Look no further! I received the best blow out of my life at this place. After calling for a last minute appt day-of for an event that I was in town for, Bruno was able to accommodate and met my every request - from volume to the feathered ‘Sabrina Carpenter’ bangs - plus, he gave me the best hair wash with a scalp massage which was much needed for a lot of travel and nonstop commitments during my stay in NYC. I will definitely be back!

The location is beautiful and well maintained, the staff is friendly, and Bruno is simply fantastic. He's my go-to hairstylist in the city - super professional, gently, and kind. Every time I go, I walk out with the biggest smile. Bruno is the true guaratee for anyone looking for someone they can fully trust.

I was not really happy with my experience - the stylist didn't take time to align on the color and consult if the direction is right - color being aligned with the color of eyebrows is not really an answer - it's kind of a chicken vs. egg situation given I color my eyebrows to match my hair color. Haircut was almost non-existent both in terms of removing the damaged layers but also giving it any shape or form.

I’ve been going to Arté for many years and FIFI is your girl, I promise you. Not only is she a hair wizard when it comes to my various color and cuts, but she radiates warmth and kindness - and is the therapist I don’t currently have. I used to dread having to go to the salon, but she somehow knows exactly how to bring what I’m visualizing to life and the results are always better than what I could have envisioned. You would be a FOOL to not entrust FIFI with your hair aspirations. Seriously. Talented hairstylist / human GEM, she is.

I found this salon by chance, as I don’t live in New York, and I couldn’t be happier. Beautiful salon, great atmosphere, everyone was kind and smiling — and above all, Bruno did a wonderful balayage. It had been a long time since I was able to get the color I truly liked, but he understood right away and did an amazing job. I’m really satisfied and I will come to see Bruno every time I’ll come back here. Definitely recommend him!

I straightened my hair for years before deciding to let my natural curls grow. With the right haircuts and treatments, Bruno brought my curls back in just a few months! He's simply the best!

I almost hate to write this review bc I don’t want it to be hard to get an appointment here, but this is hands down the best salon in NYC !! I’ve been seeing Sherene for years, and I don’t trust anyone else with my hair. She is truly the best, and just radiates sunshine energy. She always gives me the perfect cut for my face shape & hair type - respecting my preference for low maintenance upkeep. I recently tried balayage to camouflage my greys - leaving it to her to choose the right color - and I’ve never gotten so many compliments. Prices don’t break the bank. From the friendly receptionists, to the assistants who give amazing scalp massages, to the owner Joseph who is a delight, to the best stylist Sherene who can instantly transform your day, this place is a real gem.

Christine at Arté is the best! I’ve been her client for a few years and whenever she does my hair it always looks great! The salon is very clean, and a very chill environment. Everyone there is so friendly. Christine just gets curly hair. When I got to her I tell just to do her thing and always nails it.
