Order at the register and enjoy some of the best Thai food. All the food was very fresh with a lot of variety. I had the vegetable stir fry with combo meat and it was perfect. I will say that the portion sizes are huge! I came with a pretty big group and they were able to accommodate us pretty easily. Will be back!

Naiyana did an absolutely beautiful job catering our wedding this summer. She was so easy to work with through the whole process, graciously hosting us for a delicious tasting, working with our venue and staff, and of course delivering an incredible meal on the day of with no hiccups. She was super flexible on menu choices, and we ended up with three delicious appetizers, three specialty teas and coffee, four or five separate entrees and mango sticky rice for dessert - best wedding food ever!! We 110% recommend both the delicious food at Folsom, and hiring Naiyana for any catering needs you have. Thanks so much for making our day even better, Naiyana!

We visited from NYC for a conference and bumped across this gem of a restaurant for dinner and we loved the food so much that we came back again for lunch during the few days that we were there. Absolutely amazing authentic Thai food! We tried the red and peanut curry for dinner the first day and lunch options the second and it was so good! Portion sizes were amazing and so were the staff! Really made us come back for their hospitality and the great food! Just come for the great food and you won’t be disappointed with whatever you order!

Absolutely incredible! Folsom Thai is easily one of the best spots in Boulder for authentic flavor and top-tier service. ​I highly recommend the Sweet and Sour Chicken with the Lunch Special. Everything we ordered came out fresh, piping hot, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it a perfect spot for either a quick lunch or a relaxed dinner. If you’re looking for high-quality Thai food in town, this is the place to go. I'll definitely be back! Name a place where you can go and get a complete meal with delicious and healthy food that includes an appetizer, drink and main for 18 to 20 bucks including the proteins? Crazy deal for a real meal. My meal of combination green curry was outstanding in flavor but I got it "Thai hot" and it wasn't very hot...Which is not right lol. Nice place though! I tried my friend's meal and I didn't like its flavor and he said it was average so four stars not five but it's worth going here because oh yeah I forgot the cold spring roll with the shrimp and the peanut sauce was really good

Thai food is difficult to do wrong, but I really appreciate a place like this that commits the extra bit of effort to making it exceptional. The exterior of the restaurant is rather unassuming, and even the interior is standard at best, but it's spacious and airy enough, leaving one comfortable enough to enjoy some delicious food. The beef noodle soup is particularly delightful, with the long stringy rice noodles contrasting with the hearty texture of the beef. Simply the broth by itself would be enough do you recommend a visit here, as it is sumptuous and flavorful. There are a lot of Thai food places in Boulder, but this is one of the best.

Great lunch with casual ambiance. I came and got their lunch deal today. That plus an extra appetizer was a perfect lunch for two with no leftovers. Around $15 a person total. Their Thai green tea is delicious as are the fresh tofu spring rolls and noodles.

Pretty solid Thai food. I got the Khao Soi with chicken and the tofu spring rolls for take out. The Khao Soi was flavorful and a good portion for the price. The noodles were a bit mushy but that tends to be the norm with takeout. I liked how they separated the noodles and curry so that it didn't get extra mushy in transit. Food was ready quickly. I'd come back!

Pretty good Boulder Thai spot! Tried the khao soi, pad see you, and mango sticky rice. All were pretty tasty. I will say their service is really great!! The people working there are super kind and care a lot.

It is absolutely criminal that this Thai place isn't closer to me. All my life I will forever be comparing every Thai restaurant to this one. They have an excellent lunch special that includes a meal of your choice with a spring roll and a drink for $18. It was a great deal but a ton of food- my husband and I could have shared for sure. I was devastated that they couldn't do a Thai tea decaf- most places can't, so I don't fault them, but I am dying for more places to offer decaf drinks. I ordered the Khao soi, which was amazing. So much flavor in the broth, with tender chicken and fresh vegetables mixing up the textures. My new favorite dish, hands down. My husband got the drunken noodles and our friend got a peanut dish, both of which were also excellent. Loved the simple decor, and the counter service was kind and patient while I asked questions about the menu. Highly highly recommend- I will absolutely be back next time I am in Boulder.

Loooove Folsom Thai - in our top 3 restaurants in Boulder. Great to pick up to go or order and eat there. No complaints - had the garlic fried rice with tofu (medium 2/4 spice). My husband had the Chicken Gra Prow and said it was amazing too - he usually wouldn't get the same thing twice from somewhere, but said he would get the chicken gra prow again. Also had the veggie fried spring rolls and 10/10 recommend.

Was craving some warm Thai food after a cold and rainy day in Boulder, and got a to go order of pad see ew here. I'm from WA and live in AZ and had some of the best Thai food in Washington. I would say this pad see ew was good but average, compared to what I've had but still good. The food came out quickly, and they had plenty of seating while you wait. The place was clean and the employees were friendly, and the price is great for the amount of food you get

My first time visiting Folsom Thai and I am a fan! The restaurant has a clean, comfortable atmosphere. My meal was probably some of the best Thai food I have ever had. I ordered a package meal at lunch is served 7 days a week and includes a drink. The Thai tea was perfectly flavored! The peanut shrimp curry is delicious! I had to box up half of the meal because it was really a large portion. Definitely plan to visit again soon! My table mates were also impressed with the food!

