What a wonderful experience and so much fun!! Our guide Jason was extremely knowledgeable of the history of Colorado and Colorado Springs. He was so friendly and funny! At the end of the tour, it felt like you had made a new friend. In fact, we will request him the next time we plan another tour. The food was good, the weather was perfect and the places we went to were super friendly. I won't write all the places we went because they like to keep it a secret and have different restaurants for different tours. I like how the establishments provided a good amount of food and were able to accommodate people with allergies or dietary restrictions . My husband is not a huge fan of seafood, so instead of a fish taco, he was given a pulled pork taco and it was so good! I purchased the drink package for him and out of the 6 places we went, he got 2 beers and a glass of wine. If you have never taken a tour, I would highly recommend it and they happen all year long. You can do shorter tours as well. They typically will have groups up to twelve, the day we went, it ended up being only a group of four, plus our tour guide Jason. You have to like interacting with people because you will sit with them, talk to them and by the end of the tour, you feel like you are leaving with some new acquaintances.

Jason from the Rocky Mountain food tour was great. He had alot of useful information about the "Springs" or "ColoRADo". I believe now I'm a local. In the first photo that is not Jason shirtless. The second photo is Jason with the hair!!

First, Behr was awesome. He was warm, welcoming, knowledgeable, and considerate of my food restriction. The selection of restaurants and their meal choices to serve were flawless! By the time we finished the 2nd destination, I lost count on how many we had left. That’s how much I was enjoying myself. The history provided during the tour was very interesting, entertaining and thought provoking. I believe my favorite part of the history lessons were received was about the gold mining era and “ghost towns”. The art and humpty dumpties we learned about around the city were fun! One restaurant was not 100% prepared to receive the group because they had a lunch rush, however Behr handled it like a champ to ensure seating and that experience continued without a hitch. We also had a brief interloper trying to offer some historical assistance, but our trusty guide Behr handled that as well and definitely held his ground in my eyes. lol I was happy to have down this at the beginning of our trip, so that we were able to revisit some favorites. Definitely worth the money. Definitely worth the time. An experience to be remembered for sure!

My husband and I went on the Rocky Mountain Food Tour on the last day of our baby moon in Colorado Springs. It was actually our first food tour since I am a vegan and he is not 😆 Samantha was very helpful ahead of time in ensuring that each restaurant could accommodate my dietary preferences. Behr, our tour leader, was awesome! He is full of historical information, a foodie, very friendly and enthusiastic. We learned a lot about the history of COS and had some really awesome food! Every stop was different from the last, so we really appreciated the variety. We would recommend this tour to everyone!

The most fun we’ve had celebrating our anniversary in public! 😜 Our tour guide Behr was top notch! He shared great historical facts and photos throughout the tour with loads of information about Colorado Springs that was new to us. The food stops were excellent and overall we just had so much fun. Highly recommend!!!
