We stopped at Lenny’s Diner before heading out of town and wow — what a great find! From the moment we walked in, it felt like we were in a movie. The classic diner vibe is warm, nostalgic, and welcoming. The service was fantastic — our waiter was incredibly patient, attentive, and helpful, which made the experience even better. And the food? Absolutely delicious — fresh, comforting, and exactly what you want from a great diner stop. I highly recommend this spot to anyone in the area looking for great food, amazing service, and a memorable atmosphere. We’ll definitely be stopping again! 🍽️✨

Food was really good, and the portions were generous—you definitely won’t go home hungry. It was our first time here and an unexpected treat. Diego was our server and was extremely helpful, especially with our new venture. We’ll definitely be back. The world needs more places like this. When I say “family feel,” I mean it—sitting by the front door, it was clear the employees knew just about everyone who walked in by name.

I've been to this area four different times in florida. Always pass by but never stopped. Some of the best breakfast food I've ever had. And it is true, they have some of the best home fries I've ever eaten. They are famous for their home fries. I would come every morning for breakfast if I lived here. Have not had a chance to try lunches so I won't speak of them. But if you want a good breakfast at a decent price for the amount of food that you get Lenny's is the place to be. The staff are friendly as can be. And they have another novelty that You Don't see very often. Male waiters! There is absolutely nothing I did not like eating at Lenny's today. I invite each and every one of you to come to Lenny's in Clearwater Florida for the best breakfast you'll ever buy.

Jenny was our server, and I got the BLT Benedict and we tried the duck bacon and we got two of the danish baskets- literally everything was phenomenal. I can’t count how many times we have eaten somewhere and thought we could make it better at home. This was NOT one of those times. The food was absolutely delicious, and I will be coming back and getting the BLT Benedict again! It had poached eggs on top of a hashbrown like potato pancake with home made sauce. The danishes were also phenomenal- my favorite was a creamy puff pastry and the coffee cake pastry. The duck bacon was also very good, it wasn’t tough or anything- it was easy to eat and had an amazing flavor that’s hard to really explain. Even the fruit tasted like it was fresh from the garden- So sweet and fresh! Absolutely a must stop on your breakfast tour! A big thank you to Jenny for being so helpful in helping me decide what to order and bring so patient and kind! I can’t wait to come back and try the lunch! 😄

Amazing find, we were looking for a breakfast on a Thanksgiving morning and we were not having a lot of hope... And we find Lenny's. First of all, we had no idea about it's legacy - we were just happy to have found a place that open today. We were in for an awesome experience, this place has some history, celebrities dine here... Ambience is so retro, legacy written every step of the way. 👍👌 Food is just outstanding, I would have likedba little bit of salt in my omelet but it's better to be short than over! Taste and quality was outstanding, freshness in every bite. Falicia was outstanding, very sweet, super friendly staff all cross the restaurant. This place is a must go place if/when you are in Clearwater. You won't go wrong with Lenny's. Ohh, the complementary Danish basket of baked stuff is a must have... 😘😋👌

I’ve been coming here with my family since the 90s when I was a child. Nostalgic memories of the danish baskets and balloon creations that I now get to share with my own daughter. It is a staple, it hasn’t changed and thank god because why change what’s perfect? The food and service is excellent. I love the New York Jewish deli options- Don’t sleep on their Reuben’s, latkes, “table relishes” (slaw/cucumber dill salad/macaroni salad/etc). You cant beat a whole Mimosa carafe for 8$ to top it all off. The owners are wonderful, the vibe and everything about it makes it one of my favorite spots to eat on a Sunday. If you sit at the bar, make sure you say hi to Lorraine and Michelle that work the counter. On our brunch trip today which provoked me to finally write this well deserved review, Diego served us and he was a joy. Love you, Lenny’s 🫶🏻

Diego was awesome just like the danish basket. The latkes are insane. So glad I was in area visiting a local who took us here. Lenny’s is awesome. I just wish I could have eaten even more of the things. They have all kinds of eggs Benny, hot and cold sandwiches, all the bagels If you have thought about eating it Lenny’s has it and I promise you it’s delicious! Our order was out in no time and still hot when it was placed in front of us. Make sure you try a cheese blintze. Thank you Diego for the wonderful service!