For the lunch special of $18, I got a Pad See Ew with chicken, one spring roll, and a pot of hot Jasmine tea. My colleague got pad thai with chicken. For an appetizer, I also got edamame. I came here for lunch at 11:50 on a Monday and 5 of the 12-ish tables were full, and there was also a steady stream of customers coming in to pick up food. The noise level was quiet enough to have a nice conversation, and I could bring a friend with hearing issues here. Some of the tables are right under the A/C vents, so I picked my table so that the air was not blowing directly on me. The whole place feels very clean and the tables were all wiped down. The Pad See Ew was delicious, I just wish it had a little more sauce. With chicken, which can be a little dry itself, I like my noodles more wet. I got medium level spice, which was consistent through the dish and kept a heat in my mouth for a few minutes and made my nose run a little, delightfully. The portion was big enough for me to take half of it home for lunch tomorrow. I would like to come back again and try something else.

Food and service is amazing. I don't ever eat out because I find most of the food in my area to be a bit overpriced and not of great quality but the food here is amazing and at a reasonable price. Ambiance is cute. Family/cozy and clean!

My go to Thai in Boulder. Such nice employees and yummy food and drinks! Khao soi is so good.

High quality food for an excellent affordable price. Service was fast and helpful. Menu is well laid out with plenty of suggestions. Food tasted fresh and very fragrant and flavorful. I was really happy that I chose this place for lunch. Inside very clean and welcoming. Free WiFi. Definitely recommend!

The menu looked great, but the shrimp fried rice was not worth $20. While it was delicious, it was one portion size with no sides. Understandable Boulder prices, but lacked bang for your buck. Will return getting something else off the menu.

Ate here with our daughter coming in from out of town... the flavors were nice, could have come out in better time... deliveries were scattered and we were all eating at different times... over all tho, everyone enjoyed their meals... it's a little hole in the wall ish, a frequented restaurant that could use a good scrubbing, seats and table were a little bit tacky... would def go back for more... 4.3 stars

Great food! Four dishes and we all said it was good to very good. Counter service with delivery to your table. Saw several delivery orders even at lunch on a weekday. Nice ambiance and able to talk and hear at the table. Definitely will go again when in the area.

Wow! So delicious and kind and helpful staff. What could be better. My aunt took me because she loves the Khao soup and I got the Pad Woon Sen which was so flavorful! The protein was tender and the spice was right on point! Only Thai place I will be eating at when I'm boulder from now on!

This place is just okay, and convenient. But the flavors are way way off traditional Thai. We are trying to go to all of the Thai restaurants in the area and this one was on the list. As a point of comparison, Busaba in Louisville is better and Mountain Thai in Broomfield is fantastic. If you feel like a road trip try Mountain Thai--better than Thailand!

Saw the reviews and had to try it. The spring rolls and the beef Pad Thai were great. The food came out fast and the service was friendly. I will definitely eat here again.

A bustling restaurant in the downstairs of a building that also has a sushi restaurant. You know it must be good when most tables were taken and a line to order at the counter. We ordered an interesting appetizer of fish cakes, I forget the actual name as my friend ordered them. Served with a vinegar sauce with cucumbers and some lettuce, it was tasty but a bit dry. We split the pad see ewe ordering it medium hot. I initially wanted hot, the next level up, but catered to my friend who can't take the heat. In the end it was a good level of spice. One of the better Pad See Ewe I've had as it wasn't too greasy. We ordered it as a combo with chicken, beef, and shrimp. $16; very reasonable.

Best Thai food I have had in the area so far. Ordered Pad Thai and a side of edamame- portion of edamame seemed a little small for the price but was a perfect portion of Pad Thai for the price. Will definitely be coming back!

I was craving Khao Soi. Folsom Thai had Khao Soi. It was GREAT. I could've left it there, but there's a bit to expand on. It's a quaint somewhat hole-in-the-wall Thai restaurant in the lower floor of a split-level conglomerate of businesses. There's not much to say about its humble interior, as it's simple and to-the-point. As of this review (early 2023) they have a unique method of having you order at the counter, pay-up-front, and grab your own drinks and cutlery on your way to the table of your choice. Fine by me! Within a few minutes our food was brought out. We opted for drunken noodles and Khao Soi, my two go-to options when available at ANY Thai restaurant. They also have ramen and a few non-Thai options, but that's not why I came. Khao Soi absolutely hit the spot. Technically, traditionally, it would include chicken on the bone. But as a lazy foodie, I appreciate the easier chicken to inhale-- erm, I mean enjoy. The curry broth was phenomenal and my humble choice of mild spice level was right on the money for my pansy-level spice tolerance. Now, the drunken noodles were fine, but not the best I've had, nor even close. They satisfied the craving, but there was a lot to be desired with the combination of ingredients. I did get the combo, and the meats were all fine, but nothing jumped out much. The noodles were perfect, but that's about it. Still, it's a great place, with overall solid quality food. It's not the best Thai food I've had, but it's among the best in Boulder. And it's different enough from Aloy that I'll continue to go support both. Support local, am I right?

