Hor’duvres, drinks and dinner in the Brooklyn Navy Yard on a rooftop farm overlooking all of NYC. Loved hearing directly from the farmers on a tour around the rooftop, followed by a four course meal. Truly an incredible date night, enjoying the sunset, and making new friends.

Flow on the Farm at Brooklyn Grange offers a beautiful sunset yoga experience on a stunning rooftop farm. While the views are incredible, getting there can be tricky—make sure to read the directions carefully. The all-levels class lacked a microphone/speaker, making it hard to hear the instructor, and you need to bring your own mat. Despite these challenges, the breathtaking setting made it all worthwhile.

I’d never even though about how amazing a rooftop garden wedding would be to photograph. I especially like that you have the vast NYC skyline to look at with the 360 degree views. The staff is really friendly and the location is super unique for any gathering. We loved working there on this elopement last month. ig @thewillinghamsphotography

It blows mind that some amazing human being created an amazing farm on a rooftop…and the talented souls who keep it up and running. The staff are so smart and friendly. The tour was so inspiring as I want to start growing my own veggies. A true gem in the heart of Brooklyn. A must see/do!

I photographed Anusha and Andrew's stunning wedding reception here. The views are absolutely breathtaking, and the high-up garden adds a unique and unforgettable touch to any celebration. It was truly a one-of-a-kind experience to document such a beautiful event in such an extraordinary setting! ig @konradbrattke

One and ahalf acre rooftop farm in the middle of Brooklyn Navy Yard! Hearing the tour guide talk about how this is done was fascinating. Rooftop farms not only provide much deeded green space but also help with water runoff in the city. This rooftop farm is the second largest in the world. The first largest Is another Brooklyn Grange somewhere else in Brooklyn!

We discovered the Brooklyn Grange when we moved to our neighborhood about 3 years ago. It's a total sleeper amenity for area. We participate in their summertime flower share, as well as their special dinners and events. My daughter loves to go for a visit and see the chickens, strawberries and flowers growing, and I love getting a breath of fresh air and being around all their lovely plants and the view! Don't miss the special dinners, they are something else and my husband and I will never forget the tomato dinner!!
