New Chef, Vince, is OUTSTANDING! ASK about the Friday/Saturday featured appetizer and entrees. Live musical entertainment is a plus! We ordered the two (2) pound bone-in RIBEYE last night and it was beyond AMAZING!!! Enough steak to feed a family of four. Servers and Bartenders are all FANTASTIC!

This place felt like being at a family dinner. The food was amazing and the staff so friendly. Even the customers were friendly and talked to people. I highly recommend Claire, she was one of the best servers I have had in awhile. She understood the dietary restrictions.

Wow, what can I say? This place is top notch! We got there right before happy hour ended and ordered the well drinks. I got a Manhattan and the wife got a Skinny Margarita. Both were very good despite using the bottom-shelf liquor. For starters, we had the crab cakes. Crispy, but not over-done. Soft, but not mushy on the inside. Very well flavored. For dinner, I got the fish and chips and wife got the seared salmon. Both tasted very good. My only criticism with the fish and chips was that it was served with a very small portion of the coleslaw. Almost like a dip portion instead of a side... Still, very good meal. For desert, we had a special (seasonal?) cheesecake. Wow! It was cheesecake with an orange/tangerine type marmalade on top. Sweet, subtle and NOT tart. Never had anything like that and it was incredible. Knocked off one star on the atmosphere only because it was pretty loud. It was "ok", but hard to have a conversation... At the same time, the music was live, so that was good. So, kinda depends was you're looking for. Regardless, I'd go back in heartbeat. Oh yeah, the service was great... we changed our appetizer order and the server was VERY accommodating. Also, she never pressured us to leave. Just let us take our time and enjoy the evening. Truely a wonderful place.

The food was delicious. My prime rib was very tender and pulled apart with the fork like it was liquid. The gorgonzola pasta side dish was very cheesy and tasty. My husband got the fillet, it was very tasty and good quality, and it was cooked to perfection We shared the tiramisu for dessert and that was very rich and obviously home-made- it was lovely.

Google
The food was OK. The short rib needed salt and pepper desperately. The bolognese left something to be desired. Carpaccio was good but not for the price. The carrot cake was worth the money and we would recommend it. The service was golden.

Google
Sunday afternoon early dinner, first time here and wasn't expecting a sports bar. Don't get me wrong, I love a good sports bar but we were looking for a nice dinner with friends. We got a Hightower table easy enough, but it was very loud with all the football crowd. Brie appitizer was good but not great - the bread was burnt and that burnt flavor came through. My wife like the braised rib with Brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes, but not for $30 in a bar. My "signature " burger (plus I added jalapenos for a $1) was very mediocre - and it had a total of 3 jalapeño slices! Fish ad chips looked good, but had ALOT of breading. Service was really good, but not good enough to make up for not great food and not enjoyable atmosphere. We won't be going back.

Google
I've been there Thursday night, and we found place outdoors, and luckily the weather was decent. Service was great, and food was also delicious. Drinks names catch the eyes!! Loved the names and, for sure, the taste!! They were super nice and kept on checking frequently if we needed anything and filling our waters before even requested, which is great. I would definitely recommend the appetizers and desserts!! Loved tiramisu and creme brulee, very delicious. Will visit again for sure!

Google
Was looking for a place to have dinner and cocktails and I am so glad that we ended up here. Started off with a couple of old fashions and some appetizers to share, followed by dinner wrapped up the evening with an espresso old-fashioned. It was a pretty solid night. The service was excellent as was the food, cocktails and conversation looking forward to many future visits.

Yelp
St. Amand's in Chandler was such a great find. From the moment we sat down, the service was excellent. Our server was absolutely lovely and everything came out very quickly, both drinks and food. The ambience is modern and lively, perfect for a date night or a fun night out. We sat at a high top which was not the most comfortable, but still nice overall. I loved the St. Amand's inscription carved into the table. It was a small but thoughtful detail. The food was fantastic and portions were very generous. The shishito peppers were a fun and unique appetizer, but the calamari completely stole the show. Crispy, flavorful, and easily the highlight of the meal. Great service, great food, and a great overall experience. I would definitely recommend St. Amand's and will be back.