This place is excellent. It's basically a northeast Diner, but better than anything I've had and I'm from NY. The potatoes were no joke the best I've ever had. Make sure to get them with onions. My meal came with pastries and they were spectacular too. I can't forget about my waitress who was spot on with the service. I'll be coming back on my next trip.

SOLID 5 STARS All-Star Yelp Elite Dave W chose Lenny's for our outing this week. Lenny's is not just a restaurant, it is an experience. Everywhere you look there is something interesting to see. From the numerous signs on the walls and ceiling, to the decorated windows, I guarantee you will not be bored. Great atmosphere means nothing without good food. I rate all diner type establishments by their hash browns and bacon. Lenny's serves home fries, which qualifies. The potatoes are nicely browned and have NO grease. The bacon is perfect. Crunchy without being chewy, and NO grease. I ordered the Portobello Benedict ($14.99) and a side of bacon ($4.99). My breakfast came with a complimentary basket of danish pastry. Dave W tells me the pastry is a Lenny's trademark tradition. The portobello was fantastic! Lots of mushrooms with a tasty hollandaise sauce. Total bill of $25 (including generous tip for our waitress Tara). I'll be back with friends! Good choice Dave W!

After living here for many years, I finally went to Lenny's after so many great reviews. It was amazing! Now I understand why many love it. Great service, great food, and the prices are reasonable. I ordered the BLT Benedict. It was delicious! My mother went with me and she ordered the same things. She loved it, too! It's a cool diner experience with sit down service. We will definitely go back! Oh! And the Danishes were also wonderful!!!

Cutest little diner! Lots of options for breakfast and lunch, as well as lunch specials. The danish basket was nice touch, but some of the danishes were a little stale. The baby got a Mickey Mouse pancake but just didn't taste right and barely touched it. The meatloaf was great and juicy. The matzo ball soup was so delicious! I'd get the big bowl next time. A little disappointed that the grilled cheese came with their Kraft singles slices rather than actual cheese but now I know. Good size menu so lots of things to try and like, I'm sure.

This Vintage Diner is truly an amazing experience. Just like old times when America was run by local people and everyone supported their local businesses. ( No corporate robots and rude anti social servers) the food is amazing. Omg the home fries the real southern grits, French toast European style. Lots of choices and the owners family are like instant family. Ask for Diego the best server and tons of laughs. Welcome to this place. We hit the lottery finding it. We were visiting my folks in St. Petersburg, looking for a good diner, and did Lenny's restaurant ever hit it out of the park! First off the coffee is amazing, second the restaurant is a beautiful eclectic celebration of quirkiness, our waitress knew the menu inside and out was quick on the refills, and overall just spectacular! Let's go to the food, look at the pictures we all had a different version of the hearty breakfast. My son had pancakes and an omelette, I had the country fried steak, breakfast potatoes with onions, and eggs over easy. I love a good country fried steak with sausage gravy and this was one of the best I've had! Sorry, no pictures but my wife had eggs, bacon and hashbrowns and so did my daughter. They both love them. The danish basket is amazing! What a wonderful and amazing treat to have dropped off before your food arrives. There were so many good things on the menu. We can't wait for the next trip to try even more!

Lenny's is an institution. Darn Good Diner food, great value, and exceptional service. Your coffee cup will be topped off regularly. You will be hard pressed to find it empty even on the busiest days. Few vegetarian options and fewer vegan options but they can and will accommodate. Trust your server and they will lead you to a successful meal. Even the pickiest eaters will be able to be satisfied. We were hungry therefore no food pix but you probably know what scrambled eggs and pancakes look like.

My Wife, Son, and myself discovered this little Gem after; living here for almost two years and we try to make sure we come here for Brunch every Saturday. The food is great! Service is friendly and fast. I love going to non-chain restaurants and this one goes TOP on my list for brunch! I had a Meat Lovers Omelette that comes with (4) Silver Dollar Pancakes an every breakfast meal comes with a complimentary Pastry Basket.I like to sleep in on Saturdays but, I do want to try their lunch. The food coming out that kitchen for lunch looked really good.