Excellent food within walking distance of our hotel! Relaxed atmosphere! All three of our meals were superb and the service was excellent!

I ordered takeout for a diverse menu through the weekend. I usually order tofu + veggies in my Thai dishes and I was very disappointed by the low quantity of vegetables even though I paid extra for them. There were no mushrooms. Just a few medallions of carrots and a couple pieces of broccoli. The pas Thai was very dry. The order was done on time.

Loved itttt!!! The drunken noodles and Thai iced tea were so good that I almost had a heart attack at first taste. My aunt also loved her curry. So basically, you need to try it, asap!

This was my first time in almost 10 years living here trying Folsom Thai. The food was fine. I got the red curry (pretty standard, nothing special), my friend got the tonkatsu ramen ("tasty, but in general underwhelming"). The low rating was for service. I ordered for takeaway through yelp. After an hour waiting for the confirmation that the order was completed, I called, and the young woman who answered was like, oh, that's been sitting here for 20 minutes. okay. So, I walk over and when I arrive at the business the door is locked from the outside... when i knocked several times the young woman did not even look up, but rather a nearby customer had to get up from his meal to let me in. there were only 3 people in this small venue to begin with and no ambient noise, not music was even playing. Honestly, for the same amount of money, Alloy Thai is not that much farther (maybe 2 square blocks?) and you get a much MUCH nicer environment and service experience. I would have walked away at the door, but the bill for 2 lunch entrees +20% tip was almost $40. what a joke.

This place! Amazing food. Little hard to park there but it's worth it. All the curry is fantastic and the service is outstanding. When in Boulder, this is the place for curry.

The best Thai food in Boulder County! I've tried at least 10 other Thai restaurants in the area, and Folsom Thai is the best by far. Service is nice and friendly. I just wish that there was table service and a more stay-for-a-while atmosphere so that I could go to Folsom Thai with friends and family from out of town. Ambiance-wise, you'd stay at Folsom Thai slightly longer than a Chipotle. Great food, great service!

Simply the BEST Khao Soi I've ever had - I'm addicted. Tried the Tom Yum soup for the first time today - very good - felt healing. Can not go wrong with the pad thai either. Great foodie find in Boulder.

Best pad thai ever!!!!!!! Only complaint is that the parking lot is super chaotic. Otherwise, one of my favorite restaurants in boulder.

I ordered delivery via Grubhub and overall was happy. The pad Thai was delivered warm, the spice level was just right (hot but not overwhelmingly so), and the dish was tasty. I would have preferred some more sprouts and a bit less oil which is why this isn't a 5 star review. But overall I enjoyed my meal and would recommend this place at least for delivery.

Veg/ tofu pad thai was average. Drunken noodles were below average, "very oily, not much flavor, just oil". And just so you know the tofu is fried and according to my partner "tasted like cat pee"!

Delish!! Good portion sizes and super flavorful. Pad Thai was excellent, massaman curry was also a hit. Spring rolls were served warm instead of cold, which I enjoyed, and the peanut sauce was rich and creamy. Would definitely recommend that you order a spice level higher than usual...after all, we are in Boulder! My Thai hot was just medium. :-)

I was craving Thai food during a trip to Boulder and found Yelp reviews for Folsom Thai that were pretty good. I ordered the Panang curry with beef, which was a bit more watery than what I'm used to. However it tasted light and the rice was fluffy in a good way. The crab cheese wontons were a sized good portion. The dipping sauce was a bit more on the sour side, but overall OK.

Such a cute little neighborhood place with plenty of vegan and vegetarian options. We will definitely be back!

Yea, it's good. This place may even beat what most of us consider the top Thai around the area, (Thai cafe in Edgewater). Food is always good at Folsom Thai. Spice level is what you would expect for the level ordered. Defiantly on my frequent list.

In from Taos looking for some decent Thai. Their rating on Yelp is what drew us to trying their curries and fried rice. We were incredibly disappointed in the bland flavor from dishes that are typically anything but. Took to go, so no review on service. Just very disappointed in the product.

I love supporting small business owners. Even better when they are so happy and and nice. My coworker and I had a work event in the area and stopped by here for lunch. The owner was one of the happiest people I've seen in a awhile. We shared the drunken noodles with beef and pad Thai with tofu. Both were tasty. And if you ask for spicy it'll definitely have a kick! I also had their Thai tea which was authentic. Service was super quick. Nice find in the area.