Yelp
We had some friends coming through town and decided to go to happy hour. We have been here a couple times before, but it's been a minute. The wait staff was great, which is why I gave 3 stars. There were four of us. We each ordered drinks and food. My drink was perfect, but kinda hard to mess up an old fashioned. Another ordered a beer, so.... Then comes the other two. My husband remembers that this place had made the best penicillin in town and ordered that. If a bartender has to look up a drink they should a) let you know and b) just don't! It was yellow like lemonade and back it went. The last person ordered a tequila drink and there was no way tequila touched it, solid pineapple juice. I asked if the bartender was new, thinking honest mistake but she had been there a while. Food came. Meatballs were good, flatbread was good but lacking, sliders ok, but the short rib tacos had zero flavor and were super stringy. Short ribs are nothing but decadent flavor so I am not sure what happened there. It was busy so obviously it's a great place. Hopefully this is a one off experience but not sure I'm willing to try again! Sorry I didn't take photos, but I was enjoying the company and didn't want my phone distracting us.

Yelp
Absolutely loved this little place, had a nice afternoon with my boyfriend, enjoyed some mocktails, the food was really good, and the place is super cute, I had the chicken and my boyfriend had the chicken sliders. Service top notch also. I loved how they have TVs all around bar so perfect for games and enjoy a cold beer, you can tell it's a local neighborhood place, lot of couples. Will be coming back

Yelp
I can't say enough good things about this place. My husband and I have been coming every Friday and Saturday for their specials that they post on their Instagram and every single dish we have tried has been phenomenal. The food is delicious and the staff is amazing!

Yelp
I had a meeting this past Saturday and I thought I would swing by here and grab a quick appetizer and drink before I headed out to a gala later that evening. I ordered a glass of wine and sat at the bar. The wine was fine, but the fried chicken sliders were a bit bland this time? I had to put quite a bit of hot sauce on them to give them some flavor! Ugh! I was terribly disappointed because they didn't taste as good as before! Consistency is important when it comes to a good quality restaurant, so you can image how disappointed I felt. Anyway, I'll go back because I've enjoyed some of their other dishes, ie the scallops, but I'm done with those sliders!

Yelp
Incredible service and food at St. Amand's! The burger and the filet mignon were particularly excellent! During our short wait to be seated, the bartender here was amazingly kind letting me sample a few wines before I picked a couple glasses for our group. After we got seated, the service training of this place shone through as we were treated so well, every need attended to, and never a moment where we needed to look for somebody to help us out. We had such a wonderful time and can't wait to return!

Yelp
This is one of my absolute favorite restaurants in Chandler! I have been working my way through the menu and every dish is a hit every single time. This trip I chose the first thing I had tried there the French Dip. This sandwich is juicy and the Au Jus has so much flavor. My boyfriend got the pork chop served on a sweet potato hash and it was absolutely divine! We were with friends that had never been and they got the tried and true Lasagna and Chicken Parm.. smiles all around! We did also get some deviled eggs (so good) and the calamari (winner). It wouldn't be a trip there without getting my favorite drink.. an Espresso Martini! Staff wonderful! Awesome live music also! Love this place sooo much!

Deborah W.

Yelp
My partner and I have ate/drank here over 100+ times across 8+ years and have experienced nothing but excellent service and food. Grant and his staff are the best.

Yelp
We were feeling adventurous yet, wanting to stay local. We searched on yelp and this place popped up. We were excited to try! We were sure what to expect, but we liked the ambiance. It's interesting because it seems like you could potentially have four different types of experience in such a small space. For real! You have your bar area with the game on, then there's an outdoor patio, there's a private room down the hall, and then the main dining where I sat. The staff were friendly, services was quick and the manager checked in on us. That's awesome! We loved the bruschetta. I tried the braised short rib, which was very tender! We also got some cocktails and a white gummy bear shot. It was great and we'd come back to try other things on the menu for sure. seems like there's something for everyone here!

Yelp
I consider this place my neighborhood "Cheers". The food and service has ALWAYS been excellent!!!

Yelp
Had dinner at St. Amand's last night. Very busy, popular place. Had the prime rib special, which was excellent. Not only was it delicious, but portions were generous, especially for the price and was beautifully presented with potato of your choice, grilled asparagus, au jus and three different sauces. Rylie, our server was great, with helpful advice and attentiveness. Food took a little time to arrive, but when it came we could understand that all the details were in place. Well worth the wait. This is a popular place, a little noisy, but still, a wonderful meal and an enjoyable experience.

Yelp
The food was delicious and the service was great. We sat on the outdoor patio which was cute & cozy. They had live music which is always a nice experience. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
I went to St. Amand Kitchen for a birthday dinner and it was phenomenal. Our waitress was able to answer every question we had and was attentive to our table. I ordered scallops and they were divine. We were given a free slice of carrot cake for the birthday girl. It was something else. Such a good dinner spot!

Yelp
Happy hour at St. Amanda Kitchen & Cocktails. First time here. Happy place and very good service. Had the fried chicken sliders and a Corona Zero. Food was good, the Corona was cold. Lots of people watching the Stanley Cup playoffs. Located next to the Holiday Inn. All good here! Lauren was an excellent server.