Our waiter, Loraine, was super sweet, patient and kind. It was my first time here. I was craving steak and eggs, but sadly, they do not have it. I instead special ordered an omelette with spinach, avocado, feta cheese and red onion. Yummy!! The vibe in here is upbeat and cheery! This is definitely a local spot that you must check out. Way better than Bob Evans or Speggtacular.

This place was so fun!! This is our first trip here, we all ordered something different, spaghetti, French toast and corned beef hash. It was all delicious and amazing! Our server, Scott, was super helpful and efficient. The restaurant is really casual, lots of cute decorations and really cute shirts you can purchase, which we did!! We will definitely be back!!

Whenever I am in the Clearwater area, I have breakfast at Lenny's. They have signs that say best breakfast and they back it up. Love their eggs, fresh bagels, homemade potatoes, and tasty bacon. Also love getting their pastry basket at beginning of meal. If you love good breakfast, you need to try this place. Also, interior has lots of fun signs on ceiling. Fun, tasty breakfast place.

Great Food and Excellent Service. Worth the over-one-hour drive. Very varied menu with many choices both for breakfast and lunch. Best deli in the greater Tampa area as far as I am concerned. Even the free appetizers and basket of baked goods is worth coming for and are a very nice touch.

I've been to Lenny's a few times through the years. They always are very friendly and have great service! Today, Chloe was my server and did an absolutely excellent job with everything!! The inside of the restaurant is interesting to look at with all the decor from floor to ceiling. They gave complimentary pastries in a little basket which was special. Food came out hot and looked great!! Flavor was very good as well!! I had the "Dan's Famous Gator Omelette with grits & home-fried potatoes. The hollandaise sauce was a nice addition to my omelette as well!! Definitely recommend dining here, as it's one of Pinellas County's long established restaurants popular with locals and tourists alike!!!

Very good breakfast and consistent too. Service can be fair to poor, especially with respect to getting your coffee refilled. Clean inside and lots of comfy booths. A Clearwater legacy restaurant for sure: oldie but goodie!

Second time here this week but today our server was rude and didn't seem to want to take our order. Asked for extra crispy bacon and it came out under cooked. She then took bacon and had them throw it in deep fryer. I didn't ask for deep fried food. Didn't end up eating after horrible experience. Try another restaurant and save your time.

WAAY OVER PRICED. $19 for biscuits and gravy, coffee and bacon. Need I say more crazy what people are charging now for nothing. The crappy trucker coffee was $3.09 and it tasted like crap. Save your money and go make your own breakfast. Lesson learned even little greasy spoon breakfast places are ripping you off now.

Came here for breakfast with my wife about one and a half hours before picking up our son from school. Hoping for a quick breakfast. Took about 40 minutes to get seated, and then 15 for some one to take our order. 30 minute for our order to come out... Food was okay I mean it was just breakfast, would probably get the same food from Dennys or something. Not sure what the hype was about. Definitely felt over rated. I had high hopes but that's on me. Welp there goes our time enjoying the restaurant. Parking here is like a maze, good luck finding anything near by, we parked in the hotel parking lot.

10 Stars to The manager getting me at the counter fast for brunch. I called ahead from Tampa and asked if they were super busy, they said we'll get you in fast at the counter. Well Thanks for getting me in fast. Had the matzo brie, potato pancake, and a pastry basket to go. Absolutely fantastic. Everything was delicious. Also. Lorraine was my server and was extremely happy, friendly, and a pleasure dealing with. Thank you Lenny's for a wonderful experience. So looking forward to coming back

Very fun ambiance, old school diner vibes. Not a ton of vegetarian options other than really a grilled cheese and egg salad sandwich. They were good and the potato salad& latkes are phenomenal. I'd definitely order the latkes again.

Never lets us down. Everything is so delicious there. And the servers are all very sweet.

Food is awesome and restaurant had a nice old school diner vibe. Love all the classic decor that gave it an individual touch to the restaurant. Everything was hot that needed to be and seasoned. Country fried steak was crispy and had a nice homemade gravy. Biscuits are buttery and flaky and can tell are house made. French toast had a well flavored batter and cooked correct so the bread wasn't soggy but still had a sugary golden crust. Coffee was fresh and hot each time. Our server was friendly and prompt with all needs. We will definitely be returning. Great job Lenny's!

