Loved this place, they have a variety of options for treatments from toe to head and really good deals, the staff is really friendly and helpful. I recommend the full body massage and if you have a lot of stress or tension I recommend you cupping, it releases a lot of tension from your back. The head massage was really nice too and it makes you feel like they preparing you to sleep. My money was well spent lol.

My husband & I came here to celebrate our 12 year wedding anniversary. This is exactly what we needed after a long day of exploring the city. I would love to come back here and bring my girlfriends. Queenie did an absolutely amazing job. I asked for deep tissue, and she definitely got DEEP into my tissues. I was on the verge of tapping out a few times, but my mind and my body knew that this is exactly what was needed. She used several different stretching, massaging, kneading and warming techniques to actually allow my muscles to relax. I was full of so many knots. I enjoyed the foot massage service added onto the massage. I could feel her hitting all my tiny reflexology points. I also liked the head spa. This was my first experience with this service. It was so relaxing and a part of the experience was healing to have another woman take care of me. I will beg my husband to take me here when we are in NYC. It's worth the 3 hour drive. Quiet environment. Clean space. We waited about 5 minutes.

For the type of spa it is (low “frills”) and the $99 for 2 hours deal (body massage and head spa), it met and exceeded my expectations. My hair looks great & feels great (see pic). Walking back to the subway some guys on the street even cat called me to say I had nice hair - take that as an endorsement what you will 🤣. Everyone there was nice and made sure I was comfortable. Few details - -It does get crowded on the weekend so if that’s not your vibe maybe try to go a less popular time. -After the head spa it’s just a blow dry not a blow out with a brush - so it’s up to you to know your hair and if that’s going to work for you. This isn’t a hair salon. They do brush it out briefly at the end and put some oil in it. I was prepared having looked at other reviews, and the tip to bring my own brush for that was a good one. - Please be understanding that this is a low-frills place. It’s in the basement and they make it as nice as they can, but you might smell a faint hint of mold at times as the other reviews said. They give you a clean towel, but it’s not a five star hotel. If that’s not your thing it doesn’t have to be but just have the right expectations going in. That said, the service is great. I have been to fancier spas only to have disappointing massages. This place asked me what level of pressure I wanted and paired me with someone based on that.

Got my first ever spa experience here, and I’m not disappointed! I chose the $99 package which included a 1-hour full body massage, 45-min foot massage, and 15-min head massage. My masseuse, Cinty, was fantastic. She constantly checked if the pressure was right. The hot stones during the full body massage were amazing, and I would love to try cupping next time. The foot massage was also spot on. The only downside was the head massage. It felt a bit underwhelming, more like a hair wash than a massage and could have been better. Overall, a really nice experience with a relaxing ambiance. And don’t miss the Chinese biscuits at the front desk, they are a treat! 😋

My spine hurts from the lack of attention and excessive pressure. For 30 min body and 30 foot it was $60 but it's cash price.. Price wise is would say it's great. They also have a sign that asks for 20% gratuity so that's really good. But I had Cindy? Or was it Wendy? I know my friend had Lucy... but foot massage from her was better than the back massage - but still not the best. She put her entire body weight on my back and used more elbow to rub up and down rather than getting knots out. Pretty disappointed in the massage... I might come back to try out their 2 hour special but definitely wouldn't want the same girl again.

Loved my experience at Forever Spa! The staff were super friendly and made me feel comfortable right away. The massage was amazing — really hit all the right spots and helped me relax both body and mind. I felt so refreshed afterward. They’ve got a great deal going on right now too — $99 for a 2-hour combo! Totally worth it. I’ll definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend!

Very professional service. I chose the 99 package for two hours, one hour of head treatment and one hour of massage. It was very relaxing and comfortable!

My fiancé and I went here and did not have the best experience. We booked the $99 one hour body and one hour hair. The one-hour hair treatment was decent. They were very nice and actually went in, gave a little facial treatment, and even massaged our arms and a little bit of the thighs. They were very attentive and very nice and took their time. The issue arose though with the massage. We had a couple room and our masseuses were not good. Our masseuses only put oil on our back and mainly rubbed it up and down. They did not massage us at all but instead only would put pressure with their elbow for a few seconds, touch a knot and press on it, and then proceed to continue to rub hot oil. If anything they hurt me more because they did not get out any knots or give any massages but only pressed the knots. The hot stones were good, however it was just more rubbing. My fiancés' masseuse was also blowing her nose of times and then would proceed to rub her with the oil, and then blow her nose again. We understood that they must be overworked, however this was not the best massage. We did let them know after we ended.