Yelp
AMAZINGLY fresh menu even the lasagna was uplifting if you can believe it. We really enjoyed our dinner beyond anticipation. You can always find a nice place to eat when you search sea bass We had seared scallops Deviled eggs Lasagna Mashed potato Shallot mashed potatoes Margarita And a lemonata (lemonade and soda) Loved every bite!!!

Yelp
On point as always! We always enjoy our trips here with friendly service, tasty drinks and great food!

Yelp
Our second try--the first time we weren't too happy, but this time other in our party wanted to come, so we tried again. This was much better. We had a group of seven with a reservation. We were seated promptly away from the noisy bar so we could visit; and, had really good food and excellent service. We will return!

Yelp
This place has great, inventive dishes and wonderful service. The one star off is for the noise- it's a bit too loud for a romantic date but would be fun with a group. The food is so, so good and shows real technique and talent for flavor profiles. I had the miso Chilean sea bass and the risotto knocked my socks off! The bass was lovely but the layers of flavor they built into the risotto was spectacular. Hubby and I shared a Caesar salad- little heavy on garlic and would have benefited with a hit of lemon but was good overall. Homemade croutons are the bomb! Hubby had braised short rib and it was decadent, tender, delicious, all the fall flavors came together on his plate. Cocktails strong and tasty! Our server was a total sweetheart. We will be back with others!!

Kris B.

Yelp
Whether you're talking about the food, drinks, or the staff, the answer will be the same. They are all amazing. I've been here probably about a half dozen times now I've sampled many meals and drinks, but my favorite is the scallops on risotto with a vodka martini with blue cheese stuffed olives. The restaurant has both the casual feel, but also on the higher end style. You could dress up nice for a great date night out, or show up casual and you'll be equally welcomed there.

Yelp
I live in the area and come here often because it's close to home & the perfect spot to grab a bite to eat and connect. The servers will remember you & the bartenders are amazing with the cocktails. The sweet walker cocktail is incredible for those who liked a sweet cocktail! The Ceasar is TOP TIER. The beef carpaccio will not disappoint. & lastly, the bread pudding is delicious. Do not overlook this gem. Management is super friendly and kind, I think the owner is Italian. Enjoy!

Yelp
The food was delicious and the service was good. Went for appetizers and desert. Want to try again for dinner. Their menu looked to have many interesting dishes. Place was very busy.

Yelp
Went to dinner for our 24th anniversary last night. Happy hour from 3-6pm. The service was great, the staff friendly and helpful. It wasn't very crowded. They have a very extensive wine and cocktail menu. The cocktails were very good and dinner was fabulous. We mentioned our special day, and we ordered the bread pudding and weren't charged (one of the best we ever had). Truly a great dining experience. We will be back hopefully before our 25th anniversary.

Yelp
Visiting from out of town. Had the half roasted chicken and it was amazing, so delicious! Service was impeccable and loved being able to sit outside to eat my elegant meal. No bar food for this girl! Classy!

Yelp
St. Amand kitchen is always delicious! My father in law had the lasagna which is his absolute favorite! I had the prime rib (I highly recommend it, it was delicious)! We ended with carrot cake which is always good. Keely our waitress was excellent as always and Carlo is always so kind. We love this restaurant and come often.

Yelp
I really dislike leaving negative reviews because food and service can be subjective, but this was one of the worst dining experiences I can remember and hopefully I can help someone else avoid the mistake of eating at St Amand Kitchen. The ole confusion with who our server was so that was a bad start. Hey, it happens and some great food would have made us forget we were ignored. Unfortunately the food was just atrocious. Starting by asking if the Crab Cakes were 50% breading and the waitress said they are heavily breaded but a very popular item. We probably should have left then. We went with the Fried Calamari instead that was in little strips, something I have never experienced but very bland and tasteless. They tasted like little strips of Tofu. We both ordered the St Amand salad and with blackened chicken that was under seasoned and had gotten lukewarm sitting and waiting 30 minutes for it to arrive at our table. My friend ordered grilled chicken instead of blackened but they brought him the under seasoned blackened. We had waited almost 30 minutes so he didn't wanna send it back. The "white balsamic vinaigrette" was a thick nasty gloop that seemed like it came out of a bottle and I ate my salad without dressing. The worst was the Brussel Sprouts that were in some kind of gravy with an unpleasant taste and like everything else under seasoned with that heavy sauce that was inedible. It was the last night of my friend's visit and after some amazing restaurants in Scottsdale he found St Amand's on Yelp and with so many 5 star reviews he thought we should take a chance, a decision we both very much regretted.

