"This comic book store—hidden at the top of a strip mall stairwell—consists of two rooms of floor-to-ceiling shelves tightly packed with Korean comics, manga, and graphic novels. The difference here is that you rent—not buy—what you read, and for fifteen bucks, you’re free to browse the archive and settle into one of the comfy leather sofas for an entire day (beverages and Korean shrimp crackers included), or check out a few comics to take home, like a lending library. It’s entirely normal (and encouraged) for people to set up shop for an afternoon, their feet on the table, a stack of comics—and a refreshment—by their side."

to everyone who isnt sure about this place. this is not a comic book store. it's a reading room with comic books ONLY in Korean. its not a place to just enter and scan through to "check out artwork." you enter, you pay by hour, and just read whatever you want. if this sounds like the place you are looking for, you will enjoy it.

As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a rude lady who told us all books were in Korean. We told her we didn't mind and we just wanted to take a look around. I was impressed at how many books there were and was flipping through some comics to look at the art work. After a few more minutes the lady came back out and very rudely told us "no English" and gave us a dirty look. She made it very obvious we were not welcome there so we left.

This is a Korean language only reading room, not a comics shop. Still, the staff explained this politely enough. It looks nice, well lit, with good ac and a lot of manga(?) Books. It's odd that they named this Western Comics when there are no Western comics for sale. I guess it's because it's on Western. If you speak Korean or just want some Asian snacks, you might like it.

Love this place to watching fantasy and comics with korean. Totally recommended it. Also you can purchase sodas and snacks too. Dont go there on lunch time or dinner time. It is hard to find parking place on there. The price of the time on there is sooo good. You can only pay for 15 bucks for all day.

They had comfy couch and variety of snacks and food. I didn't finish my comic book and the lady gave me an extra time for free. Selections of comics were up to date
