Elan Event Venue

I went over to Elan earlier today to enjoy the catering, the excellent wifi and a chair message. My only quibble: no carbonated mineral water (but so many spirits the place exudes spirit-uality). They had salad, too; especially yummy after I took the roast beef and turkey out of the sandwich. The postmodern easy chairs by the entry are comfortable for surfing.

I was ready to throw in the towel after searching for a wedding reception venue for over a year. I couldn't find anything affordable with the things I wanted: high ceiling, wood floors, good location, in the city, and the ability to end the party past 1am. Then my fiance, now husband, takes the computer from me and finds this gem in 5 minutes! We rented the first and second floors. It was perfect. Mr. Mynin Wong was an absolute pleasure to work with. I highly recommend this venue.

I had a business meeting in one of the downstairs conference rooms. While the upstairs space is a beautiful layout for parties and what not, the lower level is for more meeting and less celebration. It's like two different worlds. So I guess depending on what you're here for, you're going to get very different ambiance.

This is a beautiful venue - I'm considering holding our annual company party here. The lighting is perfect for any art shows. This is just a gorgeous site and the location is perfect! Yes, it is street parking, but you're not far from parking garages and free street parking after 6pm. I read another review about this place used for a wedding reception - fantastic idea - this is hands down one of my favorite venues and will consider and likely use in the future.

I just tried to call and learn more about the space, because nothing seems to be online, and the person I called was very rude and very uninformative. Would not recommend based purely on the service.