Yelp
Just had a fabulous brunch at St Amand Kichen. Classy restaurant with excellent food and a super cool bar. Breakfast was amazing, and the drinks are great. The staff is super friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Ok highly recommend... Patio is incredible. Great food, great drinks and great service. Totally impressed with the wait staff, especially Jackie she is an amazing worker!
google avatar

Meredith B.

Yelp
The ambiance is great and we especially love the outdoor bar seating! It definitely has a vibe and is usually busy on weekends which is great. The staff is always super friendly and often there is some chill live music too. I enjoyed the seafood and steak here, however fell that the appetizer list is lacking quite a bit. That's the only reason for 4 stars.
google avatar

Black Wolf R.

Yelp
Great tasty food they were nice enough to split the meal for us! Music playing during our meal was frosting on the cake ! Great friendly service was on point. Great bartender Jessica made great drinks! Ambiance is very nice with a mature well heeled crowd. Great place with a great vibe.

Betty W.

Yelp
My first visit. One of the best dinners I've had in a very long time. Filet Mignon with cauliflower purée was superb! Request seating in The Vault; the noise in the regular seating area is very loud, as this place must be very popular. Definitely worth another visit.
google avatar

David R.

Yelp
Great food, service and drinks. Indoor and outdoor dining so you can enjoy all seasons. The staff are the best!! Locally owned, support local!

Z Z.

Yelp
Don't come here if you are wanting to socialize with the people at your table, the music is way to loud, nowhere for the sound to travel, since they play inside, and they will not turn down the volume. Very frustrating indeed, will be dining elsewhere in the meantime. If you are okay with yelling over your table to your guests, then this is the place for you. The place was amazing when it was Divine, now it has become greedy and poorly run. The prices are through the roof for smaller portions! We have found a new favorite place to spend our time and money! The brussel sprouts are disgusting, the gravy is that of canned turkey gravy on chicken dishes, that are supposed to be Italian dishes!
google avatar

Jennifer G.

Yelp
Ugh. New to the area. Was hoping to find a great place with cocktails and food. This was not it. Food was horrible. French dip was bland, mushy and grey in color and auju was missing from the french dip. The french fries that accompanied the dip, was edible and had a nice crunch. Almost for got the meatballs. An hour later and we still taste the salt from a sample of it. At the end of the dag, inedible and loaded with oregano. Chicken parmesean, overseaoned, noodles overcooked with and overseaoned. Nothing worse then spending over $75 in food, and your left with a salty palette and a grumbling belly.

Yelp
I WAS a loyal customer (Bartenders called me Texas). Matt, the manager, won't allow my 10 pound 2 year old shih tzu. ***It's a dog friendly place. *** Just not for MY dog...? Not only have I been going there a minimum of 3 times a week WITH my dog, i sit far away from others on the patio to avoid any rare occurrences of barking from my dog. unfortunately, a man who lost his voice and had to use a battery operated machine that produces sound for you to create a voice, spooked my dog. I've also tried 3 separate times to book the private room for a business meeting for the company I work for. Paul loves to talk in person but never gets back to us for booking our private events. Im no longer wasting my time trying to work with this staff. Not spending a dime at your establishment again. Bye.
google avatar

Bj K.

Yelp
The patio was empty at 430 and our group of 4 asked to be seated outside. The owner said not without reservations. We sat inside for 2 hours and 7 + tables stayed unoccupied. How very, very unprofessional and poor call on management... not sure I'll return. Very weird and disappointing vibe.
google avatar

Linda W.

Yelp
My husband had the scallops & he thought they were good! I however had a very bland salmon piccata! Actually I've never had such a dreadful piccata! Pasta was so bland as if squeezing a few drops of lemon juice makes it piccata! Salmon was ho hum Couldn't even cut the Brussel sprouts Very disappointed The staff was amazing & so gracious I'm sorry I couldn't give a rave review
google avatar

Krissy H.

Yelp
I was super excited as this place was cute with a Great atmosphere, I was pleasantly surprised to see that they had chicken piccata on the menu and I ordered it, sadly, I have to say it wasn't very good. Chicken was super dry a little blah add brussels sprouts were like mush and pretty salty and I like salt. unfortunately one of the worst chicken piccata I've ever had so disappointed that I found a new great place. I do have to say the drinks were great. Service was friendly.

Yelp
Had dinner last night with Mom and her husband. The service was outstanding, and was a nice night for sitting outside. I had the best braised short rib with veggies, that I've ever had. They split the seared ahi tuna and a shrimp cocktail. Their food was amazing.
google avatar

Sahni K.