Yelp
Came here with my friend we made an appointment for 8:30p since we were coming out of work. We sat down and had to wait for a bit till they were ready no problem we weren't in a rush. We Registered for the 1 Hour body massage + 45 min head spa+ 15 min foot massage. We were allowed to stay together and thought we were getting a typical massage but it turned out to be pressure point massage that was painful but did help the body get some blood flow to places that I have body aches in. They start off with placing you face down and putting a blanket on your body and rubbing you then pressing down on your pressure points. Unfortunately we tried to communicate that it was a bit painful but they didn't speak English so mama didn't raise no quitter and we powered through the whole thing . Once they where in the middle of the pressure point massage they bring hot stones which felt amazing and they remove the blanket off of you 1/2 way and put oil on you and rub the stones on your skin which felt amazing. Once our timer rang they left the room and we got dressed sat down and waited since they were busy with other ppl so we had to wait a while, they finally had room for only my friend to start the head spa so I continued to wait. When I was finally called to start the head spa you change out of your top and they give you a towel to cover your mid section and lower your bra not remove it. And they massage your face and head and brush your hair. I had no clue this was the head spa part I thought they just rub your head. I did not know they wash your hair & dry it. They rub your face and do a face mask I believe it was an aloe one and they use the metal face massager to stimulate blood flow and collagen. Which was nice. So here's where we drop some points they do not know how to handle non Asian hair. I am a person with very long curly hair. The lady did her best trying to brush my hair I offered to detangle it myself since I know how to hand my type of hair and again language barrier and she gestured no no so yeah.... Not the best feeling reminded me of my childhood when mom would try to detangle my hair. Ouch The hair products they used smelled amazing the rubbing was nice and the metal thing in the hair felt nice but the detangle and trying to dry my type of hair was a definite no. The lady then gave up on trying to detangle my hair and proceeded to sit me down to dry my hair with no brush just by waving around the blow dryer at me and running her hands in my hair with her hands. Again I have curly hair this is not how we dry or straighten our hair. By this time I guess the lady gave up and stop blow drying my hair and just turned off the blow dryer. 1/2 my head was detangle the other 1/2 knotted now and 1/2 dry and 1/2 wet. My hair looked as if I stuck my hand in the electrical outlet. It was bad... lucky I brought a hair clip. Smh And we didn't get our foot massage cuz was now too late. :( If you like strong pressure point massage I recommend this place. If you have curly thick non Asian/indian hair don't do the head spa it will not be a good experience. Idk how the foot massage was.

Yelp
Very clean and well managed! The combo of head spa/body massage ($99 for nearly 2 hours) was thorough and professional. The head spa was especially luxurious. I highly recommend a visit to Forever Spa.

Yelp
Oh. My. God. $99 for 2 hours. Blew our minds away!! We got there a lot earlier than our scheduled appointment time and they were still able to fit us in which was great. The service itself was soooo relaxing. Perfect after a few days in the city. I got the head spa and body massage combo and loved the body massage way more but the head spa was good too. Everyone was really friendly. Highly recommend trying it out

Yelp
My first visit to forever spa and would come here again, the staff is kind and have good customer service. I had the two hour deal 1 hour body massage and 1 hour foot massage. The massage was done well and I felt comfortable and relaxed. My only surprise was location, lol. Outside is like whatttt, but when you go inside and downstairs it is much better. Thank you for a good experience. I will be back.

Yelp
I had an absolutely amazing experience at NYC Forever Spa! From the moment I called to book, Ellie at the front desk was so kind and accommodating--she always makes scheduling a breeze. I tried the head massage, couples 1-hour massage, and oil massage, and each one was pure bliss! A huge thank you to Jenny, Rose, and Xin Xin for their incredible skill and professionalism. They made sure every minute of the massage was relaxing, therapeutic, and exactly what I needed. The atmosphere is clean, cozy, and super relaxing--perfect for unwinding. I'll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for top-notch massages in NYC! Thank you, NYC Forever Spa!

Yelp
Great foot and body massage. Arguably the best massage I've had so far. However the rest of the experience was less than subpar. I had called to make a reservation few days before. Was told both Fri and Sat were available. Thought I had made the reservation for Fri. Showed up Friday, was told that there was no reservation made for Fri. While looking over their handwritten booking system, saw my number for Sat instead. Now it's possible that I made the reservation for Saturday but based on the itinerary I had with an out of town friend, I have strong doubts that it was my mistake. Came back Saturday. The place was packed. Was told to wait 20 + min or so. Despite booking for two people, we were separated (which was fine until...). We had booked for 3 service combo. I waited nearly 40 min after the foot/body massage for the head massage. My friend was nowhere to be found. As I was about to start my head massage, my friend messaged me that she was done. The head massage was disappointing. Spent 10-15 min just hair drying and my curly hair was straightened without a straighter without being asked. Felt like I was just getting a hair washed (with a massage) at the hair salon + quick facial with a face mask otherwise. Definitely NOT worth the 40 min wait. Was told while I was waiting 40+ min that they would offer a discount. No discount. Though I did not ask about it and I acknowledge there may have been a discount if I had asked. But the person working the counter by then was a different person than the one that told me to wait 20 + min x2 and offered a discount so I am not sure if they would have honored it. Just be aware. You might have to spend your entire morning or afternoon here or be told that reservation is different. Good massage though.

Yelp
$60 for sauna and 1hour massage. Jenny is my favorite masseuse there from my 2 visits. What more can I say. I'm writing this bc I never want them to close

Yelp
Just walked out of here and can confidently say it was the top 2 worst massages I've ever received. The guy who massaged me barely used any pressure even when I asked him to increase the pressure, but he did use what felt like all the body oil in the world. I think my neck and traps are even tighter than when I walked in from the sheer frustration of the experience. No one even asked me how my massage was when I was done or paying. It's clear they don't count on repeat customers. Major sigh.

Yelp
On a rainy Saturday in April, I found myself in lower Manhattan's Chinatown on an unexpectedly cold day. I was inquiring about my preferences for a massage and indicated that I was comfortable with a male masseuse. I was pleased to meet a very friendly and professional, and PT in training who also provided valuable guidance on stretching techniques. I truly enjoyed the experience and would encourage others to visit Forever Spa. If you're fortunate, I recommend requesting Lenin as your therapist. Thank you for a wonderful massage on that rainy Saturday.
