160ft Beerworks

Nice small brewery serving beer and cold brew coffee. The coffee is delicious and the black gold (a black sour hefe) is quite refreshing with just the right about of tart. They're a new brewery (only been open 1.5 months) but they're quite good. Give them a try!

Very down to earth place. The beer selection was only 4 taps but three were stouts so I was happy. I spent the evening talking to Micheal (the owner), Ellen (server), and my friend Joel. The place had A/C and $3 pints. There was a chugging contest and tap dancing. Apparently they are still figuring out their own niche in the local beer scene, so experimental brews that fall outside typical styles are to be expected. I'm looking forward to seeing how this little brewery develops.

Solid beer, friendly staff. All beers very drinkable. Black Gold Hefe was good! UPDATE 10/4/17 - Permanently closed due to the effects of Hurricane Harvey. It is possible they will reopen, but no word yet.

Great beer! Nice chill place. The owner and staff were really cool to talk to.