Yelp
I've only brunched here so far. Great cocktails, food and atmosphere! The service was excellent and to top it off this place has a very friendly cheerful vibe!

Yelp
We tried this place as one of our low key Chandler bar hopping experience. Since we only wanted a quick drink, we sat on the patio. It was an early afternoon so not a lot of people were at the restaurant. Although the cocktail menu looked interesting, the drinks were a bit disappointing. The glasses were not clean or properly chilled. The taste of the drinks was a bit off. Although this place had "cocktails" in its name, the cocktails did not seem to be a strong suit based on our experience that day. I hope this was just a one-time experience because this place did seem fun to come with a group of friends and just have a chill dining experience.

Yelp
We were going to St. Amand for Mother's Day brunch. I had heard a few things about the place and my mother-in-law decided on that for Mother's Day. She made the reservation, via Open Table about a month before. We showed up on time, there was no parking in the lot so because it was on a Sunday, we parked in the parking lot next-door, which I believe is a dentist's office. Upon arrival, my mother-in-law was already seated, and we had a cute, high top over in the corner, inside. They have an adorable outdoor seating area that is half inside half outside. They have a dining room in the back, as well as the seating in the middle which we were in. Our server was very attentive. Came up to us right away and took our orders. Good thing we put our order in right away because we waited over an hour for our food. My mother-in-law ordered the southwestern scramble, my husband ordered the biscuits and gravy, my son and I were going to split the loaded, avocado toast, and we also wanted the yogurt parfait. Our server came back to us and said they were out of yogurt and recommended just getting the fruit plate. We did that, and it was nice of them to have removed that from the bill since the yogurt parfait wasn't available. To wait over an hour for breakfast, I was expecting the breakfast to be really good. I was taking a peek at all of the food served around us. Portions are rather small. Food is pretty basic. For the avocado toast, it said that there would be bacon, there were tiny little pieces that were almost microscopic in there. Scrambled eggs were mediocre. My husband could barely eat his because it was so salty. My mother-in-law's said it was supposed to have potatoes and cheese, and there was only one tiny potato and no cheese. There was barely any recognition of Mother's Day. Our server, and one other gentleman said "Happy Mother's Day" to us. I always like it when restaurants kind of make a big deal of it. They had live music there, which was fun. Very talented gentleman playing some good music. My son asked for Lightening McQueen aka the Cars movie be played of the TV, very assertive of him but that did not end up happening. Kudos to the gentleman who really tried to make that happen for my son, though! Prices are affordable to high. It looks like it's fine, dining, but the food doesn't measure up. Maybe a dinner experience might be different. My husband said that the environment is fine and if he was just going to have a beer and watch golf or something he would love it, but for this particular celebration, fell short of our expectations.
google avatar

Yelp
Fancy avocado toast is the best! Add $14 bottomless mimosas, and it is even better! They have 3 types of avo toast. The Classic Avo Toast is topped with tomatoes, feta cheese, and olive oil. The Smoked Salmon Avo Toast has cured smoked salmon, hard boiled eggs, capers, red onions, tomatoes, chives, and olive oil. I'm a sucker for salmon anything, but especially on avocado toast. This was a huge hit for me!

Yelp
My sister-in-law's car broke down next to this place the other day and two very kind employees noticed and came out to help push her car into the parking lot. We were very grateful for their help so decided to come give St. Amand's a try tonight and it was amazing. I had the sesame crusted ahi. Between the toasty sesame seeds, savory butter wasabi, and the texture of the risotto, it was the perfect bite. My husband had the chicken Parmesan and loved it. My lavender haze drink was great and my husband's drink was so refreshing and delicious. I don't remember the name but it had watermelon and cucumber vodka. We finished off with the tiramisu which was possibly the best I've had. It tasted like it was freshly made- the cake layer was perfectly moist and the whipped layer was so thick and creamy. I'm excited to come back and check out more of the menu.

Yelp
Our "go to" in the neighborhood is the Chilean Sea Bass. Highly recommend. Cocktails are reasonably priced and the service is excellent. Live music is a + We need to try the Sunday brunch menu next!

Yelp
Love the food, wine, service and atmosphere. They have good specials. Is a little loud during rush-hour, but otherwise excellent.

Yelp
This is a delightful place for an after church meeting and meal. The food is varied and prepared sooooo very well. The staff is also right on top of things and delightful to work with.

Yelp
No changing table in either women's or men's restroom. Otherwise nice ambiance and $$$ Service is ok and considering the price, disappointed. It is nice and all, very romantic place.
