cocktails with all fresh ingredients. I chose the Fall Forward which has Woodford Reserve and peach nectar. I would describe it as a peachy old fashioned with a smoky touch. If you are ok with sweet and like the smoky flavor, you will like it. I also got the whiskey mushroom burger. It was pretty good and very reasonably priced. Next time I would try to make it out on one of their live jazz music nights.