Stopped in for breakfast and had an amazing experience! Lenny's has a small diner feel with decades of experience. Everything from the coffee and danishes to the meals were absolutely delicious. I will be coming back for a knish before my trip is over. The staff was pleasant, welcoming, and a wealth of knowledge. 10/10 would recommend.

Having seen good reviews, I tried Lenny's twice during a recent visit to the area. If I lived in the area, it would probably be in my rotation of restaurants. On both visits, both the parking lot and restaurant were packed. It seems to be the norm, as the friendly staff did not seem fazed by the throngs of customers. On both visits, my party and I experienced great service. Don't worry that someone in your party won't find something to their liking. The menu is as packed with choices as their dining room is packed with patrons. On both visits, I found it difficult to choose my meal, as everything sounds good. On my first visit, I picked an omelette with American fries and a side of tomato slices. The eggs were good, not remarkable. The hollandaise sauce was without real flavor. The fried potatoes were good. What blew me and my dining partners away was the individual baskets of pastries. The bottomless coffee and the pastry basket alone would have been filling; I didn't really need to eat the rest of the day. On my second visit, I noticed all of the memorabilia on the walls. When a place is good and has been around for a long time, it has a chance to have been visited by many interesting people. My second meal was the Reuben sandwich. If for no other reason, I'd return for another sandwich! The meat was piled high and the rest of the sandwich exemplified everything I want when I order a Reuben. My mouth waters as I think of it. If you want breakfast or lunch, don't be leery of giving Lenny's a visit.

This was our first time and it was fantastic. Friendly staff made seating and ordering easy. The layout is open. Lots of groups talking and obviously having a good time. The drop tile ceiling and partial walls make sure it is not just crazy loud. That is big for me as I am partially deaf The food was great. Biscuits and Sausage gravy, eggs, and potato pancakes for me. BLT benny for my wife. Nice portions without being stupidly large. So much better than your average dinner food. I really really enjoyed his place. I already know I will be back.

Stepping into Lenny's is like stepping back in time. I have only gone here for breakfast but they certainly do it well. Portions are large, service is great and food is dependably good. They bring out a basket of pastries to start you off. That usually results in me not being able to finish my entree. Parking can be challenging, especially on the weekends. There is often a good wait then, too. I try to hit it on week days for those reasons.

Took me way too long living in the area to finally try Lenny's! Gives off a friendly, local NYC/philly diner vibe with cozy service making you feel right at home. Coffee was average/above-average and my server Loraine never let the mug go empty. Tried a chef special chalkboard menu item, the cinnamon roll French toast. Unique and tasty, not too sweet. Side of sausage links were good, sort of your standard diner sausage. The whole time was thinking I can't wait to come back a few more times while I live here to try more things on the menu!

Quite the memorable experience at this local institution. This bustling spot does classic American diner breakfast and Jewish deli staples under a festive atmosphere that even includes a balloon artist to entertain the kids on the weekends. Walls feature caricatures, photos of famous diners, and Phillies fan gear. The portobello mushroom Benedict and BLT Benedict had perfectly cooked eggs and toasted English muffins. The complimentary Danish basket was a nice touch. This spot is perfect for families to grab breakfast but I can imagine it can get quite busy on weekends. Luckily the food comes out pretty quick so the tables turn at a reasonable rate. They do have a parking lot but it was pretty full. We were warned not to park by the motel building next to the restaurant. Definitely worth a stop to experience this unique American diner.

We enjoyed brunch here 2 of our 5 days in Clearwater. The menu is excellent, the table relishes and danishes are amazing and Scott, our waiter, was friendly and attentive! Highly recommend when you are in the area!

Omg this place is amazing! The potato pancakes were delicious for our appetizer. My wife had the gator omelette & ofcourse she loved it,lol I tried it too. I had pastrami Ruben & it was yummy, The orders are huge & we took half of our meals home aka hotel next door. Definitely worth going here.

Lenny's has been a popular local destination place for breakfast and lunch for many years! It was a staple on my list when I lived closer and went to Clearwater more frequently. If you like retro style diners, you'll be happy that you discovered this place....great food, experienced & cordial service is the norm. My only gripe is the small parking lot - this place is always busy and often has a waiting line. Nothing I read in the current comments indicates a change of policy or service. I'm planning to go back there soon and will judge for myself! I'm not expecting any surprises and look forward to another great meal- will update when I know.

