Very good intimate performing arts venue in Buffalo. Caring staff, stylistically diverse programming. Co-founded by Ani DiFranco (she is no longer involved with it).

9th Ward is one of the coolest rooms I have been in to see a band play - Mates of State. Staff was gracious. Sound was perfect. Bathrooms were clean. Bar had good options. Definitely a solid place.

This venue is now called Asbury Hall or Babeville. An old church turned mysic venue, great acoustics, reasonable drink prices, we'll be back!

What a fantastic gem of a gallery. I've yet to see a show here but the gallery has an eye popping display of very local and regionally local artists. High quality and thoughtful art in a gorgeous, renovated building. A true gem for Buffalo.

Babeville is an awesome venue to see Analog Kids Rush tribute! If you are a rush fan you really need to see Analog Kids! Note for note perfection!

Amazing! Church vibes were quickly squashed once the music started. Absolutely beautiful venue!

Yelp
The worst customer service! I purchased a poster online July 13th and have not received it and person in charge of shipping it doesn`t even respond to my emails or calls anymore after speaking to them twice on the phone asking for a tracking number. Asked for a refund last week with a man that answered my phone call and not issued yet.

Yelp
This is an interesting place. They have been in 4 different locations over the years. Now they reside in "Babeville", or share the space anyway. The show space is perfect for smaller shows. The current focus is on sinkholes around the world. Very interesting. The installation itself is fascinating. The space also houses a small music venue, the church area itself, which hosts concerts and weddings and everything in between and some open office type space upstairs. Parking in the lot is limited but there is street parking, free after 6pm, in the area.

Yelp
I've seen a lot of events coming through Hallwalls lately and that makes me excited for downtown Buffalo. With the recent renovation of the Lafayette Hotel, reopening of The Statler -- downtown Buffalo life is starting to tip the scales. As frustrating as it may be to spend fifteen minutes driving around looking for parking downtown, when I had to do that to make a show at Hallwalls last Friday, I was secretly happy because it demonstrated how far Buffalo has come in just the last few years. This space is connected, yet separate from Babeville. It has its own parking lot, but when I came here for a show lately the lot was full so I drove up and down Delaware to try to find a parking spot. If you come early enough, you'll be fine..the lot is fine, but for more popular shows you may have to find some street parking. My friend and I came to see a performance of what was dubbed as "Contemporary Classical Music," and it was a lot of fun! We were in an auditorium-esque room with around fifty seats and a non-elevated 'stage' up front. Drinks were served outside and it was very casual, just like the space. No bells and whistles, but it works and could be used for quite a few smaller events.
