On the Grid : Cherry Park

"This park is a local gathering spot for families using the playground and splash pad, kids playing on the basketball court and couples walking their dogs. Technically a "mini park," it's nestled next to a small convenience market and ice cream shop. We recommend grabbing a cone and taking in some nature and observing the locals." - Conduit

This is a great little park for little kids. It's almost completely fenced in so you don't have to worry about them wandering into the street. There's 2 toddler swings and 2 older kid swings. There's also several picnic tables, a splash pad, and other playground equipment.

Extremely mediocre park. It’s a shame because they have a good amount of space. Just not nearly enough equipment and what they do have is extremely dated. In general, there’s not nearly enough parks in/near downtown GR. Also, this park has probably the saddest excuse for a “splash pad” that I’ve ever seen.

Over all nice space for a little adventure with mid aged kiddos and dogs.

Nice small park. Plenty of picnic tables and benches with shade. Water play area and playground equipment for kids. Tennis and pickleball courts are new and very well kept.

Solid Park with a a lot of variety for it's small size. Playground could use modern updates. And the newer benches have been treated poorly

My kids love it, and that's what counts. Bathroom is out of order, though.

Nice little park in a good neighborhood. They have picnic tables and sometimes music at the park. It has tennis & basketball courts. There is also bathrooms but I didn't use them to know what kind of shape they are in. You have to use caution with the playground equipment because it's older and I don't feel is safe for toddlers without CLOSE supervision. The park is fenced in and dog friendly.