By far the best part of coming here is the atmosphere. It feels like you are stepping back in time. The servers are stern in a friendly northeastern kind of way. The decor looks like it hasn't been altered in 25 years. Yet the place is clean. There is usually a wait, however it moves quickly. The best food item is the pastry basket that comes free with many of the selections. Your best bet is to go with one of the Benedicts. You can't go wrong. Come with an empty stomach because you are going to going to leave full and your wallet won't be empty.

We absolutely loved the food and service here! It was delicious and such a great deal. Get the pastries!! The servers are friendly and the booths are cozy.

We came in on a tuesday around 10:30am and were seated immediately. Our drinks and food were brought out super quickly after we ordered. The danish basket was a nice touch with a handful of tasty different goodies. And the 4 pancakes that came with the hearty breakfast were such a decent size, they could be a meal on their own! Everything was great, and you really can't go wrong. We also appreciated the combination of their Phillies and eclectic decor!

If I could give this diner, 10 stars, I would. The people who work there are extremely friendly and helpful! Make sure to call ahead and add your name to the waitlist. The food is incredible! I loved all of the complimentary pastries but my favorite was the banana bread. I ordered the omelette with pancakes. The pancakes were fluffy and very flavorful. The winner was my husbands meal. Make sure to order the Redneck Benedict with onion home fries. I'm still dreaming about this breakfast and can't wait to go back!

I have no idea what happened to the pics I took, but go here! Stop waiting! The food came out so quickly and was absolutely delicious!! Also, the best rye bread I've ever had and made the perfect toast! Not only was the food amazing but the service was top notch. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and worked well together, it was such a fun experience. You do get a danish basket with each meal, and if you don't finish it they let you take it with you. Ours included quite a variety of mixed breads, rolls and actual danish. Then you get your hefty breakfast (highly recommend the fire potatoes); only to leave fat and happy :) we will definitely be back!

Just another reason to head to Lenny's. Their daily lunch specials are best of the bay. Thursday's fried chicken is even better.

If you're in Clearwater, you've got to go to Lenny's. We stayed in a Marriott hotel two doors down from Lenny's, he claims to be the best breakfast in town and I think I highly agree. We stumbled into Lennys on a Sunday morning at about 830 and the place was packed. We did manage to get a table. Everything about this place is fun. There are pictures of cartoon characters of Lenny, doing all kinds of things. The servers are very unique individuals and very professional and the food was just outstanding. Make sure when you're there that you order the pastry basket. It's a sampling of a whole bunch of sweet goodies to eat and they are delicious. All of our meals were perfect and our server was a blast. I wish it were down the street from my house instead of across the state, I'd come a lot more often.

Their breakfast menu is large and so far, very delicious. The prices were reasonable, the food was very delicious and super filling. I've been out and about and needed some nourishment and I've been supporting locals instead of corporate chains as much as possible. Decided today it would be Lenny's, and I noted how busy they were, normally a good sign. After going back and forth with the numerous menu options I decided on the Avocado Toast with 2 eggs (I had asked for scrambled, but received sunny side up, but to me eggs are eggs and mistakes happen, they were delicious), and home made fries. I received a Danish Basket for my sweet tooth, and very good! The Avocado topping was fresh but could have used seasoning. I did see a few 'Everything Bagel Seasoning' Seeds. I needed to add salt and pepper to give it taste and the toast was mushy, didn't get toasted enough or even toasted. The home made fries tasted delicious, but were greasy (literally oil on the plate). The overall opinion of my food was that it was average and definitely could have been knocked out of the park if the cook paid attention and took their time to ensure quality. I won't have the avocado toast again, and I'm hoping next time the home-Fries are less greasy. I enjoyed the old diner experience and service was prompt and friendly. My waitress was busy serving tables and taking phone orders and kept up with her in-house customers needs. I saw several guests enjoying their meals and leaving nothing on their plates. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the meal was average and I feel just a bad day or rushed. Just had a delicious CornedBeef & Swiss on rye. Deigo was amazing server. My chicken noodle soup was also delicious. I did sit directly across from A/C vent so I was a little chilly
